In the current manuscript, two fixed-point theorems for Dass-Gupta and Gupta-Saxena rational interpolative-type operators are studied in the setting of metric spaces. For the authenticity of the presented work, examples and applications to the existence of a solution to the Caputo-Fabrizio fractional derivative and Caputo-Fabrizio fractal-fractional derivative are also discussed.

In the current manuscript, the notion of a cone b 2 -metric space over Banach’s algebra with parameter b ≻ ¯ e is introduced. Furthermore, using α -admissible Hardy-Rogers’ contractive conditions, we have proven fixed-point theorems for self-mappings, which generalize and strengthen many of the conclusions in existing literature. In order to verify our key result, a nontrivial example is given, and as an application, we proved a theorem that shows the existence of a solution of an infinite system of integral equations.

In this paper we give some common fixed point theorems for Ćirić type operators in complex valued b-metric spaces. Also, some corollaries under this contraction condition are obtained. Our results extend and generalize the results of Hammad et al. In the second part of the paper, in order to strengthen our main results, an illustrative example and some applications are given.

In this paper, we establish some new fixed point theorems for generalized ϕ–ψ-contractive mappings satisfying an admissibility-type condition in a Hausdorff rectangular metric space with the help of C-functions. In this process, we rectify the proof of Theorem 3.2 due to Budhia et al. [New fixed point results in rectangular metric space and application to fractional calculus, Tbil. Math. J., 10(1):91–104, 2017]. Some examples are given to illustrate the theorems. Finally, we apply our result (Corollary 3.6) to establish the existence of a solution for an initial value problem of a fractional-order functional differential equation with infinite delay.

Abstract Altun et al. explored the existence of fixed points for multivalued F F -contractions and proved some fixed point theorems in complete metric spaces. This paper extended the results of Altun et al. in partial metric spaces and proved fixed point theorems for multivalued F F -contraction mappings. Some illustrative examples are provided to support our results. Moreover, an application for the existence of a solution of an integral equation is also enunciated, showing the materiality of the obtained results.

This article is focused on the generalization of some fixed point theorems with Kannan-type contractions in the setting of new extended b -metric spaces. An idea of asymptotic regularity has been incorporated to achieve the new results. As an application, the existence of a solution of the Fredholm-type integral equation is presented.

The aim of this paper is to introduce the notions of ?-(F,H)-(?,?) and ?-(F,H)-(?,?) contractions and present several coupled fixed point theorems for this type of contractions in the set of ordered metric spaces. Several examples are offered to illustrate the validity of the obtained results. As an application, the existence of a solution of Fredholm nonlinear integral equations are also investigated.
