The tunneling radiation of particles from Born–Infeld anti-de Sitter black holes is studied by using the Parikh–Wilczek method and the emission rate of a particle is calculated. It is shown that the emission rate is related to the change of the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy of the black hole and the emission spectrum deviates from the purely thermal spectrum but is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.

The Hawking radiation of charged particles from black holes in the Hořava–Lifshitz (HL) gravity is investigated by using the Parikh–Wilczek (PW) method, and the emission rate is calculated. The emission spectrum is not purely thermal and is consistent with an underlying unitary theory. Some other characteristics exist for a HL gravity black hole. Assuming the conventional tunnelling rate associated with the change of entropy, the entropy of the HL gravity black hole is obtained. The entropy is not proportional to the horizon area because a logarithmic term exists. However, it complies with the first law of thermodynamics and is in accord with earlier results.

Extending the Parikh’s method of quantum tunneling radiation, Hawking radiation via tunneling from the cosmological horizon of NUT-Kerr-Newman de Sitter black hole is deeply studied. The result shows that the tunneling rate on the cosmological horizon is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the real spectrum is not strictly thermal at all, but is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.

In Anti-de Sitter space-time, we develop the Parikh-Wilczek’s semi-classical quantum tunneling method to investigate the Hawking radiation of the charged massive particle via tunneling from a plane symmetry black hole. The result shows that, when taking self-gravitation interaction into account, the tunneling rate of the charged massive particle is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy, and that the exact emission spectrum is not strictly pure thermal, but is consistent with the underlying unitary theory.

Applying Parikh–Wilczek's semiclassical quantum tunneling method, we investigate the tunneling radiation characteristics of a torus-like black hole and Kerr–Newman–Kausya de Sitter black hole. Both black holes have the cosmological constant Λ, but a torus-like black hole is in anti-de Sitter spacetime and the other black hole is in de Sitter spacetime. The derived results show that the tunneling rate is related to the change of Bekenstein–Hawking entropy, and the factual radiated spectrum is not precisely thermal, but is consistent with an underlying unitary theory, which gives a might explanation to the paradox of black hole information lost.

Semiclassical black holes emit radiation called Hawking radiation. Such radiation, as seen by an asymptotic observer far outside the black hole, differs from the original radiation near the horizon of the black hole by a redshift factor and the so-called "greybody factor." In this paper, we concentrate on the greybody factor; various bounds for the greybody factors of non-rotaging black holes are obtained, concentrating primarily on charged Reissner–Nordström (RN) and RN–de Sitter black holes. These bounds can be derived using a 2 × 2 transfer matrix formalism. It is found that the charges of black holes act as efficient barriers. Furthermore, adding extra dimensions to spacetime can shield Hawking radiation. Finally, it is also found that the cosmological constant can increase the emission rate of Hawking radiation.

We study the semiclassical tunneling of scalar and fermion fields from the horizon of a Constant Curvature Black Hole, which is locally AdS and whose five-dimensional analogue is dual to [Formula: see text] super-Yang–Mills. In particular, we highlight the strong reliance of the tunneling method for Hawking radiation on near-horizon symmetries, a fact often hidden behind the algorithmic procedure with which the tunneling approach tends to be used. We ultimately calculate the emission rate of scalars and fermions, and hence the black hole's Hawking temperature.

Based on the definition of the interior volume of spherically symmetry black holes, the interior volume of Schwarzschild–(Anti) de Sitter black holes is calculated. It is shown that with the cosmological constant ([Formula: see text]) increasing, the changing behaviors of both the position of the largest hypersurface and the interior volume for the Schwarzschild–Anti de Sitter black hole are the same as the Schwarzschild–de Sitter black hole. Considering a scalar field in the interior volume and Hawking radiation with only energy, the evolution relation between the scalar field entropy and Bekenstein–Hawking entropy is constructed. The results show that the scalar field entropy is approximately proportional to Bekenstein–Hawking entropy during Hawking radiation. Meanwhile, the proportionality coefficient is also regarded as a constant approximately with the increasing [Formula: see text]. Furthermore, considering [Formula: see text] as a dynamical variable, the modified Stefan–Boltzmann law is proposed which can be used to describe the variation of both the mass and [Formula: see text] under Hawking radiation. Using this modified law, the evolution relation between the two types of entropy is also constructed. The results show that the coefficient for Schwarzschild–de Sitter black holes is closer to a constant than the one for Schwarzschild–Anti de Sitter black holes during the evaporation process. Moreover, we find that for Hawking radiation carrying only energy, the evolution relation is a special case compared with the situation that the mass and [Formula: see text] are both considered as dynamical variables.

We have explored Hawking non-thermal and purely thermal radiations of Kerr-anti-de Sitter (KAdS) black hole using massive particles tunneling method by taking into account the space time background as dynamical, energy and angular momentum as conserved incorporating the selfgravitation effect of the emitted particles. The results we have obtained for KAdS black hole have shown that the tunneling rates are related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the derived emission spectrum deviates from the pure thermal spectrum and also the obtaining results for KAdS black hole are accordant with Parikh and Wilczek’s opinion and gives a correction to the Hawking radiation of KAdS black hole.GANIT J. Motivated by recent astrophysical observations, we investigate the shadow behaviors of four-dimensional charged rotating black holes with a cosmological constant. This study is made in terms of a reduced moduli space parameterized by the charge and the rotation parameters. For fixed observers, we analyse in some details the shadow behaviors and the corresponding naked singularities of Kerr–Newman and Kerr–Sen four-dimensional black holes in Anti-de Sitter backgrounds. Then, a comparative discussion is provided by computing the geometrical observables and the energy emission rate.

When a particle with angular momentum tunnels across the event horizon of Schwarzschild–de Sitter black hole, the black hole will change into a Kerr–de Sitter one. Considering Hawking radiation as a process of quantum tunnelling near a black-hole horizon, the emission rate of the particles with angular momentum is calculated under energy and angular momentum conservation, and the result is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.PACS Nos.: 97.60.Lf, 04.70.Dy, 03.65.Pm
