According to the advantages of high tensile resistance and high shear strength of composite steel plate, a new antiexplosion protection method of composite steel plate lining structure is put forward. The numerical model of explosion impact of subway tunnel with composite steel plate lining structure was established by dynamic analysis software. The transient dynamic response of lining structure with the composite steel plate was simulated when explosion occurred. The research results show that the influence of explosive quantity on each point of composite steel plate lining structure is different and the change of acceleration near the centre of the detonation source is generally greater than the multiple of the increase of explosive quantity. The increase of velocity and displacement is basically consistent with the quantity of explosive. The influence of axial stress on the lining structure is the least, and the influence of the lining structure is greater in the y-direction than in the x-direction. The research results can provide the plan and basis for the emergency response of the subway tunnel.

Considering the background of vibration engineering of lining structure of subway tunnel with primary defects under moving train loading, and according to the measured information of a dynamic loading spectrum of subway in Beijing, dynamic response of the lining structure with differently primary defects caused by neighboring tunnel construction has been investigated for different cases including one-way and two-way trains in this paper. The results show that the curves of dynamic time history analysis are similar with each other for displacement and stress under different cases with differently primary defects. The peak value of displacement and stress under the case of two-way train is much larger than that under the case of one-way train, and the structure primarily depends on tensile strength of concrete in safety. Under the case of one-way train with primary defects would there be no defect by vibration loads.

Four scaled one-storey single-bay steel plate shear wall (SPSW) specimens with unstiffened panels were tested to determine their behaviour under cyclic loadings. The shear walls had moment-resisting beam-to-column connections. Four different vertical loads, i.e., 300 kN, 600 kN, 900 kN, and 1200 kN, representing the gravity load of the upper storeys were applied at the top of the boundary columns through a force distribution beam. A horizontal cyclic load was then applied at the top of the specimens. The specimen behaviour, envelope curves, axial stress distribution of the infill steel plate, and shear capacity were analyzed. The axial stress distribution and envelope curves were compared with the values predicted using an analytical model available in the literature.

PurposeThis paper aims to evaluate the dynamic response of surrounding foundation and study the vibration characteristics of track system.Design/methodology/approachA double-line underground coupling analysis model was established, which included two moving train, track, liner and the ground field.FindingsBased on the 2.5D (D is diameter) finite element analysis, the influence of the important factors such as the depth of the subway tunnel, the nature of the foundation soil, the relative position relation of the double tunnel, the subway driving speed on the foundation and the orbital vibration are analyzed in this article.Originality/valueThe results in paper may have reference value for the prediction of train induced vibrations and for the research of dynamic response of ground field.

The author puts forward a new insulation cross arm, uses the insulation and high strength composite materials (FRP), to replace the steel applied to the RPC pole cross arm, this not only has a full bar maintenance-free features, and can shorten transmission corridor again, for the construction of resource intensive transmission lines has important practical significance. In addition, this paper uses finite element analysis software ANSYS, considering the influence of fluctuating wind, in the modal analysis and dynamic response illustrates the actuality of cross arm application of composite materials.
