This paper presents a preliminary study on establishing a mobile point-to-point (P2P) microwave air-bridging (MAB) between Unmanned Low Altitude Flying Platform (ULAFP) and backhaul telecommunication network. The proposed Sky-Net system relays telecom signal for general mobile cellphone users via ULAFP when natural disaster sweeps off Base Transceiver Stations (BTSs). Unlike the conventional fix point microwave bridging application, the ULAFP is cruising on a predefined mission flight path to cover a wider range of service. The difficulty and challenge fall on how to maintain antenna alignment accurately in order to provide the signal strength for MAB. A dual-axis rotation mechanism with embedded controller is designed and implemented on airborne and ground units for stabilizing airborne antenna and tracking the moving ULAFP. The MAB link is established in flight tests using the proposed antenna stabilizing/tracking mechanism with correlated control method. The result supports backbone technique of the Sky-Net mobile communication and verifies the feasibility of airborne e-Cell BTS.

Purpose This paper aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of a fault-tolerant flight control method by using simple adaptive control (SAC) with PID controller. Design/methodology/approach Numerical simulations and flight tests are executed for pitch angle and roll angle control of research aircraft MuPAL-α under the following fault cases: sudden reduction in aileron effectiveness, sudden reduction in elevator effectiveness and loss of longitudinal static stability. Findings The simulations and flight tests reveal the effectiveness of the proposed SAC with PID controller as a fault-tolerant flight controller. Practical implications This research includes implications for the development of vehicles’ robustness. Originality/value This study proposes novel SAC-based flight controller and actually demonstrates the effectiveness by flight test.

This paper introduces the implementation of intelligent motion control and planning for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV). Previously developed control system features intelligent motion control and planning subsystem, based on artificial neural networks. It allows detecting and avoiding moving obstacles in front of the AUV. The motion control subsystem uses position-trajectory control method to position AUV, move from point to point and along given path with given speed. Control system was tested in the multi-module simulation complex. Simulation showed good results – AUV successfully achieved given goals avoiding collisions not only with static obstacles, but also with mobile ones. That allows using the proposed control system for the groups of vehicles. Besides simulation, control system was implemented in hardware. AUV prototype passed tests in Azov Sea and proved its efficiency.

With the development of the Botnet, new botnets use the peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol (such as for eMule download) appear, which have brought great challenges in detecting and preventing of botnet in the data center.27100Point to point protocol uses more decentralized control method, so information between each node can be shared, and each node has the function of connecting and recovering, which leads to that the class of Botnet is hard to be closed. In the protection of Botnet the data center also found that there are more and more botnet uses the high strength encryption technology after implanting into hosting, which makes the application layer information of the whole communication process be invisible to zombie network protection system for data centers , resulting in many missing events on the recognition and Influences the safety management effect. The specific point of view, point to point protocol and communication method based on encryption led to the that a data center in the botnet protection system is difficult to deal with effectively

Small fixed wing and rotor-copter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are being used for low altitude remote sensing for thematic land classification and precision agriculture applications. Various sensors operating in the non-visible spectrum such as multispectral, hyperspectral and thermal sensors can be used as payloads. This work presents a preliminary study on the use of unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a compact spectrometer for land cover type characterization. When calibrated, the measured spectra by the UAV spectrometer can be processed and compared reference data to generate georeferenced reflection spectra enabling the identification, classification and characterization of land cover elements. For this case study we used a DJI Flamewheel F550 hexacopter and the FLAME-NIR spectrometer for hyperspectral measurements. The calibration of the spectrometer is described as well the approach to determine its spatial footprint. The spectrometer spectral exposure labeled ground point can be used to determine the land cover classification. Preliminary results of a case-study are presented.

Abstract In order to improve the handover rate and quickly handover the target cell, the handover control algorithm of the mobile communication system is explored, and the handover algorithm that combines signal strength and signal quality is researched. At the same time, it is experimentally demonstrated, and the handover user and the new user will be connected. The influence of the entry control threshold setting on the system was compared.
