During the process of heteroepitaxial growth, if the lattice constant of the growing film differs from that of the substrate, the wafer surface bows, regardless of whether the lattice mismatch occurs or not. As the growth in large-scale wafers speeds up, bowing effects are becoming more and more important. Wafer bowing has a direct impact on the yield in modern mass-production compound semiconductor industries. By using finite element analysis software, the bowing deformation of the GaN wafer on sapphire substrate can be studied. This paper summarizes the causes of bowing deformation, builds the mathematical model, and deduces the relation equation of the wafer bowing. The results show that epitaxial wafer bowing has a linear relationship with the square of the diameter of the substrate but has little relationship with the thickness of the substrate. Moreover, the relation equation of the wafer bowing is also simplified finally.

This paper uses the ABAQUS finite element analysis software for modeling and nonlinear analysis of aircraft tires. Paper H44.5 × 16.5-21 aviation tires, The plastic material of the tire subjected to uniaxial stretching to obtain a rubber such as Young's modulus, Poisson's ratio of the material parameters. Uniaxial tensile test tests the tensile properties of the rubber, the use of large-scale numerical calculations and fitting analysis of the experimental data analysis software Matlab, Yeoh model mechanical parameters.

The connecting rod of a certain type of continuous mill early produces crackle,cannot work,hindering the production.The authors are entrusted with the 3D Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of the connecting rod.On SUN workstation,utilizing the large scale Integrated-Design Engineering Analysis Software,I-DEAS,the authors have constructed accurate 3D solid model of the connecting rod,set up effective 3D FEA model,found the solution of several kinds of law of stress distribution and deformation,reached valuable conclusions.

The design of lifting device for a large-scale dynamic sculpture at tourist district was introduced. According to its own characteristics of lift device, the "back-to-back" style of rack and pinion for the lift system was designed. It was used the finite element analysis software to analyze the strength of the rack and pinion which is a key part of the lift device. According to the stress of dedendum for the pinion is too bad, it was proposed that increased the radius of the fillet for dedendum.

Based on the theory of fatigue life prediction and by using the local stress-strain method and the material S-N curve of Q235 deduced by empirical formula; the fatigue was analyzed for the key parts of large-scale liner vibration screener by means of the general finite element analysis software, ANSYS. Thereby, the working conditions of force bearing, reliability and fatigue life-span of the key parts can be judged. The study will provide a theoretical basis for the design , manufacture, and installation of the large-scale liner vibration screener.

Based on rolling technology of stretch reducing mill group, by using large-scale general-purpose finite element analysis software ANSYS/LS-DYNA, a 3D thermal mechanical coupled numerical calculation of stretch reducing process, stress field, strain field, temperature field and the distribution of wall thickness were obtained, as well as the distribution of asymmetrical metal deformation when pipe passing every mill. The results of numerical simulation provide a reasonable cause for uneven wall thickness distribution, guiding the design of stretch reducing process.

Bored pile as a major type of foundation, during the construction process, hole collapse or weak air tightness of catheter leads mud layers or broken pile, which makes bearing capacity reduction or even complete loss leading differential settlement of building foundations. In this paper, two-dimensional simulation of the pile has been made by finite element analysis software ADINA. By using of large-scale numerical analysis software MATLAB, the data obtained has been fitted deriving empirical formulas, which researches how different thickness and depth of mud layers impact on bearing capacity of bored piles, having a certain engineering applications.

The flow of the molten slag pool determines the temperature distribution and the pool profiles in the electroslag casting process, which impact on the quality of ingot casting. The flow field of the molten slag pool in the electroslag casting process was simulated by the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS, the result of which was completely in accordance with the physical simulation results. It was discussed that the influence of the molten slag flow field was caused by the current, the filling scale and the angle of electrode taper, which provided the scientific basis for the produce of the electroslag casting.

Recirculation is considered as an dual effective way of processing the leachate and accelerating the stabilization of landfill in many treatment because of less land occupation, low investment and simple operation. Previous researches shows that recirculation can improve microenviorment of microbial anaerobic digestion by increasing the moisture content of landfill. The mathematical model of moisture migration in the landfill was established with Multi-physics finite element analysis software in this paper. The simulation result showed that 1) moisture content would decrease to 29% with no leachate recirculation condition 2) hydraulic loads and types of recirculation both had influences on water distribution in landfill sites with leachate recirculation.

Reuse of the waste tires in highway engineering is very important for reducing pollution, protecting environment and resources. At present, the rubber chippings from waste tire have been widely used in construction and maintenance of asphalt concrete road surface. But there is little research about cement stabilized macadam base with crumb rubber. This paper used the large-scale finite element analysis software ANSYS to build the pavement structure model, assuming the contact conditon as continuity, analyzed the effect of asphalt pavement by changing the thickness and modulus of cement stabilized macadam base with crumb rubber. The results showed that the value of vertical displacement of crumb rubber modified cement stabilized macadam base is larger than the value of cement stabilized crushed stones base, and increasing the thickness and reducing the modulus of base can decrease tension stress of base bottom.

Suction valve is a critical and vulnerable component in fluid end of large scale diaphragm pump. Slurry flowing state in suction valve affects transport efficiency and operational life span of diaphragm pump directly. It is necessary to analyze internal flow field of suction valve for confirming structural factors which affect flowing state of slurry. In this paper, suction valve of three-cylinder single-acting diaphragm pumps as a research subject, internal flow fields of suction valves which have different structures are simulated by finite element analysis software ADINA. Velocity distribution graphs and vector graphs of flow field can be obtained from analysis results. Flowing characteristic regulations affected by inner structure of valve are summarized. The research results in the paper provide some theoretical guidance for researching and developing of suction valves and relevant products.
