The parallelization of 2D/3D software SAPTIS is discussed for nonlinear analysis of complex structures. A comparative study is made on different parallel solvers. The numerical models are presented, including hydration models, water cooling models, modulus models, creep model, and autogenous deformation models. A finite element simulation is made for the whole process of excavation and pouring of dams using these models. The numerical results show a good agreement with the measured ones. To achieve a better computing efficiency, four parallel solvers utilizing parallelization techniques are employed: (1) a parallel preconditioned conjugate gradient (PCG) solver based on OpenMP, (2) a parallel preconditioned Krylov subspace solver based on MPI, (3) a parallel sparse equation solver based on OpenMP, and (4) a parallel GPU equation solver. The parallel solvers run either in a shared memory environment OpenMP or in a distributed memory environment MPI. A comparative study on these parallel solvers is made, and the results show that the parallelization makes SAPTIS more efficient, powerful, and adaptable.

This study reports the GPU parallelization of complex three-dimensional software for nonlinear analysis of concrete structures. It focuses on coupled thermomechanical analysis of complex structures. A coupled FEM/DEM approach (CDEM) is given from a fundamental theoretical viewpoint. As the modeling of a large structure by means of FEM/DEM may lead to prohibitive computation times, a parallelization strategy is required. With the substantial development of computer science, a GPU-based parallel procedure is implemented. A comparative study between the GPU and CPU computation results is presented, and the runtimes and speedups are analyzed. The results show that dramatic performance improvements are gained from GPU parallelization.

SapTis is a software of simulation and nonlinear analysis of complex structures which based on the FEM method, this paper discussed the key technology of FEM parallelization and then the parallelization strategy of SapTis is given; There are three realization for the SapTis parallelization:Make fine grain parallelism to the PCG solution on the OpenMP platform; the other Krylov subspace method solutions and preconditioners was developed on the MPI platform; the sparse direct solutions was developed on the OpenMP platform. Test results show that there are high efficiency of the three parallel realization for SapTis, and each had its own characteristics. In addition, the GPU solution is still in development which will make the SapTis software more powerful, flexible and adaptable.

In order to study the creep properties of coal or rock containing gas, the creep properties of coal or rock without gas were studied firstly. Through analyzing the previous creep experiment results of coal or rock, one nonlinear damage creep model of coal or rock was founded based on the general Kelvin model. In this model, assumed that the damage is a function of stress level and time, and introduced one nonlinear hardened function into the general Kelvin model, the nonlinear damage fading creep equation and the nonlinear damage creep whole process equation were obtained. Besides this model, considering the composite structure of coal or rock, gas and gas absorption layer, and assuming that this structure has the stick-slip property under the outside load, so a stick-slip module was added in the general Kelvin model and a new nonlinear damage creep model of coal or rock containing gas was founded. Given the value of the material parameters in the two equations, the creep curves varied with the time were drawn under different axial compression. Through the theoretical curves, the nonlinear damage creep model in this paper was proved to be rational.

The term Marketing is as old as the human history itself. It is the basic and core need of human life as it involves from production to consumption that is supposed the complete process of any business. In order to regulate and manage this whole process, it is divided into four main parts: Production, Pricing, Place and Promotion. It is abbreviated as 4 P’s of marketing. Several books and articles are available to understand these concepts and to implement them in someone’s business to get good results. It is necessary to evaluate the term Halal marketing and compare these 4 P’s of conventional Marketing with Islamic concepts of Halal Marketing. In this paper after defining conventional and Islamic Marketing, a complete Quranic Concept of Halal marketing is transcribed, and then a comparative study between Conventional Marketing and Halal Marketing is prepared on the basis of 4 P’s of Marketing.
