Purpose: Uveitis associated with psoriasis vulgaris is usually seen as an anterior segment inflammation, and it is very rare that the inflammation extends to the posterior segment. We herein report a case of severe panuveitis associated with psoriasis vulgaris presenting as retinal neovascularization, leading to vitreous hemorrhages that were successfully treated with infliximab (IFX). Case Report: A 27-year-old male with psoriasis vulgaris was referred to our hospital due to prolonged severe uveitis OU. He showed a severe anterior chamber inflammation with fibrin formation and total posterior iris synechia OU. With topical corticosteroid treatment, these conditions were relieved for a short time; however, the intraocular inflammation was exacerbated with vitreous hemorrhages caused by retinal neovascularization OS. After the administration of IFX therapy, the intraocular inflammation and retinal neovascularization was resolved, and so far, no severe recurrences have been seen for 3 years with the therapy. Conclusion: When we see patients with severe panuveitis associated with psoriasis extending to the posterior segment, IFX treatment may be a good therapeutic option.

The material of the present study was composed of 30 eyes with luxatio lentis occurring in 20 dogs. Unilateral lens luxation was determined in a half of the animals while bilateral luxation was determined in the other half. Lenses in 19 of the 30 eyes were luxated in the anterior direction (63.3%), three were luxated in the posterior direction (10%) and eight were subluxated (26.6%). The distribution of patient dogs based on the breeds showed that the incidence of lens luxation was higher in Terrier, Cocker Spaniel and crossbreed dogs compared to the other breeds. The results of etiological classification of the diseases which are generally seen in older dogs (on average 7.2 years old) were as follows: congenital in two patients, primary luxation in four patients, and secondary luxation in 14 patients. Secondary luxations diagnosed in 14 animals were determined to have developed as a result of trauma in two dogs, glaucoma in one dog, uveitis in one dog, and senile degeneration and/or cataract in 10 dogs. Bilateral (two dogs) and unilateral (five dogs) intracapsullar lens extraction (ICLE) was applied to these animals. The primary disease was to be kept under control by treating those with secondary lens luxation for uveitis or glaucoma. A severe progressive intraocular inflammation developed in one patient. Enucleation was conducted on this patient due to buphthalmus developing in a short time. These results may be helpful to small animal veterinarians dealing with this disease which results in blindness unless early diagnosis and surgical treatment are conducted.

The aim of this case report was to present further study about diagnosis and management of bilateral compressive optic neuropathy induced by schwannoma. This case report will discuss about the definition, classification, etiology, clinical diagnosis and treatment for compressive optic neuropathy. A case report. 43 years-old woman complained about blurred vision since 2 years ago. She also complained about pain on her right head while she was walking. There was no history of tinnitus or hearing loss. She had a history of contraception pill uses and progesterone injection every 3 months for 5 years alternately. She also suffered from schwannoma in cerebello pontine angle based on MRI and histopathology examination. From physical examination, best corrected visual acuity on right eye was 5/6 PHNI and on left eye was 5/8 PHNI. Ishihara test showed decreased colour vision. There was also ataxic gait. From anterior segment examination, there were decreased light reflex and RAPD. From posterior segment examination, there were papilloedema and elevation on both eyes proved by OCT and fundal imaging.  Neuroprotector therapy and surgery show a good result. Ishihara test are improving, light reflex are increasing and there are no RAPD anymore. From posterior segment, papilloedema are slowly diminished. The patient presents a case of bilateral compressive optic neuropathy induced by schwannoma. Neuroprotector and surgery show a good result.

Verrucous psoriasis is a rare variant of plaque-type psoriasis with only about 35 cases reported. The authors reported a man with a history of psoriasis vulgaris for seven years, presented with progressive verrucous hyperkeratotic plaques on both legs for three years. His earlier investigations favored the diagnosis of tuberculosis verrucosa cutis. After completing the antituberculous therapy, the lesions persisted.
