Library is one of the facilities which provides information, knowledge resource, and acts as an academic helper for readers to get the information. The huge number of books which library has, usually make readers find the books with difficulty. Universitas Multimedia Nusantara uses the Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) as the library catalogue. SLiMS has many features which help readers, but there is still no recommendation feature to help the readers finding the books which are relevant to the specific book that readers choose. The application has been developed using Vector Space Model to represent the document in vector model. The recommendation in this application is based on the similarity of the books description. Based on the testing phase using one-language sample of the relevant books, the F-Measure value gained is 55% using 0.1 as cosine similarity threshold. The books description and variety of languages affect the F-Measure value gained. Index Terms—Book Recommendation, Porter Stemmer, SLiMS Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, TF-IDF, Vector Space Model

Abstract We consider higher-spin gravity in (Euclidean) AdS4, dual to a free vector model on the 3d boundary. In the bulk theory, we study the linearized version of the Didenko-Vasiliev black hole solution: a particle that couples to the gauge fields of all spins through a BPS-like pattern of charges. We study the interaction between two such particles at leading order. The sum over spins cancels the UV divergences that occur when the two particles are brought close together, for (almost) any value of the relative velocity. This is a higher-spin enhancement of supergravity’s famous feature, the cancellation of the electric and gravitational forces between two BPS particles at rest. In the holographic context, we point out that these “Didenko-Vasiliev particles” are just the bulk duals of bilocal operators in the boundary theory. For this identification, we use the Penrose transform between bulk fields and twistor functions, together with its holographic dual that relates twistor functions to boundary sources. In the resulting picture, the interaction between two Didenko-Vasiliev particles is just a geodesic Witten diagram that calculates the correlator of two boundary bilocals. We speculate on implications for a possible reformulation of the bulk theory, and for its non-locality issues.

In the probe limit, we study the holographic p-wave phase transition in the Gauss–Bonnet gravity via numerical and analytical methods. Concretely, we study the influences of the external magnetic field on the Maxwell complex vector model in the five-dimensional Gauss–Bonnet–AdS black hole and soliton backgrounds, respectively. For the two backgrounds, the results show that the magnetic field enhances the superconductor phase transition in the case of the lowest Landau level, while the increasing Gauss–Bonnet parameter always hinders the vector condensate. Moreover, the Maxwell complex vector model is a generalization of the SU(2) Yang–Mills model all the time. In addition, the analytical results backup the numerical results. Furthermore, this model might provide a holographic realization for the QCD vacuum instability.
