Pseudoaneurysm is due to a disruption in arterial wall continuity. It forms a sac that communicates with the vessel lumen and is surrounded by the compressed, surrounding tissues and not by the wall of the artery from which the lesion arises. Many causes can predispose to the formation of a pseudoaneurysm such as trauma, surgical procedures, anticoagulation. In our patient another important risk factor for the formation of a pseudoaneurysm is ADPKD (autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease) that can cause vascular complication. The mechanisms leading to the genesis of the pseudoaneurysms in our patient are unknown, but the clinicians should bear in mind when evaluating this type of patients that ADPKD may have a various range of systemic cardiovascular manifestation.

AbstractThe case of a 31 year old male presenting as an emergency with a recurrent colonic volvulus is described. A chest X-ray on admission to hospital showed the presence of hepato-diaphragmatic interposition of the colon, Chilaiditi’s Sign, which is known to be a risk factor for colonic volvulus. This is only the fourth reported case of colonic volvulus in association with Chilaiditi’s Syndrome and the first with recurrent colonic volvulus. The optimal treatment for recurrent volvulus in patients with risk factors such as Chilaiditi’s Syndrome or megacolon is also discussed.

This article is about the case of actinic reticuloid — the rare dermatosis which clinical presentation is similar to atopic dermatitis, T-cell lymphoma. Good treatment effect was obtained by long cycles (2 cycles for 3 months) of hydroxychloroquine and sun protective therapy included sunscreens SPF 50, nicotinic acid, sun-safe clothes which blocked ultraviolet radiation without any glucocorticosteroid drugs and cytostatic treatment.

The current case report is presenting a post her third cesarean delivery COVID-19 infected woman who was 35years old, morbidly obese, and asthmatic. As coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a new disease, its information is constantly being updated. Earlier reports of COVID 19 claims that pregnancy did not affect the progress of the disease severity. Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that pregnancy is a risk factor for COVID-19 severity. In the current case, her pregnancy may aggravate the criticality of COVID-19 infection in the addition to of her other risk factors (age, asthma, and obesity) up to death.

Background Invasive mucormycosis is a very aggressive fungal disease among immunocompromised pediatric patients caused by saprophytic fungi that belong to the order of the Mucorales. Case Report We describe a case of  of Lichtheimia corymbifera infection in a 15-year-old child with B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) involving lung, kidney and thyroid that initially was diagnosed as probable aspergillosis delaying the effective therapy for mucormycosis. Conclusions This case showed that also intensive chemotherapy with rituximab may represent a risk factor for mucormycosis infection. Liposomal amphotericin B and surgery  remain  key tools  for a successful treatment of this aggressive disease.

AbstractA rare case is presented concerning retroperitoneal hemorrhage in a 28-year-old patient after a cold knife conization and cervical suture reconstruction. Arteriovenous cervicoisthmic malformation is a risk factor that was identified in a hysterectomy sample.
