We present two qualitative results concerning the solutions of the following equation: x¨(t)+g(x˙(t))+bx(t-h)+σx(t)ω˙(t)=p(t,x(t),x˙(t),x(t-h)); the first result covers the stochastic asymptotic stability of the zero solution for the above equation in case p≡0, while the second one discusses the uniform stochastic boundedness of all solutions in case p≢0. Sufficient conditions for the stability and boundedness of solutions for the considered equation are obtained by constructing a Lyapunov functional. Two examples are also discussed to illustrate the efficiency of the obtained results.

The stability of the zero solution of a system of first-order linear functional differential equations with nonconstant delay is considered. Sufficient conditions for stability, uniform stability, asymptotic stability, and uniform asymptotic stability are established.

Abstract The aim of this work is to study the asymptotic stability of the time-changed stochastic delay differential equations (SDDEs) with Markovian switching. Some sufficient conditions for the asymptotic stability of solutions to the time-changed SDDEs are presented. In contrast to the asymptotic stability in existing articles, we present the new results on the stability of solutions to time-changed SDDEs, which is driven by time-changed Brownian motion. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the main results.

Abstract In this paper, sufficient conditions to guarantee the square integrability of all solutions and the asymptotic stability of the zero solution of a non-autonomous third-order neutral delay differential equation are established. An example is given to illustrate the main results.

AbstractThe uniform stability of the zero solution and the asymptotic behaviour of all solutions of the neutral delay differential equation$$ [x(t)-P(t)x(t-\tau)]'+Q(t)x(t-\sigma)=0,\quad t\ge t_0, $$are investigated, where $\tau,\sigma\in(0,\infty)$, $P\in C([t_0,\infty),\mathbb{R})$, and $Q\in C([t_0,\infty), [0,\infty))$. The obtained sufficient conditions improve the existing results in the literature.AMS 2000 Mathematics subject classification: Primary 34K20; 34K15; 34K40

We consider the stability and stabilization of impulsive stochastic delay differential equations (ISDDEs). Using the Lyapunov-Razumikhin method, we obtain the sufficient conditions to guarantee thepth moment exponential stability of ISDDEs. Then the almost sure exponential stability is considered and the sufficient conditions of the almost sure exponential stability are obtained. Moreover, the stabilization problem of ISDDEs is studied and the criterion on impulsive stabilization of ISDDEs is established. At last, examples are presented to illustrate the correctness of our results.

n this paper, we provide certain conditions that guarantee the stability of the zero solution when P(t, X, Y) = 0 and boundedness of all solutions when P(t, X, Y)# 0 of a certain system of second order differential equation using a suitable Lyapunov function. The results in this paper are quite new and complement those in the literature. Examples are given to demonstrate the correctness of the established results.

AbstractIn this paper, by defining Lyapunov functionals, we investigate proper sufficient conditions for the uniform stability of the zero solution, and also for the uniform boundedness and uniform ultimate boundedness of all solutions of a certain third-order nonlinear vector delay differential equation of the type

The main purpose of this work is to give sufficient conditions for the uniform stability of the zero solution of a certain fourth-order vector delay differential equation of the following form:X(4)+F(X˙,X¨)X⃛+Φ(X¨)+G(X˙(t-r))+H(X(t-r))=0.By constructing a Lyapunov functional, we obtained the result of stability.

AbstractThis paper studies the linear fractional-order delay differential equation $$ {}^{C}D^{\alpha }_{-}x(t)-px(t-\tau )= 0, $$ D − α C x ( t ) − p x ( t − τ ) = 0 , where $0<\alpha =\frac{\text{odd integer}}{\text{odd integer}}<1$ 0 < α = odd integer odd integer < 1 , $p, \tau >0$ p , τ > 0 , ${}^{C}D_{-}^{\alpha }x(t)=-\Gamma ^{-1}(1-\alpha )\int _{t}^{\infty }(s-t)^{- \alpha }x'(s)\,ds$ D − α C x ( t ) = − Γ − 1 ( 1 − α ) ∫ t ∞ ( s − t ) − α x ′ ( s ) d s . We obtain the conclusion that $$ p^{1/\alpha } \tau >\alpha /e $$ p 1 / α τ > α / e is a sufficient and necessary condition of the oscillations for all solutions of Eq. (*). At the same time, some sufficient conditions are obtained for the oscillations of multiple delays linear fractional differential equation. Several examples are given to illustrate our theorems.

The stability of a class of static interval neural networks with time delay in the leakage term is investigated. By using the method ofM-matrix and the technique of delay differential inequality, we obtain some sufficient conditions ensuring the global exponential robust stability of the networks. The results in this paper extend the corresponding conclusions without leakage delay. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the obtained results.
