This paper describes a new methodology for noninvasive, objective, and automated assessment of yield in vineyards using image analysis and Boolean model. Image analysis, as an inexpensive and noninvasive procedure, has been studied for this purpose, but the effect of occlusions from the cluster or other organs of the vine has an impact that diminishes the quality of the results. To reduce the influence of the occlusions in the estimation, the number of berries was assessed using the Boolean model. To evaluate the methodology, three different datasets were studied: cluster images, manually acquired vine images, and vine images captured on-the-go using a quad. The proposed algorithm estimated the number of berries in cluster images with a root mean square error (RMSE) of 20 and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.80. Vine images manually taken were evaluated, providing 310 grams of mean error and R2=0.81. Finally, images captured using a quad equipped with artificial light and automatic camera triggering were also analysed. The estimation obtained applying the Boolean model had 610 grams of mean error per segment (three vines) and R2=0.78. The reliability against occlusions and segmentation errors of the Boolean model makes it ideal for vineyard yield estimation. Its application greatly improved the results when compared to a simpler estimator based on the relationship between cluster area and weight.

Abstract As a up and coming sport, powerlifting is gathering more and more attetion. Powerlifters vary in their strength levels and performances at different ages as well as differing in height and weight. Hence the questions arises on how to establish the relationship between age and weight. It is difficult to judge the performance of athletes by artificial expertise, as subjective factors affecting the performance of powerlifters often fail to achieve the desired results. In recent years, artificial intelligence has made groundbreaking strides. Therefore, using artificial intelligence to predict the performance of athletes is among one of many interesting topics in sports competitions. Based on the artificial intelligence algorithm, this research proposes an analysis model of powerlifters’ performance. The results show that the method proposed in this paper can predict the best performance of powerlifters. Coefficient of determination-R2=0.86 and root-mean-square error of prediction-RMSEP=20.98 demonstrate the effectiveness of our method.

The accuracy of determining the height of trees is essential both in forestry and in scientific research. Height is usually determined using specific models, where it is a function of the diameter at breast height. On the materials of 23 sample plots with the measurement of model trees in birch stands, the parameters were determined for 29 two-parameter and three-parameter models that are most often found in literary sources. The following metrics evaluated the quality of the models: root mean square error, mean absolute percentage error, coefficient of determination, adjusted coefficient of determination, Akaike information criterion, and Bayesian information criterion. Three-parameter models of the dependence of height on diameter by a set of metrics show somewhat better quality than two-parameter models. Nevertheless, in general, the differences between most models are minor. Along with the models selected as the best, the Näslund and Chapman-Richards equations, which are often used in the literature as the most flexible, showed good quality. The methodology of this study allows you to repeat the same work for tree species and forest conditions, for which information on the nature of the relationship of height with diameter is incomplete or missing.

The production of coffee plantations has become the leading plantation commodity with the export value of the fourth rank after oil palm, rubber and coconut. The number of coffee needs for export every year always increases, therefore it is necessary to predict the yield of coffee plants to estimate planting and anticipation that will be done so as to achieve the target. Coffee plant productivity is influenced by internal and external factors, namely the quality of the plant itself, soil, altitude and climate. The method used in this study is the CRISP-DM method and multiple linear regression algorithm to predict the amount of coffee production and determine the relationship between the variables. The steps taken are business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling and evaluation. The data set that is used as many as 170 data after going through the data preparation stage produced 150 data with 5 attributes in the table. With calculations using tools, the coefficient of determination is 91.96%. That the variation in the value of the production of coffee plants is influenced by independent variables, namely the area of plantations, rainfall, air pressure and solar radiation by 91.96% and 8.04% influenced by other variables not measured in this study. The results of the evaluation and validation of predictions produce good accuracy with an RMSE value of 0.3477.

Measurement of chlorophyll content using destructive methods is not efficient due to a large number of samples, cost, and time needed. Estimationof chlorophyll content by nondestructive methods using handheld chlorophyll meter may be considered to improve efficiency. This research aimed to determine the formula to convert SPAD-502 and atLEAF CHL PLUS values (relative indicator of chlorophyll content) to estimated (absolute) rubber leaves chlorophyll content. Twenty leaves of rubber plant were measured using SPAD-502 and atLEAF CHL PLUS at the same time to determine SPAD-502 and atLEAF CHL PLUS values. The measured leaves were then collected to determine the chlorophyll content using a standard laboratory procedure. Regression and correlation analyses (among 3 methods) were conducted using SAS v.9 software. The results showed that between SPAD-502 and atLEAF CHL PLUS values were closely correlated, hence both of the devices can substitute each other to estimate rubber leaf chlorophyll content. In addition, the relationship between atLEAF CHL PLUS and SPAD-502 values with actual chlorophyll content of rubber clone SP 217, PB 260, GT1, and all clones (general) were significant with high coefficient of determination (R2) as well as low Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) and Coefficient of Variation (CV). Therefore, by using formula determined in this study, both atLEAF CHL PLUS and SPAD-502 can be suggested for accurate, fast, and non-destructive estimation of chlorophyll content of rubber plant leaf.

Regression analysis is a method of data analysis to describe the relationship between response variables and predictor variables. There are two approaches to estimating the regression function. They are parametric and nonparametric approaches. The parametric approach is used when the relationship between the predictor variables and the response variables are known or the shape of the regression curve is known. Meanwhile, the nonparametric approach is used when the form of the relationship between the response and predictor variables is unknown or no information about the form of the regression function. The aim of this study are to determine the best spline nonparametric regression model on data of quality of the product, price, and advertising on purchasing decisions of Yamaha motorcycle with optimal knots point and to compare it with the multiple regression linear based on the coefficient of determination (R2) and mean square error (MSE). Optimal knot points are defined by two point knots. The result of this analysis is that for this data multiple regression linear is better than the spline regression one.

<p>Based on observations in the field, it can be seen that at the Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta Cibinong Campus service is generally seen as good enough, but there are some services that are still considered not optimal. Based on this, the writer is interested in conducting research to find out how much influence the quality of service on corporate image (Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta Cibinong Campus). The type of research chosen is a type of quantitative research. Quantitative research was chosen because researchers wanted to measure the effect of service quality on image at the Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta Cibinong Campus using a scale and size that had been previously designed. This measurement is based on the respondent's answer to a questionnaire containing various questions and statements with variations of answers that have been provided by the author. This research is explanative, namely a study that explains the interplay between independent variables (Service Quality) and dependent variables (Image Company) through testing hypotheses. In this case the researcher examines whether there is an influence between the quality of service to the company image by testing several theories used. From the results of the analysis obtained the value of service quality has a significant positive effect on the image shown by the r value of 0.587 which means the relationship between the two is strong. While the coefficient of determination (R2) is equal to 0.344, which means that service quality can increase the company's image variable by 34.4%, while the remaining 65.6% is explained by other variables.</p><p> Keywords: Service, Quality, Image</p>
