[5-(Adenin-9-yl)-5-deoxypentofuranosyl]phosphonates, a new type of nucleotide analogs with fixed HPMPA structure, have been prepared. The synthesis of compounds of L-arabino (IIa, IIb), D-arabino(XIVa, XIVb), 2-deoxy-L-erythro(IIIa, IIIb) and 2-deoxy-L-threo(IVa, IVb) configuration is based on the Michelis-Arbuzov reaction of the fully protected methyl glycosides with triethyl phosphite and trimethylsilyl triflate which leads to anomeric mixture of diethyl (L-pentofuranosyl) phosphonates. The protected 5-O-tosyl derivatives react with sodium salt of adenine to give N9-substituted products which after total deprotection afforded the tittle nucleotide analogs. The fixation of the partial structure of HPMPA to form five-membered ring leads to a significant decrease, or a total loss, of biological activity.

Microwave (MW) assisted reactions have became a powerful tool in azaheterocycles chemistry during the last decades. Five and six membered ring azaheterocycles are privileged scaffolds in modern medicinal chemistry possessing a large variety of biological activity. This review is focused on the recent relevant advances in the MW assisted reactions applied to azaheterocyclic derivatives and their medicinal chemistry applications from the last five years. The review is divided according to the main series of azaheterocycles, more precisely 5- and 6-membered ring azaheterocycles (with one, two, and more heteroatoms) and their fused analogues. In each case, the reaction pathways, the advantages of using MW, and considerations concerning biological activity of the obtained products were briefly presented.

The structure of the plate rib roof can’t meet the need of the constantly enlarging storage tanks, thus more steel/aluminum net shell roofs have been used on the large storage tanks. The bearing between the roof and the tank wall is a key component, because it directly affects the strength and stability of the net shell roof. In this paper, a new type of net shell roof bearing structure is proposed in order to relieve the stress on the bearing and the net shell roof. The proposed structure has several features compared with the existing bearings: the net shell roof with the new bearing can allow a certain amount of radial displacement, and the bearing can also rotate within a certain angle. According to the actual loading status, strength and stability analysis of the overall net shell roof and the bearing’s partial structure are carried out respectively. The overall model of the net shell roof is established by ANSYS, and different boundary conditions are defined on the roof under two working conditions of “full-span live load” and “half-span live load”. Then the overall static strength calculation and stability analysis of the roof are completed. Based on the results of the overall analysis, the strength of the bearing’s partial model is analyzed in ANSYS Workbench. Research shows that when the net shell roof is under load, the roof is allowed to make radial displacement and the bearing to make angular displacement. Thus the burden on the bearing and the net shell roof is relieved, and the strength and stability of the overall roof meet the requirements. Moreover, many regions of the bearing can share the horizontal force, which helps to reduce the load on the bolts and improve the safety of the bearing structure. And the strength of the bearing meets the requirements.

: The present review focuses on the synthesis of cyclic 5-deoxynucleoside phosphonate analogs. The formation of various phosphonate alkyl moieties is accomplished through (i) Wittig (or HWE) type condensation to the nucleoside aldehyde moiety; (ii) nucleophilic displacement reaction using phosphonate anion or Lewis acid; (iii) Arbuzov reaction; (iv) olefin cross-metathesis between vinyl phosphonates and vinylated nucleosides; and (v) radical reaction and Pd catalyzed alkyne. For the coupling of nucleobases with cyclic moieties, the Mitsunobu reaction, and Sonogashira-type cross-coupling are usually applied. For the coupling of furanose moieties with nucleobases, Vorbrüggen-type condensation is generally applied. Addition reactions mediated by selenium ions are mainly applied for the coupling of carbocyclic moieties. Their biological activity results are summarized.
