Two series of compounds have been prepared and studied by means of 119Sn, 13C, and 1H NMR spectroscopy, viz. aryloxy- and N-heteroaryloxytris(1-butyl)stannanes and their thio analogues Bu3SnER, and diaryloxy- and di(N-heteroaryloxy)bis(1-butyl)stannanes and their thio analogues Bu2Sn(ER)2, where E means oxygen or sulfur, Bu is 1-butyl, R = phenyl, 1-naphthyl, or 8-quinolyl. On the basis of mutual comparison of NMR spectral parameters of both series of organotin compounds and their comparison with NMR spectral parameters of analogous, purely organic compounds CH3ER it is possible to discuss the consequences of the presence of tin atoms in the organotin substituents and of nitrogen heteroatoms in the aromatic systems, and the therefrom following structure of the organotin compounds studied.

The 1H NMR fingerprints of fractionated non-polar extracts (CSPD A) from the roots of Angelica sinensis of six different specimens were assigned by comparison with the 1H NMR spectra of the isolated pure compounds. The 1H NMR fingerprints showed exclusively characteristic resonance signals of the major constituents of the plant. The 1H NMR fingerprint established for an authentic sample of A. sinensis can be used for authenticating A. sinensis species.

Some novel organic compounds of the type: cis, cis-1,3,5-tris(X)cyclohexane, where X= –CONH(CH2)2NH2, –CONH(CH2)3NH2, –CONH(CH2)2NCH –C6H4OH, CONH(CH2)3NCHC6H4OH, which are expected to function as potential polydentate chelators have been synthesised from 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid through multi-steps reactions. 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid was reduced to cis, cis-1,3,5-tris(ethylcarboxylate)cyclohexane, which on reaction with excess of 1,2-diaminoethane and 1,2-diaminopropane afforded two new compounds. Condensation of the obtained derivatives with three equivalents of salicylaldehyde resulted the formation of two new Schiff base compounds. All the compounds were characterised by a combination of elemental analysis, mass, IR, UV-Vis, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy.

The 1H and 13C{1H} nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra of diphenylchloroarsine, diphenylcyanoarsine, and 10-chloro-5,10-dihydrophenarsazine were recorded from samples prepared in CDCl3, CD2Cl2, and (CD3)2CO. Spectra were analyzed, and detailed 1H NMR spectral parameters were determined by iterative analysis. Simulation of spectra and their use as reference spectra for identification of the compounds under different conditions are discussed.
