ÉTUDE D'UNE POPULATION DE BACTÉRIES RÉDUCTRICES DU SOUFRE
Keyword(s):
A study has been made of the populations of sulphur-reducing bacteria in a certain section of the Ottawa river.Not only have the numbers of these populations been determined over a 10-mile section, but also several factors such as dissolved oxygen and biochemical oxygen demand have been examined for their relation with the variations in number of these same populations.The yield of sulphate-waste liquors in numbers of population supported as well as the amount of hydrogen sulphide produced under natural conditions have also been studied.
