In recent years, as RFID reader equipment is ever more widely deployed in handled devices, the importance of security problems among RFID reader, tags and server have obviously gained increased attention. However, there are still many security issues preceding transactions; these issues are well worth discussing. In this paper, we propose a novel authentication scheme, conforming EPC C1G2 standards, at a low implementation cost for market application. In order to achieve mutual authentication, the proposed scheme integrates fingerprint biometrics, related cryptology and a hash function mechanism to ensure the security of the transmitted messages. The proposed scheme also can resist known attacks.

The wide use of vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) in the last decade hasled many researchers to find  efficient and reliable methods to obtain the desired benefits and offer services, such as healthcare and traffic management. However, VANETs suffer from security issues represented by authentication and data integrity. In thispaper, we propose a robust  mutual authentication scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), cryptography hash function, and a pseudonym. The  proposed work was twofold in focus: first, on healthcare in emergency cars which use VANETs, and second, on overcoming security issues, such as resisting familiar attacks (e.g. insider attacks and reply attacks). Because of the serious situation generated by the worldwide outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, we also found this research valuable in supporting global efforts to combat the rapid spread of this virus, by finding the safest and fastest routes to epidemic treatment centres for medical staff, assistance teams in medical  operations, fumigation control, and all work teams associated with disease control. This research attempts to contribute by proposing a special signal  used to define epidemic teams. The best route, fast route can be chosen by using VANETs infrastructure. This scheme also deals with metric security features, such as key management, data integrity, and data privacy. In the communication and computation  cost, we  noticed  that our proposed scheme  achieved  good results compared with the related works.

In unmanned aerial vehicle networks (UAVNs), unmanned aerial vehicles with restricted computing and communication capabilities can perform tasks in collaborative manner. However, communications in UAVN confront many security issues, for example, malicious entities may launch impersonate attacks. In UAVN, the command center (CMC) needs to perform mutual authentication with unmanned aerial vehicles in clusters. The aggregator (AGT) can verify the authenticity of authentication request from CMC; then, the attested authentication request is broadcasted to the reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the same cluster. The authentication responses from UAVs can be verified and aggregated by AGT before being sent to CMC for validation. Also, existing solutions cannot resist malicious key generation center (KGC). To address these issues, this paper proposes a pairing-free authentication scheme (CLAS) for UAVNs based on the certificateless signature technology, which supports batch verification at both AGT and CMC sides so that the verification efficiency can be improved greatly. Security analysis shows that our CLAS scheme can guarantee the unforgeability for (attested) authentication request and (aggregate) responses in all phases. Performance analysis indicates that our CLAS scheme enjoys practical efficiency.

In a remote user authentication scheme, a remote server verifies whether a login user is genuine and trustworthy, and also for mutual authentication purpose a login user validates whether the remote server is genuine and trustworthy. Several remote user authentication schemes using the password, the biometrics, and the smart card have been proposed in the literature. However, most schemes proposed in the literature are either computationally expensive or insecure against several known attacks. In this paper, we aim to propose a new robust and effective password-based remote user authentication scheme using smart card. Our scheme is efficient, because our scheme uses only efficient one-way hash function and bitwise XOR operations. Through the rigorous informal and formal security analysis, we show that our scheme is secure against possible known attacks. We perform the simulation for the formal security analysis using the widely accepted AVISPA (Automated Validation Internet Security Protocols and Applications) tool to ensure that our scheme is secure against passive and active attacks. Furthermore, our scheme supports efficiently the password change phase always locally without contacting the remote server and correctly. In addition, our scheme performs significantly better than other existing schemes in terms of communication, computational overheads, security, and features provided by our scheme.

The well-known password authentication mechanisms are widely used in networks to protect resources from unauthorized access. The ad hoc networks, due to their dynamic and lack of network infrastructure features, require authentication schemes to ensure security. In this paper, we propose a new threshold password authentication scheme for ad hoc networks. Our scheme can be efficiently implemented in mobile devices, and can achieve mutual authentication with registered users.

Cloud computing was a hasting expertise which has innovated to a collection of new explores. A sub-ordinate device for Information services, it has an ability towards encourage development by feeding convenient environments for a choice of forms of development is different sequence. Clouds usually consider being eco-friendly, however keep it has open to the diversity of some security issues to can change together the feeder as well as users of these cloud services. In this issue are principally associated to the protection of the information flow throughout also being store in the cloud, with simple problems along with data ease of use, data right to use and data confidentiality. Data encryption and service authentication scheme has been initiated by the industries to deal with them. In this paper analyse and examine different issues on security beside with the different procedure worn by the industries to solve these effects.
