This paper uses an improved deep learning algorithm to judge the rationality of the design of landscape image feature recognition. The preprocessing of the image is proposed to enhance the data. The deficiencies in landscape feature extraction are further addressed based on the new model. Then, the two-stage training method of the model is used to solve the problems of long training time and convergence difficulties in deep learning. Innovative methods for zoning and segmentation training of landscape pattern features are proposed, which makes model training faster and generates more creative landscape patterns. Because of the impact of too many types of landscape elements in landscape images, traditional convolutional neural networks can no longer effectively solve this problem. On this basis, a fully convolutional neural network model is designed to perform semantic segmentation of landscape elements in landscape images. Through the method of deconvolution, the pixel-level semantic segmentation is realized. Compared with the 65% accuracy rate of the convolutional neural network, the fully convolutional neural network has an accuracy rate of 90.3% for the recognition of landscape elements. The method is effective, accurate, and intelligent for the classification of landscape element design, which better improves the accuracy of classification, greatly reduces the cost of landscape element design classification, and ensures that the technical method is feasible. This paper classifies landscape behavior based on this model for full convolutional neural network landscape images and demonstrates the effectiveness of using the model. In terms of landscape image processing, the image evaluation provides a certain basis.

Abstract In this paper, I proposed an iris recognition system by using deep learning via neural networks (CNN). Although CNN is used for machine learning, the recognition is achieved by building a non-trained CNN network with multiple layers. The main objective of the code the test pictures’ category (aka person name) with a high accuracy rate after having extracted enough features from training pictures of the same category which are obtained from a that I added to the code. I used IITD iris which included 10 iris pictures for 223 people.

AbstractTemporomandibular disorders are typically accompanied by a number of clinical manifestations that involve pain and dysfunction of the masticatory muscles and temporomandibular joint. The most important subgroup of articular abnormalities in patients with temporomandibular disorders includes patients with different forms of articular disc displacement and deformation. Here, we propose a fully automated articular disc detection and segmentation system to support the diagnosis of temporomandibular disorder on magnetic resonance imaging. This system uses deep learning-based semantic segmentation approaches. The study included a total of 217 magnetic resonance images from 10 patients with anterior displacement of the articular disc and 10 healthy control subjects with normal articular discs. These images were used to evaluate three deep learning-based semantic segmentation approaches: our proposed convolutional neural network encoder-decoder named 3DiscNet (Detection for Displaced articular DISC using convolutional neural NETwork), U-Net, and SegNet-Basic. Of the three algorithms, 3DiscNet and SegNet-Basic showed comparably good metrics (Dice coefficient, sensitivity, and positive predictive value). This study provides a proof-of-concept for a fully automated deep learning-based segmentation methodology for articular discs on magnetic resonance images, and obtained promising initial results, indicating that the method could potentially be used in clinical practice for the assessment of temporomandibular disorders.

Image recognition is one of the key technologies for worker’s helmet detection using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). By analyzing the image feature extraction method for workers’ helmet detection based on convolutional neural network (CNN), a double-channel convolutional neural network (DCNN) model is proposed to improve the traditional image processing methods. On the basis of AlexNet model, the image features of the worker can be extracted using two independent CNNs, and the essential image features can be better reflected considering the abstraction degree of the features. Combining a traditional machine learning method and random forest (RF), an intelligent recognition algorithm based on DCNN and RF is proposed for workers’ helmet detection. The experimental results show that deep learning (DL) is closely related to the traditional machine learning methods. Moreover, adding a DL module to the traditional machine learning framework can improve the recognition accuracy.

Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures. One of which is Wayang Kulit, which has been recognized by UNESCO. Wayang kulit has a variety of names and personalities, however most younger generations are not familiar with the characters of these shadow puppets. With today's rapid technological advancements, people could use this technology to detect objects using cameras. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one method that can be used. CNN is a learning process that is included in the Deep Learning section and is used to find the best representation. The CNN is commonly used for object detection, would be used to classify good and bad characters. The data used consists of 100 black and white puppet images that were downloaded one at a time. The data was obtained through a training process that uses the CNN method and Google Colab to help speed up the training process. After that, a new model is created to test  the puppet images. The result obtained a 92 percent accuracy rate, means that CNN can differentiate the Wayang Kulit character

Sweet orange is very much consumed by humans because oranges are rich in vitamin C, sweet oranges can be consumed directly to drink. The classification carried out to determine proper (good) and unfit (rotten) oranges still uses manual methods, This classification has several weaknesses, namely the existence of human visual limitations, is influenced by the psychological condition of the observations and takes a long time. One of the classification methods for sweet orange fruit with a computerized system the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is algorithm deep learning to the development of the Multilayer Perceptron (MLP) with 100 datasets of sweet orange images, the classification accuracy rate was 97.5184%. the classification was carried out, the result was 67.8221%. Testing of 10 citrus fruit images divided into 5 good citrus images and 5 rotten citrus images at 96% for training 92% for testing which were considered to have been able to classify the appropriateness of sweet orange fruit very well. The graph of the results of the accuracy testing is 0.92 or 92%. This result is quite good, for the RGB histogram display the orange image is good

Large-scale mapping of date palm trees is vital for their consistent monitoring and sustainable management, considering their substantial commercial, environmental, and cultural value. This study presents an automatic approach for the large-scale mapping of date palm trees from very-high-spatial-resolution (VHSR) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) datasets, based on a deep learning approach. A U-Shape convolutional neural network (U-Net), based on a deep residual learning framework, was developed for the semantic segmentation of date palm trees. A comprehensive set of labeled data was established to enable the training and evaluation of the proposed segmentation model and increase its generalization capability. The performance of the proposed approach was compared with those of various state-of-the-art fully convolutional networks (FCNs) with different encoder architectures, including U-Net (based on VGG-16 backbone), pyramid scene parsing network, and two variants of DeepLab V3+. Experimental results showed that the proposed model outperformed other FCNs in the validation and testing datasets. The generalizability evaluation of the proposed approach on a comprehensive and complex testing dataset exhibited higher classification accuracy and showed that date palm trees could be automatically mapped from VHSR UAV images with an F-score, mean intersection over union, precision, and recall of 91%, 85%, 0.91, and 0.92, respectively. The proposed approach provides an efficient deep learning architecture for the automatic mapping of date palm trees from VHSR UAV-based images.

Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) is a severe retinal disease that threatens diabetic patients. It is characterized by neovascularization in the retina and the optic disk. PDR clinical features contain highly intense retinal neovascularization and fibrous spreads, leading to visual distortion if not controlled. Different image processing techniques have been proposed to detect and diagnose neovascularization from fundus images. Recently, deep learning methods are getting popular in neovascularization detection due to artificial intelligence advancement in biomedical image processing. This paper presents a semantic segmentation convolutional neural network architecture for neovascularization detection. First, image pre-processing steps were applied to enhance the fundus images. Then, the images were divided into small patches, forming a training set, a validation set, and a testing set. A semantic segmentation convolutional neural network was designed and trained to detect the neovascularization regions on the images. Finally, the network was tested using the testing set for performance evaluation. The proposed model is entirely automated in detecting and localizing neovascularization lesions, which is not possible with previously published methods. Evaluation results showed that the model could achieve accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, Jaccard similarity, and Dice similarity of 0.9948, 0.8772, 0.9976, 0.8696, 0.7643, and 0.8466, respectively. We demonstrated that this model could outperform other convolutional neural network models in neovascularization detection.
