In order to explore the changes of intestinal flora and serum levels of relevant substances in patients with gastric cancer before and after surgery with carbon nanoparticle laparoscopy, a total of 180 patients with early distal gastric cancer who adopted laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer in the general surgery department of TCM Hospital of Shi Jia Zhuang City from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected and randomly divided into two groups: traditional laparoscopic operation (control group) and carbon nanoparticle laparoscopic operation (experimental group) were adopted for treatment for the two groups, respectively. Postoperative evaluation included the difference between the two groups in the operative time, the efficiency of intraoperative lymph node dissection, and the number of lymph node detection. The adverse reactions, changes of intestinal flora before and after surgery in the two groups, and the serum levels of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), interleukin-32 (IL-32), and gastrin 17 were evaluated. In the experimental group, the success rate of carbon nanoparticle tracer black staining reached 100%, and the operation time of the experimental group was significantly shorter than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The lymph node detection rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group ( P < 0.05 ), but there was no significant difference in the lymph node metastasis rate between the two groups ( P > 0.05 ). The sentinel lymph node sensitivity of the experimental group reached 92.3%, and the specificity, accuracy, and positive and negative prediction rates reached 100%; the experimental group patients were with an obviously higher incidence of level I-II gastrointestinal reaction ( P < 0.05 ). Postoperative increases in Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus were observed in both groups, while decreases in Enterococcus and Escherichia coli were observed in both groups ( P < 0.05 ). Moreover, the degree of increase and decrease in the experimental group was greater than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The serum levels of EGFR, IL-32, and gastrin 17 in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group on 3 d, 7 d, and 15 d after surgery ( P < 0.05 ). In the radical gastrectomy for distal gastric cancer, carbon nanoparticle laparoscopy was not only helpful for the localization of small tumors but also for the thorough dissection of lymph nodes after the surgery, and the postoperative adverse reactions of carbon nanoparticle laparoscopy were also less, which was of great significance for the improvement of intestinal flora and the reduction of serum levels of EGFR, IL-32, and gastrin 17 in gastric cancer patients.

Abstract Objective. To investigate the application of carbon nanoparticles in lymph node dissection and parathyroid gland protection during thyroid cancer surgery. Subjects and Methods. Retrospective analysis was performed on 282 cases of thyroid cancer surgery in our hospital from 2018 to 2019. All patients underwent total thyroidectomy and cervical central lymph node dissection. Nanocarbon was not used in the control group, but was used in the experimental group. The general situation of the patients, the number of postoperative lymph nodes and the number of metastasis were collected, and the differences between serum parathyroid hormone and blood calcium were compared before and on the 3rd and 30th day after surgery. Results. There was no difference in age, sex and TNM stage between the two groups (P > 0.05). The number of metastatic lymph nodes in the experimental group (9.80 ± 4.80) was different from that in the control group (6.95 ± 3.86) (P < 0.05), and the number of metastatic lymph nodes in the experimental group was different from that in the control group (χ2 = 14.968, P < 0.05). There was no difference in blood calcium and PTH between the two groups before and at 3 and 30 days after surgery (P > 0. 05). Conclusion. The application of carbon nanoparticles in thyroid cancer surgery can significantly increase the number of lymph nodes seized and the positive rate of metastatic lymph node removal, but the protection of parathyroid gland is not obvious.

To analyze and explore the relationship between lactase activity and the structure of intestinal flora in infants under 1 year old. Method: Our hospital selected 60 infants and young children in the Haizhu Maternity and Child Health Hospital from August 2019 to September 2020 as the research objects. The infants in the experimental group were diagnosed as lactose intolerant infants, the control group were normal infants, and the experimental group and control group had 30 cases each. The relationship between lactase activity and intestinal flora structure. Result: The experimental group had fewer beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract than the control group, but improved lactase activity by correcting the structure of the intestinal flora and alleviating symptoms of lactose intolerance. Conclusion: Infants and young children are prone to non-infectious diarrhea, and the causes are more complicated, but most of them are related to lactose intolerance. When infants and young children develop lactose intolerance, it is necessary to pay attention to the lack of beneficial bacteria in the intestinal tract. Targeted supplementation of probiotics (such as Lactobacillus reuteri, Clostridium butyricum, etc.) can correct the intestinal flora, improve lactase activity, and relieve symptoms of lactose intolerance.

