Effect of temperature on yields in the radiolysis of nitrous oxide with high intensity electron pulses
Keyword(s):
Nitrous oxide has been irradiated with single electron pulses at a dose rate of 0.8 × 1027 eV/g s at temperatures between 24 and 500 °C. The gas yields showed no dependence on temperature below 200 °C but above this G(N2) increased and G(O2) decreased. The yields were found to be independent of dose up to 4 × 1020 eV/g.
