Indriyani et al, (2013) stated that many students had dificulty in understanding the generic structure of analytical exposition text. Therefore, the present study tried to investigate the correlation between students understanding in writing generic structure of analytical exposition and the quality of students’ writing in second grade of senior hight school. Grounded in explanatory correlational research design by Creswell (2011), this study conducted over two weeks in one of senior high school in Indramayu. Close-ended questionnaire and writing test were instruments to collect the data and it was analyzed  by using SPSS 22. The statistical calculation from students understanding in writing generic stucture of the text and writing test indicated that the value of tcount was 3.23 and the value of ttable was 0.361. It can be concluded that the hypothesis was accepted because tcount 3.23 > ttable 0.361. The finding reveal that there was middle correlation or middle prediction in students understanding of generic structure of analytical exposition and students writing quality with the score 0,52.

For indoor location, an active RFID indoor location system is designed. The system is designed and implemented by using a RSSI-based ranging technology location algorithm. In this article, the author amended the RSSI ranging equation, proposed and implemented a way to extract and estimate the environmental parameters of specific application scenarios, and improved the accuracy of the RSSI ranging. After many statistical experiments, the results show that the system’s deviation can reach 10cm on the diagonal of the region, and about 30cm on the edge. Through statistical calculation, the average deviation of system position is about 10.6cm, which is a good location system of high precision. When implemented for different applications, this system has the advantages of simplicity and adaptability.

<p><em>Abstrak</em> - <strong>Perkembangan kognitif merupakan aspek yang penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir anak, salah satunya yaitu mengenal konsep lambang bilangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan mengenal konsep lambang bilangan 1 – 10 melalui permainan pohon hitung pada anak usia 4 – 5 tahun di BKB PAUD Harapan Bangsa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart yang dilakukan selama 2 siklus, di mana satu siklus terdiri dari 3 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 14 anak, yang terdiri dari 9 anak laki-laki dan 5 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi kemampuan anak dalam mengenal konsep lambang bilangan 1 – 10, aktivitas guru dan anak serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan perhitungan statistika sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan dalam kemampuan mengenal konsep lambang bilangan 1 – 10 melalui permainan pohon hitung. Hal ini diketahui dari rata-rata anak yang mendapat skor 3 pada setiap indikator yaitu indikator membilang 1 – 10 siklus I sebesar 69,1% dan siklus II sebesar 100% artinya terdapat peningkatan sebesar 30,9%. Pada indikator menghubungkan benda-benda konkret dengan lambang bilangan 1 – 10 siklus I sebesar 55,4% dan siklus II sebesar 77,6% artinya terdapat peningkatan sebesar 22,2% dan pada indikator mengurutkan lambang bilangan 1 – 10 siklus I 44,7% dan siklus II sebesar 77,6% artinya terdapat peningkatan sebesar 32,9%. Pencapaian di siklus II sudah melebihi indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditentukan yaitu sebesar 75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan pohon hitung dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal konsep lambang bilangan 1 – 10. Peningkatan terjadi karena dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui permainan dengan menggunakan media pohon hitung yang beracuan pada teori mengenai tahapan-tahapan mengenal lambang bilangan kepada anak dan dengan adanya motivasi berupa reward membuat anak lebih semangat dalam melakukan permainan.</strong></p><p><em><strong>Kata Kunci</strong> - Mengenal Konsep Lambang Bilangan, Permainan Pohon Hitung, Anak Usia 4 – 5 Tahun</em></p><p>Abstract - <strong>Cognitive development is an important aspect in developing children's thinking skills, one of which is to recognize the concept of numeral symbol. This study aims to find out how to improve the ability to recognize the concept of numeral symbol 1 - 10 through tree math game at the children aged 4 - 5 years of BKB PAUD Harapan Bangsa. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) using Kemmis and Mc Taggart model carried out in 2 cycles where one cycle consists of 3 meetings. The subjects of this study are 14 children, 9 of them are boys and the rest are girls. Data collection technique used in this study is observation towards the ability of children in recognizing the concept of numeral symbol 1 - 10, the teacher as well as the children activities and documentation. Data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive </strong><strong>qualitative using simple statistical calculation. According to the research results it is known that there is an improvement in the ability to recognize the concept of numeral symbol 1 - 10 through the tree math game. It can be seen from the average of children who got score 3 on each indicator which is counting 1 - 10 in cycle I is as much as 69,1% and in cycle II rises to 100%. It means that there is an increase of 30,9%. While on the indicator of connecting concrete objects with numeral symbols of 1 - 10 in cycles I show the average of 55.4% and in the second cycle rise to 77.6% which means there is an increase of 22.2%. Furthermore, on the indicator of sorting numeral symbol of 1 – 10 in cycle I show the average of 44.7 % and in cycle II climb to 77.6% which means there is an increase of 32.9%. Therefore, the achievement in cycle II has exceeded the predetermined success indicator of 75%. Based on the research results it can be concluded that the tree math game can improve the ability of children aged 4-5 years to recognize the concept of numeral symbol 1 - 10. The improvement occurs because this study is carried out through the game using the tree math media which refers to the theory of the stages of knowing numeral symbol to the children and with the motivation in the form of reward to make them more enthusiastic in playing the game</strong>.</p><p><em><strong>Keywords</strong> - Knowing the Concept of Numeral Symbol, Tree Math Game, Children Aged 4 - 5 Years.</em></p>

