How to aggregate decision information in heterogeneous multiattribute group decision making (HMAGDM) is vital. The aim of this paper is to develop an approach to aggregating decision data into intuitionistic triangular fuzzy numbers (ITFNs) for heterogeneous MAGDM problems with real numbers (RNs), interval numbers (INs), triangular fuzzy numbers (TFNs), trapezoidal fuzzy numbers (TrFNs), and triangular intuitionistic fuzzy number (TIFNs). Using the relative closeness of technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and geometry entropy method, we first present a general approach to aggregating heterogeneous information into ITFNs, which takes the group consistency of experts into account. Based on the collective intuitionistic triangular fuzzy decision matrix and extended TOPSIS, a multiple objective mathematical program is constructed to determine the optimal attribute weights. Subsequently, a new method to solve HMAGDM problems is presented based on the aforementioned discussion. A trustworthy service selection example is provided to verify the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Decision-making in fuzzy environment is often a very complex, especially when related to predictions and assessments. The Ratio system approach of the MOORA method and Intervalvalued fuzzy numbers have already proved themselves as the effective tools for solving complex decision-making problems. Therefore, in this paper an extension of the Ratio system approach of the MOORA method, which allows a group decision-making as well as the use of interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers, is proposed. Interval-fuzzy numbers are rather complex, and therefore, they are not practical for direct assigning performance ratings. For this reason, in this paper it has also been suggested the approach which allows the expression of individual performance ratings using crisp, interval or fuzzy numbers, and their further transformation into the group performance ratings, expressed in the form of interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers, which provide greater flexibility and reality compared to the use of linguistic variables. Finally, in this paper the weighted averaging operator was proposed for defuzzification of interval-valued triangular fuzzy numbers.

The aim of this article is to propose a multi-objective decision-making method for researching and solving multi-attribute heterogeneous group decision-making problems. This is in the case that the characters of the decision information and decision makers' preferences are heterogeneous, and the weight information is incomplete. In this method, the multi-objective decision-making model, which considers the alternatives decision relative closeness and the preference of heterogeneous degree of decision makers in the objective function, is put forward. In addition, this article uses the minimax method to derive the multi-objective decision-making model and obtain the attribute weights and decision makers weights, and then the optimal scheme is established. Finally, an illustrative example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Multicriteria group decision making (MCGDM) research has rapidly been developed and become a hot topic for solving complex decision problems. Because of incomplete or non-obtainable information, the refractured well-selection problem often exists in complex and vague conditions that the relative importance of the criteria and the impacts of the alternatives on these criteria are difficult to determine precisely. This paper presents a new model for MCGDM by integrating fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with fuzzy TOPSIS based on interval-typed fuzzy numbers, to help group decision makers for well-selection during refracturing treatment. The fuzzy AHP is used to analyze the structure of the selection problem and to determine weights of the criteria with triangular fuzzy numbers, and fuzzy TOPSIS with interval-typed triangular fuzzy numbers is proposed to determine final ranking for all the alternatives. Furthermore, the algorithm allows finding the best alternatives. The feasibility of the proposed methodology is also demonstrated by the application of refractured well-selection problem and the method will provide a more effective decision-making tool for MCGDM problems.

The induced ordered weighted averaging distance (IOWAD) approach is very suitable in situations in which the available information is represented with exact numerical values. In this paper, we develop some extended IOWAD operators: the linguistic induced ordered weighted averaging distance (LIOWAD) operator, the uncertain induced ordered weighted averaging distance (UIOWAD) operator and the fuzzy induced ordered weighted averaging distance (FIOWAD) operator. Their main objective is to assess uncertain situations in which the available information is given in the form of linguistic variables, interval numbers and fuzzy numbers. Some special cases of these three new extensions are studied. Finally, we develop an application of the new operators in a group decision-making problem under an uncertain environment and illustrate it with a numerical example.

Abstract Inspired by the nonlinear weighted average operator, this paper proposes several generalized power average operators to aggregate hesitant fuzzy linguistic decision information. It is worth noting that the new operators take both the location and date weight information and the relative closeness of the decision-making information into consideration, a characteristic that results in objectivity and fairness in a group decision making. Moreover, we demonstrate some useful properties of the operators and discuss their associations. A new approach based on the designed operators is then proposed for hesitant fuzzy linguistic multiple attribute group decision-making problems, in which the attribute weights are known or unknown. Finally, this paper demonstrates the efficiency and feasibility of the proposed method through a numerical example.

The aim of this article is to investigate the approach for multi-attribute group decision-making, in which the attribute values take the form of multi-granularity multiplicative linguistic information. Firstly, to process multiple sources of decision information assessed in different multiplicative linguistic label sets, a method for transforming multi-granularity multiplicative linguistic information into multiplicative trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is proposed. Then, a formula for ranking multiplicative trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is given based on geometric mean. Furthermore, the concept of similarity degree between two multiplicative trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is defined. The attribute weights are obtained by solving some optimization models. An effective approach for group decision making with multi-granularity multiplicative linguistic information is developed based on the ordered weighted geometric mean operator and proposed formulae. Finally, a practical example is provided to illustrate the practicality and validity of the proposed method.
