The present case report is the first of its kind that documents the successful outcome of “revascularization,” a regeneration-based treatment protocol in a mature adult patient. It belies the myth that “revascularization” should only be done in children and young, adolescent patients. The misconception that stem cells number as well as viability in older age group patients will not allow revascularization to be successful is also contradicted by this case. The paper highlights all the mechanisms that come into play and the enhancing of regenerative response by supplementation with platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

Fractures of the supracondylar and intercondylar region of the distal femur usually result from high velocity injury that is uncommonly associated with violation of the integrity of the extensor mechanism. The consequences of missed quadriceps injury associated with a distal femur fracture are devastating. The present case report illustrates the importance of recognizing the rare association of quadriceps tear with distal femoral fractures, an appropriate surgical approach to repair the tear as well as fixation of fracture, and a protocol of postoperative rehabilitation to achieve a successful outcome.

Sterilization of root canal space is foremost for the success of the endodontic treatment which is usually carried out with intracanal irrigants and medicaments. Triple antibiotic paste (metronidazole, ciprofloxacin, and minocycline) is used to achieve sterilization and healing of periradicular area. In the present case report, the triple antibiotic paste was used for non-surgical management of periapical lesion for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, the tooth became asymptomatic that was then obturated. Hence, it is confirmed that conventional root canal treatment, along with intracanal medicaments (triple antibiotic paste), can non-surgically manage the periapical lesions and further promotes healing.

Colorectal cancer is an extremely rare clinical entity in pediatric and adolescent age group. In the present case report, diagnosis and management of adenocarcinoma of colon in a teenager has been presented. A 15-year old boy without any predisposing factor was referred with gastrointestinal symptoms. With advanced diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, the case was treated successfully. Nonspecific vague symptoms of gastrointestinal system especially pain in abdomen, altered bowel habits if associated with weight loss should be meticulously evaluated further. Even in the absence of any predisposing conditions, high level of suspicion of CRC in children and adolescents is mandatory.

Immature necrotic teeth pose a challenge to endodontist. To simplify this challenge regenerative endodontic has gained popularity these days. This approach is based on triggering stem cells and repopulate over scaffold to induce regeneration of pulp like tissue. This case report presents a case of regeneration of apical tissue with significant healing of periapical lesion.

AbstractThe present case report describes management of two cases with complicated coronal fracture where fractured fragments were reattached, before reattachment of fractured fragments pulpotomy was performed in both cases using different pulpotomy agents, calcium hydroxide in patient with immature apex and mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) in patient where root development was complete. Both the patients were evaluated for sign and symptoms for a period of 18 months with successful outcome.

Motherhood is one of those transforming experience which can’t quite put into words. Infertility represents a major crisis for most couples, with both partners experiencing loss in ways that affect them as individu-als, as family members and as members of society as a whole. Tubal factor is second major cause of fe-male infertility. In Tubal factor, modern management are dependent on Tubal Surgery or IVF or Embryo Transfer. All these methods are the solution only for the anatomical aspect of the tube and no success in establishing the tubal function. The present case report revealed effect of Virechana and Uttarbasti karma in a known case of secondary infertility due to Fallopian Tube Blockage. Virechana is indicated in Vandhyatva and Yonivyapada chikitsa. Uttarabasti is a very important and unique Ayurvedic procedure, which is mentioned for the genito–urinary problems. Successful conception occurs after this treatment.

The transpalatal arch might be one of the most common intraoral auxiliary fixed appliances used in orthodontics in order to provide dental anchorage. The aim of the present case report is to describe a case in which an adult patient with a tendency to class III, palatal compression, and bilateral posterior crossbite was treated with double transpalatal bars in order to control the torque of both the first and the second molars. Double transpalatal arches on both first and second maxillary molars are a successful appliance in order to control the posterior sectors and improve the torsion of the molars. They allow the professional to gain overbite instead of losing it as may happen with other techniques and avoid enlarging of Wilson curve, obtaining a more stable occlusion without the need for extra help from bone anchorage.

Apexification is widely applied in teenager patients but rarely used in the adult population. Instead, artificial apical barrier with mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) is clinically accepted, and spontaneous apical closure in nonvital immature teeth of adult patients has rarely been encountered while only apexification of the maxillary incisors in adult patients has been reported. The aim of this case report is to share a successful apexification application in the mandibular premolar with a blunderbuss apex and periapical lesion of an adult patient by using calcium hydroxide: radiographically, spontaneous hard tissue barrier has been established, and narrowing canal space and decreasing area of periapical shadow were documented without complications. Taken together, our study indicates that patient’s age and tooth position may not be the critical limitation for apexification.