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the mentoring Al-Islam program at Universitas Islam OganKomeringIlir (UNISKI) Kayuagung which has been running so far, the implementation of the religious practice of students of UNISKI Kayuagung, and what effect the implementation of the mentoring Al-Islam program has on the implementation of the student's religious practice. This research is a descriptive field research with a quantitative approach. The data sources were students participating in the mentoring Al-Islam and the management of P5I UNISKI Kayuagung. Data collection is done using observation techniques, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis is done through descriptive statistical techniques. The results of the data analysis showed that the effectiveness of the implementation of the mentoring Al-Islam program at UNISKI Kayuagung based on the response data of 284 respondents to the research questionnaire using the one-sample t-test formula = 173,433> price of the table, both at the error level ( ) 5% = 1,645 or  1% = 2,362. Thus, the Ha submitted can be accepted. Meanwhile, the value of students' religious practice, using the t-test formula of one sample, the price of t arithmetic = 156.8> t table 5% = 1.645 and 1% = 2.362. The price of t arithmetic falls on the acceptance of Ha, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. The statistical calculation using the product moment correlation formula shows that the application of the mentoring Al-Islam program has a positive and significant effect of 0.996 with a "very strong" relationship level on the religious practice of students of UNISKI Kayuagung.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara latihan terpusat dan latihan acak terhadap hasil penguasaan teknik dasar bola basket. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang dilakukan terhadap dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen satu yang di beri perlakuan latihan terpusat dan kelompok eksperimen dua di beri perlakuan latihan acak. Penelitian dilakukan di Klub Basket Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu dengan sampel yang di pilih berdasarkan karakteristik tertentu. Analisis statistik yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Uji t untuk menguji hipotesis bahwa “latihan acak memberikan pengaruh lebih baik dibandingkan dengan latihan terpusat dalam meningkatkan keterampilan teknik dasar bola basket”. Uji syarat statistik t telah memenuhi syarat homogen dan data berdistribusi normal berdasarkan perhitungan statistik dan pengujian kriteria uji statistic di dapat hasil bahwa latihan terpusat dan latihan acak memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil penguasaan teknik dasar bola basket. Hal ini diketahui dari data thitung = -5,11 > ttabel = 2,11 dengan taraf ?=0,05. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini dilihat dari hasil uji signifikan perbedaan peningkatan latihan kedua kelompok menunjukkan bahwa latihan acak memberikan pengaruh yang lebih signifikan terhadap hasil  penguasaan teknik dasar bola basket. Kata Kunci: Latihan terpusat, Latihan acak, Teknik Dasar Bola Basket.Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of centralized training and random exercise on the results of mastery of basic techniques of basketball. This study used experimental methods conducted on two groups, namely the experimental group one which was given the treatment of centralized exercise and the experimental group of two in the treatment of random treatment. The research was conducted at Club Basket Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu with selected samples based on certain characteristics. The statistical analysis used in this study is t-test to test the hypothesis that "randomized exercise gives better effect than centralized training in improving basic basketball technique skills". Test statistic requirement t has complied with homogeneous requirements and normal distributed data based on statistical calculation and statistical test criterion test in can result that centralized exercise and random exercise have an effect on the result of mastery of basic technique of basketball. It is known from thitung = -5,11> ttable = 2,11 with ? = 0,05. The conclusions of this study seen from the results of significant test differences in the improvement of the two groups showed that the random exercise gives a more significant effect on the results of mastery of basic techniques of basketball.
