The present paper studies the random versions of some deterministic fixed point theorems of Dhage [5] and Dhage and Regon [7]. Applications are given to a certain nonlinear functional random integral equation for proving the existence of random solution under the generalized Lipschitzicity and Caratheodory conditions.

The aim of this manuscript is to initiate the study of the Banach contraction in R-fuzzy b-metric spaces and discuss some related fixed point results to ensure the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point. A nontrivial example is imparted to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed methods. Finally, to validate the superiority of the provided results, an application is presented to solve the first kind of a Fredholm-type integral equation.

Combining the approaches of functionals associated with h-concave functions and fixed point techniques, we study the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a class of nonlinear integral equation: x(t) = g1(t)-g2(t) + ? ?t,0 V1(t,s)h1(s,x(s))ds + ? ?T,0 V2(t,s)h2(s,x(s))ds; where C([0,T];R) denotes the space of all continuous functions on [0,T] equipped with the uniform metric and t?[0,T], ?,? are real numbers, g1, g2 ? C([0, T],R) and V1(t,s), V2(t,s), h1(t,s), h2(t,s) are continuous real-valued functions in [0,T]xR.

In this paper, we introduce the concept of fuzzy double controlled metric space that can be regarded as the generalization of fuzzy b-metric space, extended fuzzy b-metric space and controlled fuzzy metric space. We use two non-comparable functions α and β in the triangular inequality as: M q ( x , z , t α ( x , y ) + s β ( y , z ) ) ≥ M q ( x , y , t ) ∗ M q ( y , z , s ) . We prove Banach contraction principle in fuzzy double controlled metric space and generalize the Banach contraction principle in aforementioned spaces. We give some examples to support our main results. An application to existence and uniqueness of solution for an integral equation is also presented in this work.

AbstractUsing a global inversion theorem we investigate properties of the following operator\matrix{\matrix{ V(x)( \cdot ): = {x^\Delta }( \cdot ) + \int_0^ \cdot {v\left( { \cdot ,\tau ,x,\left( \tau \right)} \right)} \Delta \tau , \hfill \cr \,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,x(0) = 0, \hfill \cr}\cr {} \cr }in a time scale setting. Under some assumptions on the nonlinear term v we then show that there exists exactly one solution {x_y} \in W_{\Delta ,0}^{1,p}\left( {{{[0,1]}_\mathbb{T}},{\mathbb{R}^N}} \right) to the associated integral equation\left\{ {\matrix{{{x^\Delta }(t) + \int_0^t {v\left( {t,\tau ,x\left( \tau \right)} \right)} \Delta \tau = y(t)\,\,\,for\,\Delta - a.e.\,\,\,t \in {{[0.1]}_\mathbb{T}},} \cr {x(0) = 0,} \cr } } \right.which is considered on a suitable Sobolev space.

Abstract In this paper we introduce a new fuzzy contraction mapping and prove that such mappings have fixed point in $\tau$-complete fuzzy metric spaces. As an application, we shall utilize the results obtained to show the existence and uniqueness of random solution for the following random linear random operator equation. Moreover, we shall show that the existence and uniqueness of the solutions for nonlinear Volterra integral equations on a kind of particular fuzzy metric space.

Some linear and nonlinear Gamidov type integral inequalities in two variables are established, which can give the explicit bounds on the solutions to a class of Volterra-Fredholm integral equations. Some examples of application are presented to show boundedness and uniqueness of solutions of a Volterra-Fredholm type integral equation.
