In this paper, the problem of stabilization and observer design of parameter-dependent perturbed fractional-order systems is investigated. Sufficient conditions on the practical Mittag–Leffler and Mittag–Leffler stability are given based on the Lyapunov technique. Firstly, the problem of stabilization using the state feedback is developed. Secondly, under some sufficient hypotheses, an observer design which provides an estimation of the state is constructed. Finally, numerical examples are provided to validate the contributed results.

This paper studies the stability and the stabilization for a class of uncertain fractional order (FO) systems subject to input saturation. The Lipschitz condition and the Gronwall–Bellman lemma are adopted and sufficient conditions are derived to stabilize systems by designing a state feedback controller. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper is devoted to the admissibility issue of singular fractional order systems with order α ∈ ( 0 , 1 ) based on complex variables. Firstly, with regard to admissibility, necessary and sufficient conditions are obtained by strict LMI in complex plane. Then, an observer-based controller is designed to ensure system admissible. Finally, numerical examples are given to reveal the validity of the theoretical conclusions.

The estimate of Mittag-Leffler function has been widely applied in the dynamic analysis of fractional-order systems in some recently published papers. In this paper, we show that the estimate for Mittag-Leffler function is not correct. First, we point out the mistakes made in the estimation process of Mittag-Leffler function and provide a counterexample. Then, we propose some sufficient conditions to guarantee that part of the estimate for Mittag-Leffler function is correct. Meanwhile, numerical examples are given to illustrate the validity of the two newly established estimates.

Consensus of fractional-order singular multiagent systems is considered in this article. The model of uncertain systems with actuator fault is established, and its admissible consensus in the field of fractional-order systems is studied. First, the uncertain singular multiagent systems with actuator fault are proposed. Then, a state feedback controller and a state consensus protocol with an observer based on output information are designed. Then, new consensus criteria of uncertain fractional-order singular multiagent systems are proposed. Finally, for the sake of demonstrating the validity of proposed results, some relevant numerical examples are provided.

In this article, a Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model is applied to deal with the problem of observer-based control design for nonlinear time-delayed systems with fractional-order [Formula: see text]. By applying the Lyapunov–Krasovskii method, a fuzzy observer–based controller is established to stabilize the time-delayed fractional-order Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model. Also, the problem of disturbance rejection for the addressed systems is studied via the state-feedback method in the form of a parallel distributed compensation approach. Furthermore, sufficient conditions for the existence of state-feedback gains and observer gains are achieved in the terms of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, two numerical examples are simulated for the validation of the presented methods.

This paper is concerned with the stability of nonlinear fractional-order time varying systems with Caputo derivative. By using Laplace transform, Mittag-Leffler function, and the Gronwall inequality, the sufficient condition that ensures local stability of fractional-order systems with fractional order α : 0<α≤1 and 1<α<2 is proposed, respectively. Moreover, the condition of the stability of fractional-order systems with a state-feedback controller is been put forward. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.