Abstract To study the mechanism of Tim-3 on immune escape in benzene-induced acute myeloid leukemia (AML), to provide potential targets of clinical monitoring and intervention of hematological toxicity in benzene-induced AML . C3H/He mice were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. Serum levels of IL-12 in the experimental group were significantly lower than that in the control group. Serum levels of TGF-β1 in the experimental group were significantly higher than that in the control group( p <0.05). The proportion of Tim-3 positive CD14 + monocytes of bone marrow and spleen in the experimental group were both significantly higher than that in the control group ( p <0.05) by Flow cytometry (FCM). Compared with the control group, the expression of Tim-3 on (M1+M2) macrophages of bone marrow in the experimental group significantly increased by immunofluorescence assay. The expression of type M2 macrophages in (M1+M2) macrophages of bone marrow and spleen tissues in the experimental group were both higher than that in the control group. The expression levels of p-PI3K, p-AKT and p-mTOR in the experimental group were all significantly higher than that in the control group. Tim-3 was highly expressed in macrophages in benzene-induced AML. It promoted the activation of PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, stimulated the secretion of anti-inflammatory cytokines, and inhibited the secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines. High expression of Tim-3 changed the phenotype and function of macrophages by promoting the macrophages polarization, thus inducing negative immune response in the tumor microenvironment and tumor immune escape.

Objective: To evaluate the growth of olfactory ensheathing cells (OECs) on the silk fibroin (SF) nanofibers scaffold. Methods: The purified OECs were cultured with poly-L-lysine (control group) and 1200 nm SF nanofibers (experimental group). The morphological features and growth characteristics of which were analyzed by phase contrast microscopy. Nerve growth factor receptor (NGFR) p75 were applied to identify OECs by immunostaining. SEM was used to observe the adherence and spreading of OECs on different substrates. MTT assay was performed to evaluate the proliferation activity of OECs both on the control and experimental scaffolds. Results: The isolated OECs reached confluence after 4-5 days of culture, which were stained for antibody NGFRp75(+). The morphology of OECs on the 1200 nm SF nanofibers was similar to that on the control group. The SEM clearly revealed the close interaction between the OECs and the nanofbers. The OECs on SF nanofibers still maintain its original characteristic phenotypes. The MTT showed that the most obvious proliferation was reached over 10 days. The differences of OD values between 1200 nm SF and PLL were significant at day 5, 7 (p < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference at day 10. Conclusion: SF nanofibers scaffold could support the growth of OECs, and may be a promising tissue-engineered scaffold for the repair of SCI.

Probiotics are a group of active microorganisms, which benefit the host by colonizing and changing the composition of host flora. It is of great significance to promote the development of human gastrointestinal nutrition and health by regulating the host mucosal and systemic immune function or regulating the balance of intestinal flora. The purpose of this study is to analyze the production activity of the enzyme, evaluate its biological characteristics and safety as a preventive drug, and provide reference for the research of enzyme production and compound enzyme preparation by probiotics. In this study, four groups of probiotics were set up: Clostridium butyricum experimental group, Lactobacillus plantarum experimental group, drinking water control group, and Bacillus licheniformis experimental group. In addition, a variety of complex enzyme experiments were set up to study the influence on the digestive tract and single factor experiment. The results showed that probiotics and compound enzyme preparations could significantly promote the intestinal digestibility. Under the effect of probiotics, the weight of the chicken was almost 1 Jin heavier than that of the control group, and the average digestibility was increased by 4.3%. The effect of the enzyme on digestibility is stronger than that of probiotics, but the final effect tends to be stable.

117 Background: Autologous, tumor-derived heat shock protein Gp96 peptides complexes have shown antitumor potential in various cancers. We conducted the first Phase II trial to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Gp96 vaccination in adjuvant settings for patients with gastric cancer. Methods: Consecutive patients from November 2012 to December 2015 were enrolled. Participants were allocated to the experimental group or control group, receiving Gp96 vaccination plus chemotherapy or chemotherapy alone respectively. The primary endpoints were disease-free survival and toxicity. The secondary outcomes were overall survival and tumor-specific immune responses. Results: Thirty-nine and forty patients received Gp96 vaccination plus chemotherapy and chemotherapy alone in the adjuvant settings respectively. Significant increased tumor-specific immune responses were observed after Gp96 vaccination. There were comparable disease-free survival ( p = 0.413; HR: 0.75; 95% CI: 0.37−1.48) and overall survival ( p = 0.485; HR: 0.68; 95% CI: 0.24−1.96) between experimental group and control group. In subgroup of patients with stage II and stage III gastric cancer, patients who have received Gp96 vaccination had improved disease-free survival compared those who have not ( p = 0.044; HR: 0.45; 95% CI: 0.22−0.96). Gp96 vaccination plus chemotherapy was well tolerated and no Gp96-related serious adverse event has been observed. Conclusions: Gp96 vaccination could elicit tumor-specific immune responses and could be safely used in adjuvant settings combined with chemotherapy. Patients with less aggressive diseases might benefit from Gp96 therapy.

