The classification of the genera belonging to the doryctine tribe Rhaconotini (Braconidae) is updated. The following new taxa are described: Troporhaconotus gen. nov. (with 12 species), Afroipodoryctes subgen. nov. (of Ipodoryctes Granger, 1949) (with three species), Hexarhaconotinus subgen. nov. (of Rhaconotinus Hedqvist, 1965) (with ten species), Bathycentor zimbabwensis sp. nov., Ipodoryctes (Afroipodoryctes) reunionus sp. nov., I. (A.) saintphilippensis sp. nov., Platyspathius (Platyspathius) venezuelicus sp. nov., P. (P.) ranomafanus sp. nov., Rhacontsira haeselbarthi sp. nov., Rh. mozambiquensis sp. nov., Rh. saigonensis sp. nov. and Rh. toamasina sp. nov. The generic status of Euryphrymnus Cameron, 1910 is resurrected. The generic name Aptenobracon Marsh, 1965 is synonymised under Rhaconotus Ruthe, 1854 (syn. nov.); Rhaconotus asiaticus Belokobylskij, 1990 is synonymised under Rh. kerzhneri Belokobylskij, 1985 (syn. nov.). The new name, Rhaconotinus austrochinensis nom. nov., is suggested for the preoccupied name Rhaconotus chinensis Chen & Shi, 2004 (December) not Rhaconotus chinensis Belokobylskij & Chen, 2004 (June). New species contents, in many cases with numerous new combinations, are suggested for the genera Bathycentor Saussure, 1892, Euryphrymnus Cameron, 1910, Ipodoryctes Granger, 1949, Rhaconotinus Hedqvist, 1965 and Rhaconotus. The tribe Leptorhaconotini is synonymised with Rhaconotini based on previously published molecular phylogenetic studies, though we leave this group within the subtribe Leptorhaconotina.

New species of Wrightoporia Pouz. from Africa and Asia have features that overlap the limits of Amylonotus Ryv. We found dextrinoidicity, wall coloration of the skeletal hyphae, and the general morphology of the fruit bodies to be variable features in both genera. Gloeopleurous hyphae and gloeocystidia or pseudocystidia occur in all species of these genera so far studied. The synonymy of Amylonotus with Wrightoporia is proposed. The following new taxa are described: Wrightoporia dimidiata David & Rajch., W. gillesii David & Rajch., and W. ramosa David & Rajch. Two new combinations are proposed: W. flava (Ryv.) David & Rajch. and W. ochrocrocea (Henn. & Nyman) David & Rajch.; W. pouzarii David & Rajch. is a new name for A. africanus Ryv. Cultural characters of W. flava (Ryv.) David & Rajch., W. gillesii David & Rajch., and W. tropicalis (Cke.) Ryv. are described. The position of W. cylindrospora Ryv. and W. tropicalis (Cke.) Ryv. in the context of the genus and the relationships of Amylosporus Ryv., Heterobasidion Bref., and Wrightoporia Pouz. are discussed. Rigidoporopsis Johans. & Ryv. is considered a synonym of Amylosporus Ryv.

The terrestrial orchid genus Bhutanthera Renz (subfamily Orchidoideae, tribe Orchideae), comprising five species, three newly described here, is established. A new species, Herminium pygmaeum Renz, and three new varieties, Bulbophyllum cauliflorum Hook.f. var. sikkimense N. Pearce & P. J. Cribb, Cephalanthera erecta (Thunb.) Bl. var. oblanceolata N. Pearce & P. J. Cribb, and Gymnadenia orchidis Lindl. var. pantlingii Renz, are here newly described. Five new combinations and one new name are proposed. Four new sections of Bulbophyllum are also established and their relationships discussed.

The genus Melaleuca currently is the subject of taxonomic revision. In this paper, the 219 Australian and Tasmanian species of Melaleuca sens. Austral. auctt. that are considered to represent Melaleuca are listed together with their infraspecific taxa, taxonomic and nomenclatural synonyms are given, and new names resulting from changes in taxonomic rank and/or the recognition of new taxa are validated. Identification keys are also provided. Of the new names, 48, 3 and 2 result from the recognition of new species, new subspecies and new varieties, respectively, 7 from new combinations and 1 from the provision of a new name. An invalidly published name is validated. The epithet and authority of new taxa are: amydra Craven, apodocephala subsp. calcicola Barlow ex Craven, barlowii Craven, beardii Craven, boeophylla Craven, borealis Craven, brophyiCraven, caeca Craven, calyptroides Craven, campanae Craven, carrii Craven, clavifolia Craven, condylosa Craven, croxfordiae Craven, delta Craven, eulobata Craven, eurystoma Barlow ex Craven, fabri Craven, glena Craven, grieveana Craven, halophila Craven, hnatiukii Craven, hollidayi Craven, huttensis Craven, idana Craven, johnsonii Craven, keigheryi Craven, laetifica Craven, lara Craven, leuropoma Craven, linguiformis Craven, longistaminea subsp. spectabilis Barlow ex Craven, orbicularis Craven, papillosa Turcz. ex Craven, pentagona var. raggedensis Craven, phoidophylla Barlow ex Craven, plumea Craven, podiocarpa Barlow ex Craven, procera Craven, ryeae Craven, sapientes Craven, similis Craven, societatis Craven, stereophloia Craven, stramentosa Craven, thapsina Craven, tinkeri Craven, tuberculata var. macrophylla Craven, venusta Craven, villosisepala Craven, viminea subsp. demissa Quinn ex Craven, wonganensis Craven, zonalis Craven; of new combinations: dempta (Barlow) Craven, eximia (K.J.Cowley) Craven, longistaminea (F.Muell.) A survey of freshwater fungi on submerged wood in China and Thailand resulted in the collection of three species in Dictyocheirospora and four species in Dictyosporium including two new species in the latter genus. Morphological characters and phylogenetic analyses based on ITS, LSU and TEF1α sequence data support their placement in Dictyocheirospora and Dictyosporium (Dothideomycetes). An updated backbone tree is provided for the family Dothideomycetes. Descriptions and illustrations of the new taxa and re-collections are provided. Four new combinations are proposed for Dictyocheirospora.

The Detarieae, a small tribe of tropical arborescent Leguminosae, has been reported as host of two species of jumping plant-lice: the Neotropical Macrocorsa beeryi (Caldwell) on Hymenaea courbaril and the Afrotropical Retroacizzia mopanei (Pettey) on Colophospermum mopane. Here we add from Brazil 18 new species of Colophorina, Jataiba gen. nov. and Mitrapsylla from Copaifera, as well as nine species of Jataiba gen. nov. and Platycorypha from Hymenaea. In addition to Jataiba, a new genus which is created for five new species on Copaifera and one on Hymenaea, we erect the new genus Apsyllopsis for Psyllopsis mexicana, which is synonymised with Psyllia beeryi Caldwell. Two new combinations are proposed: Apsyllopsis mexicana (Crawford), comb. nov. from Psyllopsis, and Epiacizzia favis (Brown & Hodkinson), comb. nov. from Euphalerus. The new taxa are described and illustrated, and keys are provided for the identification of adults and immatures, as far as known. Immatures of Apsyllopsis and Colophorina induce galls on the leaves whereas those of the other taxa are free-living. Colophorina spp. seem to be monophagous whereas members of the other genera tend to be oligophagous. All host species are associated with two or more psyllid species. Copaifera langsdorffii, which hosts 11 species of three genera, constitutes a super-host.
