The topic of this paper is the analysis of a control system for a semiactive rear suspension in an off-road two-wheeled vehicle. Several control methods are studied, as well as the recently proposed Frequency Estimation Based (FEB) algorithm. The motorcycle dynamics, as well as the passive, and semiactive dampers, and the algorithm controlled shock absorber models are loaded into BikeSim, a professional two-wheeled vehicle simulation software, and tested in several road conditions. The results show a detailed comparison of the theoretical performance of the different control approaches in a novel environment for semiactive dampers.

Pulp and paper processes frequently present nonlinear behavior, which means that process dynam-ics change with the operating points. These nonlinearities can challenge process control. PID controllers are the most popular controllers because they are simple and robust. However, a fixed set of PID tuning parameters is gen-erally not sufficient to optimize control of the process. Problems related to nonlinearities such as sluggish or oscilla-tory response can arise in different operating regions. Gain scheduling is a potential solution. In processes with mul-tiple control objectives, the control strategy must further evaluate loop interactions to decide on the pairing of manipulated and controlled variables that minimize the effect of such interactions and hence, optimize controller’s performance and stability. Using the CADSIM Plus™ commercial simulation software, we developed a Jacobian sim-ulation module that enables automatic bumps on the manipulated variables to calculate process gains at different operating points. These gains can be used in controller tuning. The module also enables the control system designer to evaluate loop interactions in a multivariable control system by calculating the Relative Gain Array (RGA) matrix, of which the Jacobian is an essential part.

This paper describes the use of Fluid Flow Simulation Software to model a passenger aircraft engine environmental control system. The analysis simulates the cooling pack and the engine distribution system in a single model.The engine environmental system is very important for engine working efficiently. Using AMEsim software to simulate the cooling system can make it easily and clearly. The influence of the heat component and the fan operating is studied also. Through the analysis of the cooling system, we know that with the help of fan, the system can get additional air in the radiator and make the temperature decrease consequently.

Hydraulic descaling system is the key device to ensure the surface quality of billet. However, traditional control methods lead to the stability problem in hydraulic descaling system. To solve the problem, the construction of the hydraulic descaling computer control system is studied, the working principle of the system is analyzed, and the high pressure water bench of hydraulic descaling is designed. Based on it, the corresponding computer control software is developed. The application shows that the designed system is stable in practice, which is helpful for enterprise production.

Purpose As a short take-off and landing aircraft, FanWing has the capability of being driven under power a short distance from a parking space to the take-off area. The purpose of this paper is to design the take-off control system of FanWing and study the factors that influence the short take-off performance under control. Design/methodology/approach The force analysis of FanWing is studied in the take-off phase. Two take-off control methods are researched, and several factors that influence the short take-off performance are studied under control. Findings The elevator and fan wing control systems are designed. Although the vehicle load increases under the fan wing control, the fan wing control is not a recommended practice in the take-off phase for its sensitivity to the pitch angle command. The additional pitch-down moment has a significant influence on the control system and the short take-off performance that the barycenter variation of FanWing should be considered carefully. Practical implications The presented efforts provide a reference for the location of the center of gravity in designing FanWing. The traditional elevator control is more recommended than the fan wing control in the take-off phase. Originality/value This paper offers a valuable reference on the control system design of FanWing. It also proves that there is an additional pith-down moment that needs to be paid close attention to. Four factors that influence the short take-off performance are compared under control.

This paper mainly studies the output feedback control problem of the stochastic nonlinear system based on loose growth conditions and applies the research results to the valve control system of underwater oil and gas pipelines, which can improve the speed and stability of the equipment system. First, the concept of randomness is introduced to study the actual tracking control problem of output feedback of stochastic nonlinear systems, remove the original harsher growth conditions, make it meet the more general polynomial function growth conditions, and propose a combination of static and dynamic output feedback practices. The design of the tracking controller makes all the states of the system meet boundedness and ensures that the tracking error of the system converges to a small neighborhood of zero. Second, the system is extended to the parameter-uncertain system, and the output feedback tracking controller with complete dynamic gain is constructed by proving the boundedness of the system state and gain. Further, the time-delay factor is introduced, and the nonlinear term of the system satisfies the more relaxed power growth condition, combined with the inverse method to cleverly construct a set of Lyapunov functions and obtain the output controller to ensure that the system is asymptotically probabilistic in the global scope. Stability. Finally, through the ocean library in the Simulation X simulation software, the controller design results are imported into the underwater electro-hydraulic actuator model to verify the effectiveness of the controller design.

The article presents the results of choosing how to control a real non-linear object. Yeast drying requires a precise temperature control due to the possibility of overheating. The object changes properties during of the process flow. Object identification is used and a mathematical model is developed. The model is used to select roboust control methods. The results are compared to the system of two PID regulators used in practice.

In this paper, the transformation of steam turbine regulating system from mechanical hydraulic regulation to electro-hydraulic regulation is realized. And the internal leakage mechanism of the hydraulic control switch valve and the electro-hydraulic proportional valve in the system is analyzed. With the use of hydraulic simulation software AMESim, the mathematical model of the electro-hydraulic control system after transforming is established. The parameters of the hydraulic control switch valve and the electro-hydraulic proportional valve in the hydraulic control system of steam turbine inlet valve are studied under different internal leakage locations and different leakage degree, such as piston regulating time, steady position of piston, oil pressure and leakage flow flux. The fault characteristic table of internal leakage is obtained. An experimental platform for simulating internal leakage is built. The experimental curves of several physical quantities under different internal leakage conditions are obtained. The experimental results prove that the internal leakage has a great impact on the performance of the electro-hydraulic control system. The results of internal leakage experiment are consistent with those of internal leakage simulation.
