We investigate cache technique from the spatial view and study its impact on the relaying networks. In particular, we consider a dual-hop relaying network, where decode-and-forward (DF) relays can assist the data transmission from the source to the destination. In addition to the traditional dual-hop relaying, we also consider the cache from the spatial view, where the source can prestore the data among the memories of the nodes around the destination. For the DF relaying networks without and with cache, we study the system performance by deriving the analytical expressions of outage probability and symbol error rate (SER). We also derive the asymptotic outage probability and SER in the high regime of transmit power, from which we find the system diversity order can be rapidly increased by using cache and the system performance can be significantly improved. Simulation and numerical results are demonstrated to verify the proposed studies and find that the system power resources can be efficiently saved by using cache technique.

In this paper, we consider a dual-user nonorthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with the help of full-duplex decode-and-forward (DF) relay systems with respect to Nakagami-m fading channel environment. Especially, we derive the analytical expressions to evaluate system performance in terms of outage probability, achievable throughput, and energy efficiency. The main investigation is on considering how the fading parameters and transmitting power at the base station make crucial impacts on system performance in the various scenarios. Finally, simulations are conducted to confirm the validity of the analysis and show the system performance of NOMA under different fading parameters of Nakagami-m fading channels.

In recent years, harvesting energy from radio frequency (RF) signals has drawn significant research interest as a promising solution to solve the energy problem. In this paper, we analyze the effect of the interference noise on the wireless energy harvesting performance of a decode-and-forward (DF) relaying network. In this analysis, the energy and information are transferred from the source to the relay nodes in the delay-limited transmission and Delay-tolerant transmission modes by two methods: i) time switching protocol and ii) power splitting protocol. Firstly, due to the constraint of the wireless energy harvesting at the relay node, the analytical mathematical expressions of the achievable throughput, outage probability and ergodic capacity of both schemes were proposed and demonstrated. After that, the effect of various system parameters on the system performance is rigorously studied with closed-form expressions for system throughput, outage probability, and ergodic capacity. Finally, the analytical results are also demonstrated by Monte-Carlo simulation. The results show that the analytical mathematical and simulated results agree with each other. This is an Open Access article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

In this work, the half-duplex (HF) power beacon-assisted (PB) energy harvesting (EH) relaying network, which consists of a source (S), Relay (R), destination (D) and a power beacon (PB) are introduced and investigated. Firstly, the analytical expressions of the system performance in term of outage probability (OP) and the system throughput (ST) are analyzed and derived in both amplify-and-forward (AF) and decode-and-forward (DF) modes. After that, we verify the correctness of the analytical analysis by using Monte-Carlo simulation in connection with the primary system parameters. From the numerical results, we can see that all the analytical and the simulation results are matched well with each other.

Relay communication is considered as a popular solution for expanding the coverage, increasing the transmission capacity and reducing the power consumption of the communication networks. In this paper, we proposed and investigated the two-way decode-and-forward (DF) half-duplex (HD) relaying network with the direct link between two sources S1 and S2. Firstly, the system model, energy harvesting (EH) and information transmission (IT) are presented. The closed-form analytical expression of the system outage probability (OP) is analyzed and derived in the next stage. Finally, the correctness of the analytical expressions is verified by Monte Carlo simulation. The research results show that the analytical and simulation are the same in connection with the primary system parameters.

In this paper, the system performance in term of the ergodic capacity of a half-duplex decode-and-forward relaying network over Rician Fading Channel is investigated. The power splitting protocol is proposed for the system model. For this purpose, the analytical mathematical expressions of the ergodic capacity in cases of maximize and no-maximize ergodic capacity are derived and discussed. Furthermore, the effect of various system parameters on the system performance is rigorously studied. Finally, the analytical results are also demonstrated by Monte-Carlo simulation in comparison with the analytical expressions. The research results show that the analytical mathematical and simulated results match for all possible parameter values for both schemes.

This paper aims to derive accurate outage probability expressions of a cognitive decode-and-forward (DF) relay system over the Nakagami-m fading channel. A secondary system and a primary system coexist in a spectrum sharing the environment. In order to protect the data transmission of the primary system, the transmission power of the secondary system cannot exceed the tolerable interference threshold of the primary system and its available peak power. In particular, we also consider the impact on the secondary system when the primary system turns on its transmitter. Simulation results align with our theoretical formulas very well.

In this paper, we have investigated the Half-Duplex (HD) Energy Harvesting (EH) Cooperative Relaying Networks with one source node, one destination node, one intermediate relay and in the presence of the Jammer Against Eavesdropper. We have analyzed the system performance in terms of the integral form expression of secrecy outage probability. In addition, we have investigated the effect of source rate, time switching factor, energy coefficient, and the ratio Ps/N0 on the system performance. Finally, all the mathematical, analytical expressions are verified by Monte Carlo simulation, and the analytical results match well with the simulation ones to convince the correctness of the analytical expression.

This paper considers a simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) based decode-and-forward (DF) relaying sensor network, where the “save-and-forward” strategy is utilized at the relay sensor node. We investigate a joint power splitting (PS) and relay location (RL) optimization scheme for delay-sensitive transmission mode using the instantaneous channel state information (CSI). In particular, two optimization problems are formulated to minimize the outage probability and maximize the average capacity, respectively. For the two optimization problems, the optimal solutions to the PS ratio and RL are obtained based on the instantaneous CSI. On the basis of optimal solutions, the analytical expressions for outage probability and average capacity are derived, and the corresponding achievable throughputs are obtained. Numerical results verify the correctness of theoretical derivations and validate the advantages of our proposed scheme.

In the last time, the system performance of the energy harvesting relay network has been considered in many studies. In this paper, we propose and investigate the outage probability (OP) of the Decode-and-Forward (DF) Energy Harvesting (EH) Full-Duplex (FD) Relaying network in Power Splitting Protocol (PS) using MRC Technique with the presence of the direct link. In the first stage, the integral form of the OP is derived in two cases with and without the presence of the direct link. After that, we analyze the influence of main system parameters on the OP and comparison between two cases with and without the presence of the direct link. Finally, the results show that all simulation and analytical results match well with each other based on the Monte Carlo verification simulation.

Today, intelligence in all walks of life is developing at an unexpectedly fast speed. The complexity of the Internet of Things (IoT) big data system of intelligent parks is analyzed to unify the information transmission of various industries, such as smart transportation, smart library, and smart medicine, thereby diminishing information islands. The traditional IoT systems are analyzed; on this basis, a relay node is added to the transmission path of the data information, and an intelligent park IoT big data system is constructed based on relay cooperation with a total of three hops. Finally, the IoT big data system is simulated and tested to verify its complexity. Results of energy efficiency analysis suggest that when the power dividing factor is 0.5, 0.1, and 0.9, the energy efficiency of the IoT big data system first increases and then decreases as α0 increases, where the maximum value appears when α0 is about 7 J. Results of outage probability analysis demonstrate that the system’s simulation result is basically the same as that of the theoretical result. Under the same environment, the more hop paths the system has, the more the number of relays is; moreover, the larger the fading index m, the better the system performance, and the lower the outage possibility. Results of transmission accuracy analysis reveal that the IoT big data system can provide a result that is the closest to the actual result when the successful data transmission probability is 100%, and the parameter λ values are between 0.01 and 0.05; in the meantime, the delay of successful data transmission is reduced gradually. In summary, the wireless relay cooperation transmission technology can reduce the outage probability and data transmission delay probability of the IoT big data system in the intelligent park by adding the multihop path, thereby improving the system performance. The above results can provide an experimental basis for exploring the complexity of IoT systems in intelligent parks.
