In this paper, we study a nonlinear implicit differential equation with initial conditions. The considered problem involves the fractional Caputo derivatives under some conditions on the order. We prove an existence and uniqueness analytic result by application of Banach principle. Then, another result that deals with the existence of at least one solution is delivered and some sufficient conditions for this result are established by means of the fixed point theorem of Schaefer. At the end, we discuss two examples to illustrate the applicability of the main results.

In this paper, we study a Volterra–Fredholm integro-differential equation. The considered problem involves the fractional Caputo derivatives under some conditions on the order. We prove an existence and uniqueness analytic result by application of the Banach principle. Then, another result that deals with the existence of at least one solution is delivered, and some sufficient conditions for this result are established by means of the fixed point theorem of Schaefer. Ulam stability of the solution is discussed before including an example to illustrate the results of the proposal.

AbstractIn this paper, we combine the Riemann-Liouville integral operator and Caputo derivative to investigate a nonlinear time-singular differential equation of Lane Emden type. The considered problem involves n fractional Caputo derivatives under the conditions that neither commutativity nor semi group property is satisfied for these derivatives. We prove an existence and uniqueness analytic result by application of Banach contraction principle. Then, another result that deals with the existence of at least one solution is delivered and some sufficient conditions related to this result are established by means of the fixed point theorem of Schaefer. We end the paper by presenting to the reader some illustrative examples.

Abstract The objective of this work is to show a new kind of mean-field anticipated backward stochastic differential equation (in short MF-ABSDE) driven by time-changed Lévy noises. We give two methods to prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution of those equations by the fixed point theorem and the Picard iterative sequence. Finally, we obtain a comparison theorem for the solutions.

By using the fixed point theorem on cone, some sufficient conditions are obtained on the existence of positive periodic solutions for a class ofn-species competition systems with impulses. Meanwhile, we point out that the conclusion of (Yan, 2009) is incorrect.

We are concerned with the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for the following nonlinear perturbed fractional two-point boundary value problem:D0+αu(t)+f(t,u,u',…,u(n-2))+g(t)=0, 0<t<1, n-1<α≤n, n≥2,u(0)=u'(0)=⋯=u(n-2)(0)=u(n-2)(1)=0, whereD0+αis the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative. Our analysis relies on a fixed-point theorem of generalized concave operators. An example is given to illustrate the main result.

We discuss the existence and uniqueness of solution to nonlinear fractional order ordinary differential equations(Dα-ρtDβ)x(t)=f(t,x(t),Dγx(t)),t∈(0,1)with boundary conditionsx(0)=x0,  x(1)=x1or satisfying the initial conditionsx(0)=0,  x′(0)=1, whereDαdenotes Caputo fractional derivative,ρis constant,1<α<2,and0<β+γ≤α. Schauder's fixed-point theorem was used to establish the existence of the solution. Banach contraction principle was used to show the uniqueness of the solution under certain conditions onf.

Abstract In this thesis, we investigate a kind of impulsive fractional order differential systems involving control terms. By using a class of φ-concave-convex mixed monotone operator fixed point theorem, we obtain a theorem on the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for the impulsive fractional differential equation, and the optimal control problem of positive solutions is also studied. As applications, an example is offered to illustrate our main results.

AbstractThis paper is devoted to a system of nonlinear impulsive differential equations with three-point boundary conditions. The Green function is constructed and considered original problem is reduced to the equivalent impulsive integral equations. Sufficient conditions are found for the existence and uniqueness of solutions for the boundary value problems for the first order nonlinear system of the impulsive ordinary differential equations with three-point boundary conditions. The Banach fixed point theorem is used to prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution of the problem and Schaefer’s fixed point theorem is used to prove the existence of a solution of the problem under consideration. We illustrate the application of the main results by two examples.

The main purpose of this paper is to study the existence, uniqueness, Ea-Ulam stability results, and other properties of solutions for certain classes of nonlinear fractional differential equations involving the ps-Caputo derivative with initial conditions. Modern tools of functional analysis are applied to obtain the main results. More precisely using Weissinger's fixed point theorem and Schaefer's fixed point theorem the existence and uniqueness results of solutions are proven in the bounded domain. While the well known Banach fixed point theorem coupled with Bielecki type norm are used with the end goal to establish sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness results on unbounded domains. Meanwhile, the monotone iterative technique combined with the method of upper and lower solutions is used to prove the existence and uniqueness of extremal solutions. Furthermore, by means of new generalizations of Gronwall's inequality, different kinds of Ea-Ulam stability of the proposed problem are studied. Finally, as applications of the theoretical results, some examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and correctness of the main results.
