The aim of this paper is to propose the generalized version of the multipolar neutrosophic soft set with operations and basic properties. Here, we define the AND, OR, Truth-Favorite, and False-Favorite operators along with their properties. Also, we define the necessity and possibility of operations for them. Later on, to extend it to solve the decision-making problems, we define some information measures such as distance, similarity, and correlation coefficient for the generalized multipolar neutrosophic soft set. Several desirable properties and their relationship between them are derived. Finally, based on these information measures, a decision-making algorithm is stated under the neutrosophic environment to tackle the uncertain and vague information. The applicability of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated through a case study of the medical-diagnosis and the decision-making problems. A comparative analysis with several existing studies reveals the effectiveness of the approach.

Molodtsov has introduced the concept of soft sets and the application of soft sets in decision making and medical diagnosis problems. The basic properties of vague soft sets are presented. In this paper, we introduce the concept of interval-valued vague soft sets which are an extension of the soft set and its operations such as equality, subset, intersection, union, AND operation, OR operation, complement, and null while further studying some properties. We give examples for these concepts, and we give a number of applications on interval-valued vague soft sets.

In this chapter the notions of two hybrid soft sets, namely fuzzy parameterized soft sets and vague soft sets has been discussed and some operations on them are defined. Some properties of these two hybrid soft sets under these operations are also studied. Application of fuzzy parameterized soft sets and vague soft sets in decision making has also been shown. Then the notion of similarity measure between two hybrid soft sets has been introduced and their basic properties are studied. Applications of these similarity measures in various problems like medical diagnosis and decision making have been shown. The idea of entropy of a fuzzy parameterized soft set has been introduced.

We introduce the concept of generalised interval-valued fuzzy soft set and its operations and study some of their properties. We give applications of this theory in solving a decision making problem. We also introduce a similarity measure of two generalised interval-valued fuzzy soft sets and discuss its application in a medical diagnosis problem: fuzzy set; soft set; fuzzy soft set; generalised fuzzy soft set; generalised interval-valued fuzzy soft set; interval-valued fuzzy set; interval-valued fuzzy soft set.

In 1999 Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft set theory as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. Alkhazaleh et al. in 2011 introduced the definition of a soft multiset as a generalization of Molodtsov's soft set. In this paper we give the definition of fuzzy soft multiset as a combination of soft multiset and fuzzy set and study its properties and operations. We give examples for these concepts. Basic properties of the operations are also given. An application of this theory in decision-making problems is shown.

Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) requires collaborative management in the pediatric health care setting. Because of the nature of the medical diagnoses, BPD can be viewed by nurses using selected nursing diagnoses. With the pediatric client, nursing diagnoses can assist the nurse to identify system alterations, and thereby address nursing interventions most appropriate for the child. Nursing interventions are based on collaborative decision making using both medical and nursing diagnoses. This case study will identify selected nursing diagnoses useful in the care of the child with BPD and nursing interventions used to treat frequently occurring health problems

Molodtsov [Soft set theory-first results, Comput. Math. App. 37 (1999) 19–31] proposed the concept of soft set theory in 1999, which can be used as a mathematical tool for dealing with problems that contain uncertainty. Shabir and Naz [On bipolar soft sets, preprint (2013), arXiv:1303.1344v1 [math.LO]] defined notion of bipolar soft set in 2013. In this paper, we redefine concept of bipolar soft set and bipolar soft set operations as more functional than Shabir and Naz’s definition and operations. Also we study on their basic properties and we present a decision making method with application.

In 1999, Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft set theory as a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty. Many researchers have studied this theory, and they created some models to solve problems in decision making and medical diagnosis, but most of these models deal only with one expert. This causes a problem with the user, especially with those who use questionnaires in their work and studies. In our model, the user can know the opinion of all experts in one model. So, in this paper, we introduce the concept of a soft expert set, which will more effective and useful. We also define its basic operations, namely, complement, union intersection AND, and OR. Finally, we show an application of this concept in decision-making problem.
