Two fixed point theorems for multivalued contractive mappings involving w-distance and inequalities of integral type are proved. Our results generalize a few results in the literature. Two illustrative examples are given.

This paper aims to analyze the existence of fixed points for mappings defined on complete metric spaces satisfying almost contractive conditions and a general contractive inequality of integral type. The existence of a fixed point is ensured by hypotheses formulated in terms of equivalent metric spaces.

AbstractIn this paper, we give some common fixed point theorems for a class of occasionally weakly compatible mappings satisfying contractive conditions of integral type. Our results generalize a host of previously theorems. We also present some illustrative examples which support our main results and show the applicability and validity of these results.

We obtain sufficient conditions for existence of fixed points of integral type contractive mappings on an S^{JS}- metric spaces. We also study common fixed point and couple fixed point of integral type mappings and construct examples to support our results.

We obtain some new common fixed point theorems satisfying a weak contractive condition in the framework of partially ordered metric spaces. The main result generalizes and extends some known results given by some authors in the literature.

We introduce the notion of weaker(ϕ,φ)-contractive mapping in complete metric spaces and prove the periodic points and fixed points for this type of contraction. Our results generalize or improve many recent fixed point theorems in the literature.

In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized L-contractions which enlarge the class of ℒ-contractions initiated by Cho in 2018. Thereafter, we also, define the notion of L∗-contractions. Utilizing our newly introduced notions, we establish some new fixed-point theorems in the setting of complete Branciari’s metric spaces, without using the Hausdorff assumption. Moreover, some examples and applications to boundary value problems of the fourth-order differential equations are given to exhibit the utility of the obtained results.

We introduce the notion of cyclic generalized ?-contractive mappings in b-metric spaces and discuss the existence and uniqueness of fixed points for such mappings. Our results generalize many existing fixed point theorems in the literature. Examples are given to support the usability of our results. Finally, an application to existence problem for an integral equation is presented.

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to prove a general fixed point theorem for mappings involving almost altering distances and satisfying a new type of common limit range property in Gpmetric spaces. In the last part of the paper, some fixed point results for mappings satisfying contractive conditions of integral type and for ⱷ-contractive mappings are obtained.
