Nuclear magnetic susceptibility of He adsorbed on sintered silver was measured by a superconducting quantum interference detector magnetometer. For the external field of 6G, the susceptibility increased drastically below 1 mK, but then it did not continue to diverge and rolled off below 0.36 mK [Formula: see text]. We looked for a spontaneous magnetization of the present system under zero field (≤ 10 mG) but have seen nothing down to 0.15 mK.
