The high operation cost of green building, insufficient informationization and automation management capability, and the lack of effective operation cost control seriously restrict the development of the industry and the realization of green goals. In order to solve the problem of insufficient capability of green building operation cost management, based on the digital twin technology in the manufacturing field, we analyze the characteristic requirements and theoretical basis of green building operation cost management for system, propose a green building operation cost management system based on digital twin, and refine the design of each structural layer of this system. It is necessary to set up a series of lines, although it takes a certain amount of time. There are four types of applications, namely, the number of types of applications, the completion of the effective number, the comparison of functions, and the implementation capabilities. The study shows that the proposed system framework can improve the efficiency and quality of green building operation cost management through technology upgrade and process optimization. The implementation of digital twin and human-machine collaboration is an advanced stage in the development of digital architecture because virtual things and real things, materials, and numbers are mutually promoting processes. The inspiration of this technological view for architecture is that digital twin and human-machine collaboration not only allow the interaction between virtual and reality and emphasize the feedback of actual construction to virtual simulation but also promote a kind of mutual promotion of human and machine thinking and construction ability.

The authors raise a question of the necessity of urgent introduction of the principles of green building design into the practice. It is emphasized that such a necessity is dictated by the dangerous degradation processes occurring in the biosphere and society. In the given report the questions of social purpose and function of architectural activity are raised, as well as of the development of the sociology of architecture as an essential field of scientific research for providing the quality of design solutions.Green building technologies are widely spread in Europe, USA and in the Korea, China. Green building and sustainable building technologies have converted into a regular construction and building operation practice, whose mission is to reduce consumption of power and other material resources and to preserve or improve the quality of buildings and their comfort. The most reputable green building standards include LEED in the USA and BREAM in Great Britain. A discussion of local green standards, that will take account of the climate, landscape, and the lifestyle of residents, is underway in Russia. Principles of the ecologically sustainable design are being introduced into the architectural practice.

Green buildings refer to buildings that decrease adverse environmental effects and maintain natural resources. They can diminish energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, the usage of non-renewable materials, water consumption, and waste generation while improving occupants’ health and well-being. As such, several rating tools and benchmarks have been developed worldwide to assess green building performance (GBP), including the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) in the United Kingdom, German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) in the United States and Canada, Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency (CASBEE) in Japan, Green Star in Australia, Green Mark in Singapore, and Green Building Index in Malaysia. Energy management (EM) during building operation could also improve GBP. One of the best approaches to evaluating the impact of EM on GBP is by using structural equation modelling (SEM). SEM is a commanding statistical method to model testing. One of the most used SEM variance-based approaches is partial least squares (PLS), which can be implemented in the SmartPLS application. PLS-SEM uses path coefficients to determine the strength and significance of the hypothesised relationships between the latent constructs.

There are six basic control items, land saving, energy saving, water saving, material saving, indoor environment and operation, among which, only material saving are related to structure design. We followed the green building design concept and the control items list in those standards during structure design of one of the residential area in Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, which consist of 15~18-story residential building connected to a large underground garage, as is shown below.

TOD is designed for public transport passengers and pedestrians to provide comfort and safety in creating a healthy lifestyle. Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI) is needed as a reference and assessment to optimize building design. The purpose of this paper is to determine the extent of the green building concept applied, calculate the met and unmet Greenship criteria, also measure the GBCI Greenship predicate obtained. The data collection method used is project data and data analysis with the index scale method on Greenship New Building version 1.2. The results showed that in Appropriate Land Use categories credit are 11 points of 17 maximum points with percentage 64,71%, the Efficiency and Energy Conservation categories credit is 1 point of 26 maximum points with percentage 3,85%, the Water Conservation categories credit are 9 points of 21 maximum points with percentage 42,86%, the Source and Material Cycle categories credit are 2 points of 2 maximum points with percentage 100%, the Health and Safety Space categories credit are 4 points of 5 maximum points with percentage 80%, and the Building Environmental Management categories credit are 4 points of 6 maximum points with percentage 66,67%. The final results of TOD Pondok Cina Project are 31 points of 77 maximum points with percentage 40,26% which categorized as Building with Bronze predicate.

Universities spend billions of dollars on green buildings as a sustainability commitment. This research investigates occupant satisfaction with indoor environmental quality (IEQ), building design (BD), and facilities management (FM) in five highly ranked green higher educational buildings in the subtropical climate of Australia, in comparison to nine non-green counterparts. The results disclose that the green building users were more consistently satisfied than the non-green building users with BD&FM elements, such as design, needs from facilities, building image, cleaning, the availability of meeting rooms, and storage. On the other hand, the study revealed weaknesses of green buildings in IEQ, such as noise, ventilation, and artificial lighting. The individual environmental control positively correlated with satisfaction in non-green buildings, but did not significantly affect satisfaction in green buildings. This study also identified the influences of non-environmental factors on occupant satisfaction, such as gender, age, sitting close to a window, hours spent in the building and in the workstation, and the number of people sharing office space. The research provides evidence and guidance for investing in, designing, and managing green educational facilities.

As the wave of sustainability is sweeping across the major countries and cities of the world, the effect of the inevitable change is finding its way through to the health sector as well. Since the main functions of the hospital include healing the patient, it aims to provide adequate health services to people. Hospitals managers should strive to realize facilities that meet a certain level of demand. This study aims to present the interior environmental quality (IEQ) of bedrooms in Jordanian hospitals and propose a solution to improve indoor environment quality using sustainable design principles. A qualitative research methodology is used in this study. A comparative analysis is made between the original set up of the hospital buildings and the present conditions in which they are in. During the research, it was found that the design to be applied for a hospital should be following the healing environmental characteristics. Besides, the design of hospitals should be made with the climatic conditions of the area in mind. In the advanced countries of the world, hospitals are generally built with extensive research and important factors such as temperature, wind direction and humidity are taken into consideration. The design for a hospital building should be assessed according to the German Green Building Assessment (DGNB) criteria. It has been found that the one-bedroom is ideal for patients because it provides the necessary privacy and also greatly reduces the spread of the disease. In hygienic practices, there should be a first-class healing environment with evidence-based medical research. It was concluded that the practices involving the use of sustainable designs can be followed with the hints received from hospitals in the advanced countries of the world. Abstract Green concepts are important things to apply on buildings. The application of the green concept on mixed-use buildings must consider several criteria, one of which is the comfort aspect. The density of commercial buildings in Medan City causes a reduction in green open space, and even many buildings do not comply with the minimum green open space requirements on their buildings, which can support the development of this city to reduce environmental temperatures. The aim of this study is to analyze the green concept that can be applied to mixed-use buildings in urban areas. A mixed-use building design with the application of green building principles is the right choice to reduce the effects of climate. The green building concept can help reduce excess heat radiation inside and outside the building. The method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation. The analysis was carried out descriptively to obtain a mixed-use building model with the green building concept. The results show that land use efficiency, energy conservation, materials and water conservation can be applied to provide comfortable on buildings.
