Alignment of dish concentrator is a key factor to the performance of solar energy system. We propose a new method for the alignment of faceted solar dish concentrator. The isosceles triangle configuration of facet’s footholds determines a fixed relation between light spot displacements and foothold movements, which allows an automatic determination of the amount of adjustments. Tests on a 25 kW Stirling Energy System dish concentrator verify the feasibility, accuracy, and efficiency of our method.

Ionic liquids (ILs) have come to the fore as environmentally solvent that is liquid at room temperature. Among all ILs, those based on imidazolium salts are interested because of wildly usage. In synthesizing the N,N-dialkyl-imidazolium, conventionally, the complex steps are used. In this work, however, it is shown experimentally that the salt also can be effectively synthesized by alkylating imidazole with halogenated hydrocarbon. In this way, different chains N,N-dialkyl-imidazoliums can be prepared, and the isolated yield higher than 85%. Compared with traditional operating procedures, the new method gives higher productivity, less operating steps and lower waste.

A method for mechanics analysis of bar structure materials has been presented in the paper. The method is based on the theory of kinematics, dynamics, and programming techniques. After deriving of relevant equations, detail analysis about positions, velocities, accelerations, and angles, angular velocities, angular accelerations of bars as well as other parameters relevant to bar structure materials to be searched can be obtained in the paper. Relationships between various parameters and variables of bar structures have been derived according to different working states of bars. The method put forward in the paper is a feasible and high efficient method for mechanics analysis of bar structure materials in the design of mechanism.

SummaryThe term “effective activator” of plasminogen is proposed, to denote the resultant of activator-antiactivator interaction, and a method for the determination of the level of these activators is described. By adding axcess plasminogen to the euglobulin fraction of plasma the influence of the level of endogenous plasminogen and of the antiplasmin is eliminated. It is shown that the level of fibrinogen has very little bearing on the results. An effective activator unit is defined as equal to 1 CTA unit of urokinase activity on a fibrinogen-plasminogen substrate.
