This paper is concerned with the problem of robust reliable stabilization of switched nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and delayed switching is investigated. The parameter uncertainties are allowed to be norm-bounded. The switching instants of the controller experience delays with respect to those of the system. The purpose of this problem is to design a reliable state feedback controller such that, for all admissible parameter uncertainties and actuator failure, the system state of the closed-loop system is exponentially stable. We show that the addressed problem can be solved by means of algebraic matrix inequalities. The explicit expression of the desired robust controllers is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs).

This paper investigates the problem of robust H∞ observer-based control for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems with time-varying delays and parameters uncertainties. We propose an observer-based controller. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some sufficient conditions are developed to ensure the closed-loop system is robust asymptotically stable with H∞ performance in terms of the linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the efficiency of proposed methods.

This paper addresses the stabilization problem for a class of switched nonlinear systems with Lipschitz nonlinearities using the multiple Lyapunov functions (MLFs) approach. A state feedback controller and a state dependent switching law are proposed to asymptotic stabilization the switched system via linear matrix inequalities (LMI). The developed control strategy ensures asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system even if the nonlinear part . Finally, the feasibility of the proposed method is illustrated through a simulation example

For a class of uncertain generalized discrete linear system with norm-bounded parameter uncertainties, the state feedback robust control problem is studied. One sufficient condition for the solvability of the problem and the state feedback robust controller are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The designed controller guarantees that the closed-loop systems is regular, causal, stable and satisfies a prescribed norm bounded constraint for all admissible uncertain parameters under some conditions. The result of the normal discrete system can be regarded as a particular form of our conclusion. A simulation example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper deals with the problems ofℋ∞performance and stability analysis for linear systems with interval time-varying delays. It is assumed that the parameter uncertainties are of stochastic properties to represent random change of various environments. By constructing a newly augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, less conservative criteria of the concerned systems are introduced with the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Four numerical examples are given to show the improvements over the existing ones and the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

This paper considers the problem of robust exponential stability for a class of recurrent neural networks with time-varying delays and parameter uncertainties. The time delays are not necessarily differentiable and the uncertainties are assumed to be time-varying but norm-bounded. Sufficient conditions, which guarantee that the concerned uncertain delayed neural network is robustly, globally, exponentially stable for all admissible parameter uncertainties, are obtained under a weak assumption on the neuron activation functions. These conditions are dependent on the size of the time delay and expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the proposed stability results.

The delay-dependent resilient robust finite-timeL2-L∞control problem of uncertain neutral time-delayed system is studied. The disturbance input is assumed to be energy bounded and the time delays are time-varying. Based on the Lyapunov function approach and linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) techniques, a state feedback controller is designed to guarantee that the resulted closed-loop system is finite-time bounded for all uncertainties and to satisfy a givenL2-L∞constraint condition. Simulation results illustrate the validity of the proposed approach.

A global exponential stability method for a class of discrete time recurrent neural networks with interval time-varying delays and norm-bounded time-varying parameter uncertainties is developed in this paper. The method is derived based on a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional to exhibit the delay-range-dependent dynamics and to compensate for the enlarged time-span. In addition, it eliminates the need for over bounding and utilizes smaller number of LMI decision variables. Effective solutions to the global stability problem are provided in terms of feasibility-testing of parameterized linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the potential of the developed technique.

This paper is concerned with the problem of robust reliable H∞ control for a class of uncertain Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy systems with actuator failures and time-varying delay. The main objective is to design a state feedback reliable H∞ controller such that, for all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failure cases, the resulting closed-loop system is robustly asymptotically stable with a prescribed H∞ performance level. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF) method together with linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, a delay dependent sufficient condition is established in terms of LMIs for the existence of robust reliable H∞ controller. When these LMIs are feasible, a robust reliable H∞ controller can be obtained. Finally, two numerical examples with simulation result are utilized to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of our obtained result.

This paper is concerned with the stochasticH∞state feedback control problem for a class of discrete-time singular systems with state and disturbance dependent noise. Two stochastic bounded real lemmas (SBRLs) are proposed via strict linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Based on the obtained SBRLs, a state feedbackH∞controller is presented, which not only guarantees the resulting closed-loop system to be mean square admissible but also satisfies a prescribedH∞performance level. A numerical example is finally given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

In this paper, we investigate the problem of robust H∞ filter design for a class of discrete-time nonlinear systems. The systems under consider involves time-varying delays and parameters uncertainties. The main objective is to design a linear full-order filter to ensure that the resulting filtering error system is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H∞ performance level. By constructing an appropriate Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, some novel sufficient conditions are established to guarantee the filter error dynamics system is robust asymptotically stable with H∞ performance γ , and the H∞ filter is designed in term of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficiency of proposed method.