Abstract The studies involved gilts 6 weeks pre-partum allocated into the control and experimental groups. The experimental group received vitamin C at the dose of 2.5g/100 kg b.w./day. Faeces for analyses were collected for 3- and 6- week period of vitamin C dietary inclusion. The faecal material underwent quantitative and qualitative bacteriological evaluation. The count of Enterobacteriaceae was evaluated. The qualitative examination of these bacteria was made using the micro-plate method API 20E. Feed supplemented with vitamin C contributed to a statistically significant decline of the total bacterial count of Enterobacteriaceae in faeces. The qualitative bacterial analyses showed the presence of E. coli, Providecia sp., Proteus sp., and Salmonella sp. in the control and experimental groups. Enterobacter sp. was recovered only in the control group, while Lactobacillus sp. in the experimental group. The dietary administration of vitamin C significantly decreased the number of the studied bacterial species, except Salmonella rods. No statistically significant differences in the number of most blood morphotic elements following the 6- week supply of vitamin C were found; only the granulocyte count significantly increased, while lymphocyte numbers declined. Ascorbic acid inhibited the growth of pathogenic intestinal flora and reduced the pathogenic and relatively pathogenic bacteria count in the gastrointestinal tract and notably contributed to enhanced growth of beneficial bacteria.

Objective. To explore the clinical efficacy of combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance for gastric cancer patients and nursing strategy. Methods. The clinical data of 100 patients undergoing radical gastrectomy in our hospital from July 2019 to July 2020 were selected for the retrospective analysis, and the patients were divided into the control group and experimental group according to different treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. Early chemotherapy after surgery was given to patients in the control group, and on the basis of the aforesaid treatment and under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, patients in the experimental group took Zhipu Liujunzi decoction and received the nursing strategy, so as to compare their effective rate, adverse reaction rate (ARR), immune function indicators, KPS scores, and nursing satisfaction scores. Results. After treatment, the experimental group obtained significantly higher objective remission rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) ( P < 0.05 ), lower carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) levels ( P < 0.001 ), higher immune parameters levels ( P < 0.001 ), higher KPS scores and lower TCM symptom scores ( P < 0.001 ), lower PSQI scores, SAS scores, and SDS scores ( P < 0.001 ) and higher nursing satisfaction scores ( P < 0.001 ), and lower total accidence rate of toxic side effects ( P < 0.05 ) than the control group. Conclusion. Under the concept of strengthening and consolidating body resistance, combining early chemotherapy with Zhipu Liujunzi decoction is a reliable method for improving the immune function and quality of life for gastric cancer patients with higher safety. Such a strategy greatly reduces the tumor marker levels in patients. Further research will be conducive to establishing a better solution for gastric cancer patients.

This study was to analyze the diagnostic value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) for gastric cancer (GC) lesions and the treatment effect of complete laparoscopic radical resection (CLSRR). A malignant tumor recognition algorithm was constructed in this study based on the backprojection (BP) and support vector machine (SVM), which was named BPS. 78 GC patients were divided into an experimental group (received CLSRR) and a control group (received assisted laparoscopic radical resection (ALSRR)), with 39 cases in each group. It was found that the BPS algorithm showed lower relative mean square error (MSE) in axle x (OMSE, x) and axle y (OMSE, x), but the classification accuracy (CA) was the opposite ( P < 0.05 ). The postoperative hospital stay, analgesia duration, first exhaust time (FET), and first off-bed activity time (FOBA) for patients in the experimental group were less ( P < 0.05 ). The operation time of the experimental group (270.56 ± 90.55 min) was significantly longer than that of the control group (228.07 ± 75.26 min) ( P < 0.05 ). There were 3 cases of anastomotic fistula, 1 case of acute peritonitis, and 2 cases of lung infections in the experimental group, which were greatly less than those in the control group (7 cases, 4 cases, and 3 cases) ( P < 0.05 ). In short, the BPS algorithm was superior in processing MRI images and could improve the diagnostic effect of MRI images. The CLSRR could reduce the length of hospital stay and the probability of complications in GC patients, so it could be used as a surgical plan for the clinical treatment of advanced GC.
