Although the safe consumption of goods such as food products, medicine, and vaccines is related to their freshness, consumers frequently understand less than suppliers about the freshness of goods when they purchase them. Because of this lack of information, apart from sales prices, consumers refer only to the manufacturing and expiration dates when deciding whether to purchase and how many of these goods to buy. If dealers could determine the sales price at each point in time and customers’ intention to buy goods of varying freshness, then dealers could set an optimal inventory cycle and allocate a weekly sales price for each point in time, thereby maximizing the profit per unit time. Therefore, in this study, an economic order quality model was established to enable discussion of the optimal control of sales prices. The technique for identifying the optimal solution for the model was determined, the characteristics of the optimal solution were demonstrated, and the implications of the solution’s sensitivity analysis were explained.

In this work, a systematic method is introduced to determine the required accuracy of an automotive engine model used for real-time optimal control of coldstart hydrocarbon (HC) emissions. The engine model structure and development are briefly explained and the model predictions versus experimental results are presented. The control design problem is represented with a dynamic optimization formulation on the basis of the engine model and solved using the Pontryagin’s minimum principle (PMP). To relate the level of plant/model mismatch and the control performance degradation in practice, a sensitivity analysis using a computationally efficient method is employed. In this way, the sensitivities or the effects of small parameter variations on the optimal solution, which is the minimum of cumulative tailpipe HC emissions over the coldstart period, are calculated. There is a good agreement between the sensitivity analysis results and the experimental data. The sensitivities indicate the directions of the subsequent parameter estimation and model improvement tasks to enhance the control-relevant accuracy, and thus, the control performance. Furthermore, they provide some insights to simplify the engine model, which is critical for real-time implementation of the coldstart optimal control system.

The  objectives of the research are to determine the optimal allocation of resources available to the general company for food products using a linear programming(LP) technique to obtain high levels of production and high levels of profits by maximizing the value of the objective function and increasing the profitability of the company, and conducting a sensitivity analysis to see the extent of changes in the optimum commodity composition in terms of quality and quantity with the level of profits in a manner commensurate with the requirements of growth in the company , the study based on the  use of (LP)technique to determine the optimum production plan with the highest net income  for the products under study for vegetable oil factories as well as using sensitivity analysis  by using  the statistical program (Win QSB) .The research showed a number of results, perhaps the most important: proof of the hypothesis of achieving high levels of production and profits as well as the optimal allocation of available resources, as the quantity  of production increased from 472 tons in the actual production plan to 974 tons in the derived plan , achieving a jump estimated at 106. 4%, and the results of the optimal solution using the (LP)technique showed that the value of net income at current prices has reached 348739500 dinars, an increase of 184.6% over the net income actually achieved at current prices of 122528565 dinars for the year 2018. The research had reached a number  of conclusions, perhaps the most important is the  matching of the research results to the research hypothesis as well as  the optimal solution using the LP technique  had showed  the difference in the  optimum commodity composition and  its quantities from the actual commodity composition of the products , the research provides a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the application of a linear programming technique to know the extent of investing available resources in a way efficiency, which helps to increase production in order to achieve economic efficiency and the need to generalize it to production units with similar conditions in order to determine the optimal use of the various production resources.

Setelah metode Hongaria diterapkan, CV. Karya Indah Bordir mendapat peningkatan pendapatan sebanyak 9,09%. Analisis sensitivitas dilakukan dengan mengurangi waktu karyawan dalam menyulam tas. Hasil analisis sensitivitas adalah beberapa batasan untuk variabel basis dan non basis untuk mempertahankan solusi optimal.   This research has a purpose to optimize the scheduling of employees in CV. Karya Indah Bordir in doing certain tasks using Hungarian method, as well as analyzing the sensitivity of the optimal solution if there is a reduction on the employees time to finish the tasks. The Hungarian method was applied on the embroidery process involving 11 employees and 10 tasks. The optimal scheduling result minimize the time of the embroidery production of the company. The optimal scheduling result found is: employee 1 does the Mambo bag, employee 2 does the Elli bag, employee 3 does the Lonjong bag, employee 4 does the Tampang bunga bag, employee 6 does the Ransel, employee 7 does the Tima bag, employee 8 does the Keong bag, employee 9 does the Alexa bag, employees 10 does the Luna bag, and employee 11 does the Mikha bag, with the total work time is 13,7 hours. After the Hungarian method was applied, CV. Karya Indah Bordir got the increasing revenue as much as 9,09 %. The sensitivity analysis was conducted by reducing the time of the employees take in embroidery the bags. The results of the sensitivity analysis are some boundaries for basis and non basis variables to maintain the optimal solution.

Abstract In this paper, we investigate the problem for optimal control of a viscous generalized \theta -type dispersive equation (VG \theta -type DE) with weak dissipation. First, we prove the existence and uniqueness of weak solution to the equation. Then, we present the optimal control of a VG \theta -type DE with weak dissipation under boundary condition and prove the existence of optimal solution to the problem.
