A theoretical model to actualize digital holographic detection with the help of paraxial optical system based on the inverse calculation of diffraction is introduced briefly. In addition, we proposed a method to actualize the measurement when the measured object modulates the amplitude and the phase of object light simultaneously. The simulated experimental example will be illustrated with the help of numerical computation and computer-aided image processing techniques.

We present an aided optical alignment method using the liquid crystal on silicon spatial light modulator (LCoS-SLM). An optical system composed of an interferometer and an LCoS-SLM was established to verify the effectiveness of the method. The system was also calibrated to solve the phase modulation nonlinear and nonuniformity problem for better performance of LCoS-SLM as an easily programmable phase compensator. The LCoS-SLM could modulate the phase of incident light precisely to generate an accurate phase desired to achieve a virtual off-axis parabolic phase to generate light spots array. Finally, the 2 × 2 light spots array generated by the optical system was used to verify its potential in optical alignment.

By applying the model in a case, two methods of linear and curved alignment are analyzed and compared. Besides, the main existing problems and the solutions to solve them are studied. The results show that curved alignment method has obvious advantages in highway design, interchange design, and other complex terrain conditions. With a variety of computer-aided design software line appears, curved alignment method will be widely used.
