In this talk we review the theoretical status of the lifetime ratios of heavy hadrons and of the B-mixing quantities ΔMs, ΔΓs and φs. While ΔMs and ΔΓs suffer from large uncertainties due to the badly known decay constants, the ratio ΔΓs/ΔMs can be determined with almost no non-perturbative uncertainties, therefore it can be used to look for possible new physics effects.

The possibilities of B′ meson mixing is discussed. It is found that if fB′ is not much smaller than fπ, B's (or B'd) mixing is possible if |Vt′s Vt′b′/Vcb′| is large, but only for not too heavy b′ masses, e.g. below LEP I energies. The B'b meson will have large mixing for a broad range of parameters; however, it is hard to produce. The vector mesons (B′*) may exhibit mixing phenomena as well. A discussion of our present understanding of meson decay constants of a heavy-light system [Formula: see text] is given. Further efforts on this problem is needed, which will have an impact on our understanding of B mixing as well.

Among the different scenarios of New Physics, those with an extended Higgs sector are examined with a lot of attention. Recent experimental observations of several anomalies in flavour physics with respect to expectations of the Standard Model further motivate the effort of phenomenologists. First, informations about the RDs ratio, a test of lepton flavour universality equivalent to RD, already measured, but with the s quark as spectator, are awaited in coming years to constrain the corner of an extended Higgs sector with charged doublets. On another side, leptonic widths of pseudoscalar quarkonia are particularly interesting to test an extended Higgs sector with a light CP-odd Higgs boson singlet, through the study of its mixing with quarkonia states. Hadronic parameters entering those processes have to be determined from lattice QCD with enough confidence on the control of systematic errors. We report on the very first step of a long-term program tackled with Nf = 2 Wilson-Clover fermions to put relevant constraints on extensions of the Higgs sector: extraction of decay constants of D*s, ƞc, ƞc (2S), J/Ψ and Ψ(2S) with lattice ensembles provided by the CLS effort, considering 2 lattice spacings and a large range of pion masses to estimate cut-off effects and extrapolate results to the chiral limit.

Decay and spectroscopic properties of vector and scalar diquarks have been studied. The decay widths and decay constants of scalar and vector diquarks have been estimated in the frame work of quasi particle model of diquark. The decay widths of exotic baryons like,Δ, N, θ+ have been investigated. The investigation is important in the view of LHC era where existence of new particle (new Physics) are expected including the colored objects like diquarks. The results obtained are compared with existing theoretical and experimental works wherever available. Some interesting observations are made.

This review discusses the present experimental and theoretical status of rare flavor-changing neutral current b-quark decays at the beginning of 2018. It includes a discussion of the experimental situation and details of the currently observed anomalies in measurements of flavor observables, including lepton flavor universality. Progress on the theory side within and beyond the Standard Model theory is also discussed, together with potential New Physics interpretations of the present measurements.
