A 62-year-old white woman with an unremarkable past medical history presented with acute cholecystitis. A cholecystectomy was performed, revealing an acute hemorrhagic and chronic cholecystitis associated with cholelithiasis. Two months after the operation, the patient developed a massive hemoperitoneum and died by hypo-volemic shock. At autopsy, an angiosarcoma measuring 5 cm in diameter was found in the liver, at the site of the gallbladder fossa. There were multiple hepatic, splenic, ovarian and peritoneal metastases and a massive hemoperitoneum consisting of 8 L of blood and blood clots. Review of the tissue sections from the patient's gallbladder confirmed the presence of an acute hemorrhagic and chronic cholecystitis and also revealed residual foci of an angiosarcoma. A review of eight previously reported cases of gallbladder angiosarcoma is also presented.

Gemcitabine is a chemotherapeutic agent used in a wide variety of solid tumours. Known side effects include a dose-limiting myelosuppressive toxicity, mild rash, and radiation-dependent dermatitis. Rarely, localized inflammation in the form of pseudocellulitis has also been observed. We present the case of a 77-year-old woman with a history of a Whipple procedure for pancreatic adenocarcinoma who presented to the emergency department after the start of gemcitabine therapy with increased erythema, swelling, and tenderness in her lower legs. Relevant past medical history included peripheral vascular disease, dyslipidemia, and hypertension. A diagnosis of gemcitabine-induced pseudocellulitis aggravated by venous stasis was confirmed after an extensive workup. This case report and the literature review describe this rare reaction, highlighting the need for increased recognition to avoid unnecessary therapeutic intervention.

Introduction. Subvesical bile duct (SVBD) injury is a secondary major cause of minor bile duct injury after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC). However, this injury is usually not recognized intraoperatively, but postoperatively. Case Report. Case 1: the patient was an 84-year-old female, preoperatively diagnosed with acute cholecystitis. During LC, a tiny hole in the gallbladder fossa from which bile juice oozing was confirmed. Suturing was performed laparoscopically. Case 2: the patient was an 81-year-old male, preoperatively diagnosed with cholelithiasis. Because of a previous history of gastrectomy, laparoscopic adhesiolysis around the gallbladder was performed. During dissection, a small amount of bile was oozing from the surface of the liver adjacent to the gallbladder fossa. Suturing was performed laparoscopically. Conclusion. If a small amount of bile juice was detected, meticulous observation not only around the cystic duct stump but also the gallbladder fossa should be performed. Simultaneous laparoscopic suturing was feasible, and an ideal procedure against SVBD injury developed during LC.

We present a case of a 34-year-old male with a unilateral papillary cystadenoma of the right epididymis (PCE). His past medical history is remarkable for Von Hippel–Lindau disease (VHLD), bilateral renal clear cell carcinoma, and hemangioblastomas. The patient noticed an abnormality with mild tenderness in the right scrotum. Ultrasound (US) of the right scrotum demonstrated a solid and cystic epididymal lesion. In this case report, we present the sonographic features of the PCE in the setting of a patient with VHLD.
