We improve the viscosity approximation process for approximation of a fixed point of a quasi-nonexpansive mapping in a Hilbert space proposed by Maingé (2010). An example beyond the scope of the previously known result is given.

We introduce an Ishikawa iterative scheme by the viscosity approximate method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert space. Then, we prove some strong convergence theorems which extend and generalize S. Takahashi and W. Takahashi's results (2007).

In this paper, we introduce four new iterative schemes by modifying the CQ-method with Ishikawa and [Formula: see text]-iterations. The strong convergence theorems are given by the CQ-projection method with our modified iterations for obtaining a common fixed point of two [Formula: see text]-nonexpansive mappings in a Hilbert space with a directed graph. Finally, to compare the rate of convergence and support our main theorems, we give some numerical experiments.

In the literature, the most authors modify the viscosity methods or hybrid projection methods to construct the strong convergence algorithms for solving the pseudomonotone equilibrium problems. In this paper, we introduce some new extragradient methods with non-convex combination to solve the pseudomonotone equilibrium problems in Hilbert space and prove the strong convergence for the constructed algorithms. Our algorithms are very different with the existing ones in the literatures. As the application, the fixed point theorems for strict pseudo-contraction are considered. Finally, some numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the algorithms.

Very recently, Moudafi (2011) introduced an algorithm with weak convergence for the split common fixed-point problem. In this paper, we will continue to consider the split common fixed-point problem. We discuss the strong convergence of the viscosity approximation method for solving the split common fixed-point problem for the class of quasi-nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many others.

Strong convergence theorems are established in a real Hilbert space under some suitable conditions. Our theorems presented in this paper improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many others.

In this paper anew algorithm considered on a real Hilbert space for finding acommonpoint in the solution set of a class of pseudomonotone equilibrium problem and the set of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings. We produce this algorithm by mappings Tk that are approximations of non-expansive mapping T. The strong convergence theorem of the proposed algorithms is investigated. Our results generalize some recent results in the literature.

We introduce the new iterative methods for finding a common solution set of monotone, Lipschitz-type continuous equilibrium problems and the set of fixed point of nonexpansive mappings which is a unique solution of some variational inequality. We prove the strong convergence theorems of such iterative scheme in a real Hilbert space. The main result extends various results existing in the current literature.

AbstractWe prove strong convergence of the sequence generated by implicit viscosity approximation method involving a multivalued nonexpansive mapping in framework of CAT(0) space. Under certain appropriate conditions on parameters, we show that such a sequence converges strongly to a fixed point of the mapping which solves a variational inequality. We also present some convergence results for the implicit viscosity approximation method in complete ℝ-trees without the endpoint condition.

In this paper, we introduce a new method based on the well‐known Krasnoselskii‐Mann's method for non‐expansive mappings in Hilbert spaces. We show that the proposed method has strong convergence for non‐expansive mappings.
