The security travel of freight vehicles is of high societal concern and is the key issue for urban managers to effectively supervise and assess the possible social security risks. With continuous improvements in motion-based technology, the trajectories of freight vehicles are readily available, whose unusual changes may indicate hidden urban risks. Moreover, the increasing high spatial and temporal resolution of trajectories provides the opportunity for the real-time recognition of the abnormal or risky vehicle motion. However, the existing researches mainly focus on the spatial anomaly detection, and there are few researches on the real-time temporal anomaly detection. In this paper, a grid-based algorithm, which combines the spatial and temporal anomaly detection, is proposed for tracing the risk of urban freight vehicles trajectory by considering local temporal window. The travel time probability distribution of vehicle historical trajectory is analyzed to meet the time complexity requirements of real-time anomaly calculation. The developed methodology is applied to a case study in Beijing to demonstrate its accuracy and effectiveness.

With the rapid development of Internet of Things (IoT), massive sensor data are being generated by the sensors deployed everywhere at an unprecedented rate. As the number of Internet of Things devices is estimated to grow to 25 billion by 2021, when facing the explicit or implicit anomalies in the real-time sensor data collected from Internet of Things devices, it is necessary to develop an effective and efficient anomaly detection method for IoT devices. Recent advances in the edge computing have significant impacts on the solution of anomaly detection in IoT. In this study, an adaptive graph updating model is first presented, based on which a novel anomaly detection method for edge computing environment is then proposed. At the cloud center, the unknown patterns are classified by a deep leaning model, based on the classification results, the feature graphs are updated periodically, and the classification results are constantly transmitted to each edge node where a cache is employed to keep the newly emerging anomalies or normal patterns temporarily until the edge node receives a newly updated feature graph. Finally, a series of comparison experiments are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed anomaly detection method for edge computing. And the results show that the proposed method can detect the anomalies in the real-time sensor data efficiently and accurately. More than that, the proposed method performs well when there exist newly emerging patterns, no matter they are anomalous or normal.

Anomaly detection is an important research direction, which takes the real-time information system from different sensors and conditional information sources into consideration. Based on this, we can detect possible anomalies expected of the devices and components. One of the challenges is anomaly detection in multivariate-sensing time-series in this paper. Based on this situation, we propose RADM, a real-time anomaly detection algorithm based on Hierarchical Temporal Memory (HTM) and Bayesian Network (BN). First of all, we use HTM model to evaluate the real-time anomalies of each univariate-sensing time-series. Secondly, a model of anomalous state detection in multivariate-sensing time-series based on Naive Bayesian is designed to analyze the validity of the above time-series. Lastly, considering the real-time monitoring cases of the system states of terminal nodes in Cloud Platform, the effectiveness of the methodology is demonstrated using a simulated example. Extensive simulation results show that using RADM in multivariate-sensing time-series is able to detect more abnormal, and thus can remarkably improve the performance of real-time anomaly detection.

Nowadays, most vehicles are equipped with positioning devices such as GPS which can generate a tremendous amount of trajectory data and upload them to the server in real time. The trajectory data can reveal the shape and evolution of the road network and therefore has an important value for road planning, vehicle navigation, traffic analysis, and so on. In this paper, a road network generation method is proposed based on the incremental learning of vehicle trajectories. Firstly, the input vehicle trajectory data are cleaned by a preprocess module. Then, the original scattered positions are clustered and mapped to the representation points which stand for the feature points of the real roads. After that, the corresponding representation points are connected based on the original connection information of the trajectories. Finally, all representation points are connected by a Delaunay triangulation network and the real road segments are found by a shortest path searching approach between the connected representation point pairs. Experiments show that this method can build the road network from scratch and refine it with the input data continuously. Both the accuracy and timeliness of the extracted road network can continuously be improved with the growth of real-time trajectory data.

The method of anomaly detection in traditional software system cannot locate anomaly or find the lack of abnormal source accurately and timely. With regard to this deficiency, this paper presents an improved algorithm based on biological immune dendritic cell algorithm. This method aims to modify PAMP signal to achieve the purpose of locating anomaly source. It proves not only applicable to the real-time detection, but also to locate the anomaly source and processing, which further improves the accuracy of anomaly detection.

In the development of autonomous vehicles, the design of real-time motion-planning is a crucial problem. The computation of the vehicle trajectory requires the consideration of safety, dynamic and comfort aspects. Moreover, the prediction of the vehicle motion in the surroundings and the real-time planning of the autonomous vehicle trajectory can be complex tasks. The goal of this paper is to present low-complexity motion-planning for overtaking scenarios in parallel traffic. The developed method is based on the generation of a graph, which contains feasible vehicle trajectories. The reduction of the complexity in the real-time computation is achieved through the reduction of the graph with clustering. In the motion-planning algorithm, the predicted motion of the surrounding vehicles is taken into consideration. The prediction algorithm is based on density functions of the surrounding vehicle motion, which are developed through real measurements. The resulted motion-planning algorithm is able to guarantee a safe and comfortable trajectory for the autonomous vehicle. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated through simulation examples using a high-fidelity vehicle dynamic simulator.

The real-time system is now used on many fields, such as telecommunication, military, information system, evenmedical to get information quickly, on time and accurate. Needless to say, a real-time system will always considerthe performance time. In our application, we define the time target/deadline, so that the system should execute thewhole tasks under predefined deadline. However, if the system failed to finish the tasks, it will lead to fatal failure. In other words, if the system cannot be executed on time, it will affect the subsequent tasks. In this paper, wepropose a real-time system for sending data to find effectiveness and efficiency. Sending data process will beconstructed in MATLAB and sending data process has a time target as when data will send.
