AbstractWe computed the impact solutions of the potentially dangerous Near Earth Asteroid (NEA) 2001 BB16 based on 47 optical observations from January 20.08316 UTC, 2001, through February 09.15740 UTC, 2016, and one radar observation from January 19.90347 UTC, 2016. We used two methods to sample the starting Line of Variation (LOV). First method, called thereafter LOV1, with the uniform sampling of the LOV parameter, out to LOV = 5 computing 3000 virtual asteroids (VAs) on both sides of the LOV, which gives 6001 VAs and propagated their orbits to JD2525000.5 TDT=February 12, 2201. We computed the non-gravitational parameterA2=(34.55±7.38)·10–14 au/d2 for nominal orbit of 2001 BB16 and possible impacts with the Earth until 2201. For potential impact in 2195 we find A2=20.0·10−14 au/d2. With a positive value of A2, 2001 BB16 can be prograde rotator. Moreover, we computed Lyapunov Time (LT) for 2001 BB16, which for all VAs, has a mean value of about 25 y. We showed that impact solutions, including the calculated probability of a possible collision of a 2001 BB16 asteroid with the Earth depends on how to calculate and take into account the appropriate gravitational model, including the number of perturbing massive asteroids. In some complicated cases, it may depend also on the number of clones calculated for a given sigma LOV1. The second method of computing the impact solutions, called thereafter LOV2, is based on a non-uniformly sampling of the LOV. We showed that different methods of sampling the LOV can give different impact solutions, but all computed dates of possible impacts of the asteroid 2001 BB16 with the Earth occur in accordance at the end of the 22nd century.

AbstractThe formation of Saturn and its disk is simulated using a new N-body self-gravitational model. It is demonstrated that the formation of the disk and the planet is the result of gravitational contraction of a slowly rotated particle cloud that have a shape of slightly deformed sphere. The sphere was flattened by a coefficient of 0.8 along the axis of rotation. During the gravitational contraction, the major part of the cloud transformed into a planet and a minor part transformed into a disk. The thin structured disk is a result of the electromagnetic interaction in which the magnetic forces acting on charged particles of the cloud originate in the core of the planet. The simulation program gives such parameters of Saturn as the escape velocity of about 35 km/s at the surface, density, rotational velocities of the rings and temperature distribution.

AbstractIn this paper the problem of the tidal potential of a homogeneous gravitating torus with an elliptical cross-section sleeve is solved. In particular, the potentials in analytical form in the vicinity of the center of the torus and its external region are found. This torus can serve as a gravitational model of the Kuiper belt.

Gravimetric studies using the ETOPO1-corrected high resolution satellite-based EGM2008 gravity data was used to define the surface extent, depth to basement and shape of the Mamfe basin. The Bouguer anomaly map was produced in Surfer 11.0. The Fast Fourier Transformed data was analyzed by spectral analysis to remove the effect of the regional bodies in the study area. The residual anomaly map obtained was compared with the known geology of the study area, and this showed that the gravity highs correspond to the metamorphic and igneous rocks while the gravity lows match with Cretaceous sediments. Three profiles were drawn on the residual anomaly map along which 2D models of the Mamfe basin were drawn. The modeling was completed in Grav2dc v2.06 software which uses the Talwini’s algorithm and the resulting models gave the depth to basement and the shape of the basement along the profiles. After processing and interpretation, it was deduced that the Mamfe basin has an average length and width of 77.6 km and 29.2 km respectively, an average depth to basement of 5 km and an overall U-shape basement. These dimensions (especially the depth) theoretically create the depth and temperature conditions for petroleum generation.

The development of the Russian economy should take into account the implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept. This concept does not have clear assessment parameters. Estimating such parameters is problematic. The development of high-tech industries is one of the main objectives of the implementation of Industry 4.0. Prediction of economic development in modern conditions is possible on the basis of mathematical modeling methods. The difference in technological stage of the domestic economy determines the feasibility of a regional approach. Agent-based modeling is the optimal approach to solving this problem. This approach allows simulating the activities of agents. The simulated environment sets the conditions for the agents to function. A gravitational model proposed to assess the economic system functioning environment. The proposed gravitational model allows us to assess the relationship between regions on the basis of high-tech trade. The approbation carried in the Sverdlovsk region conditions. As a result of the study established, the development of the Sverdlovsk region high-tech environment, covering the main industrial regions of The Urals, Volga and Siberian federal districts, and the Central Region. Purpose: Construction of the spatial development an assessing model of high-tech environment in the agent-oriented model of territories economic development in the Industry 4.0 conditions. Methodology: methods of system, structural and logical analysis, tools of gravitational modeling. Results: The proposed gravitational model allowed us to assess the interregional interrelations of Sverdlovsk region on the basis of high-tech trade. Practical implications: The results can be useful for assessing the environment of the economic system in the context of Industry 4.0 in the agent-oriented approach.

Abstract. In 2008 the new Earth Gravitational Model (EGM08) was released. It contains a complete set of spherical harmonic coefficients of the Earth's gravitational potential (Stokes parameters) to degree 2190 and order 2159 that can be used for evaluation of various potential quantities with both the unprecedented accuracy and high spatial resolution. Two such quantities, the gravity anomaly and second-order radial derivative of the disturbing potential, were computed over selected areas with known impact craters. The displays of these derivatives for two such sites clearly show not only the strong circular-like features known to be associated with them but also other symmetrical structures which appear to make them multiple impact sites. At Popigai, Siberia, the secondary circular features fall in a line from the primary in the SE direction. At Chicxulub, Yucatán, there appears to be one secondary crater close to the primary in the NE direction, as well as possibly others in the vicinity of the main crater. Gravity information alone is not proof of the impact craters but it is useful in identifying candidate sites for further study, for future examination by geologists and geophysicists.

In this paper, we investigate the linear perturbation of the material density of the universe in f(R) modified gravity of polynomial exponential form on the scale of distance below the cosmic horizon (sub-horizon). The results show that the model for the evolutionary aspects of the universe is slightly different from that in the standard cosmological model of ΛCDM. They can be used to show the difference between this modified gravitational model with the standard cosmological model of ΛCMD and other cosmological models. We also investigate the ration Ψ/ Φ and Geff / GN in the model and show that they are within allowable limits of experiments.
