An indicators analysis of the first-graders functional state and vegetative homeostasis obtained in the initial period of adaptation to the educational environment revealed gender differences in the rates of the adaptation process to new learning conditions. It has been established that girls’ adaptation mechanisms turn on earlier than boys’, with their similar orientation. The article provides an experimental justification of the indicators use legitimacy for heart rate variability to assess the functional state of the body in the acute period of adaptation to the educational environment. The importance of teacher physiological literacy for the optimization of the educational process is substantiated. The results of the study are convincing evidence of the knowledge importance for the physiological foundations of the occurrence and course of physiological and mental processes, stable individual psycho-physiological characteristics for the organization of the learning environment, corresponding to the functional capabilities of the body. This argument is also confirmed by many years of experience among master students key competencies development, which allow using such an objective criterion as the current functional state of the body to ensure, through the joint efforts of parents, teachers, psychologists, and doctors, the correction of the educational environment and psycho-physiological resistance of individual to it. The established differences in the dynamics of heart rate variability indicators for girls and boys can be used to form a health-saving program in school settings.

The purpose of the study was to examine the features of heart rate variability in experimental hyper- and hypofunction of the pineal gland, complicated by adrenal myocardial dystrophy. Materials and methods. To solve the set tasks, three models of functional states were created: hypo-, hyperfunction of the pineal gland, adrenaline myocardial dystrophy. Hypermelatoninemia was reproduced by administering melatonin. The hypofunction of the pineal gland was simulated by round-the-clock lighting. An experimental model of cardiac pathology, namely adrenaline myocardial dystrophy, was reproduced by administering adrenaline hydrochloride. The degree of tension of regulatory mechanisms and mechanisms of nervous regulation was assessed by mathematical analysis of heart rate variability. Results and discussion. The task of mathematical analysis is to extract “hidden information” and thereby assess the state and degree of tension of the regulatory mechanisms of the whole organism. According to the authors, mathematical analysis allows a differentiated approach to the assessment of regulatory effects, which is done by the nervous autonomic system, subcortical structures and the cerebral cortex. The data obtained by the authors suggest that the introduction of adrenaline in conditions of hypofunction of the pineal gland have cause-and-effect changes. These changes lead to disorders of autonomic regulation and possibly a trigger mechanism for a decrease in melatonin production by the pineal gland. Studies have shown that one of the advantages in conditions of hyperfunction of the pineal gland is the dominant role of parasympathetic processes in the mechanisms of adaptation of the heart to conditions of adrenal myocardial dystrophy. Timely and sufficient activation of melatonin provides a high efficiency of compensatory-adaptive changes and a positive role in increasing myocardial resistance. Conclusion. The results of the study showed that the dynamics of changes in the values of the indicators of the mathematical analysis of the heart rate in adrenal myocardial dystrophy against the background of hypo- and hyperfunction of the pineal gland revealed unidirectional changes. These changes are manifested in a decrease in heart rate, stress index and vegetative balance indicator. Consequently, the results obtained suggest that the introduction of melatonin against the background of adrenal myocardial dystrophy has a general corrective effect on the restoration of the functional state of the heart. Based on the results, the authors consider it appropriate to continue the study of the influence of various stressors on the functional state of the heart in conditions of different physiological activity of the pineal gland

The Murmansk region is characterized by a number of specific climatic and geographical features: a polar night, a long snowy period, an unstable geo-heliophysical setting. All of the above factors have a negative impact on children with disabilities. The article describes the application of the method of analysis of heart rate variability to assess the dynamic changes in the functional state of the body of preschool children with general speech underdevelopment, as well as with stuttering. The work was carried out on the Kola Peninsula in the period of the exit from the «polar night», when exacerbations of somatic diseases are most often recorded in children, and there is a decrease in the immunological reactivity and adaptation potential. The main purpose of this work was to conduct research on the selection of methods for the functional diagnosis of a child’s body in the Kola North to track the state of the state during the educational process on the basis of a preschool institution during the most unfavorable periods. Functional diagnostics included weekly dynamic measurements of the functional status of children of both groups on a non-invasive cardiac rhythmograph, followed by mathematical processing of the main cardiorhythmographic parameters. The use of heart rate variability analysis makes it possible to identify differences in the functional state of preschool children with various speech disorders associated with the nosological structure of the defect. In addition, the use of this method allows you to track changes in the state of children in the course of the educational process in preschool institutions and to adjust the flow of information, taking into account the individual characteristics and adaptive capacities of children with speech disorders.

The issues of clinical significance and possibilities of assessing the indicators of variation pulsometry measurement and spectral analysis of a short recording of heart rate variability are highlighted in the article. This is necessary as an objective justification for the subsequent assessment of the functional state of the body and a comprehensive examination of comorbid patients for non-communicable diseases. The aim of the study was to assess the clinical and diagnostic value of a short recording of heart rate variability in comorbid patients with non-communicable diseases in order to increase the effectiveness of measures for their prevention and treatment in Ukraine by improving their diagnosis and prevention through the introduction of modern science-intensive technologies into medical practice.Material and methods. 174 comorbid patients with non-communicable diseases were examined by registering a short record of variability on the hardware-soft-ware complex Poly-Spectrum (Neurosoft, Russia) and the analysis of the results was done. The patients were divided into three groups depending on the degree of comorbidity.Results. Significant differences in spectral analysis and variation pulsometry measurements were established in patients with non-communicable diseases, depending on the degree of comorbidity.Conclusions. The expediency of using the method of short recording of heart rate variability in a comprehensive examination of comorbid patients has been established. The indicator of the total spectral power of the heart rate can be recommended for use as an additional independent predictor of the severity of comorbid pathology and assessment of the functional state.

Assessment and prediction of the functional state of specialists in an extreme professional environment is a physiological justification for the organization of labor to maintain the high performance of specialists. The purpose of the work is psycho diagnostic and electrophysiological study of the functional state of firefighter-rescuers with different service lives in the Federal Firefighting Service of the Ministry of Emergencies in the Tver region, taking into account the daily dynamics. Materials and methods: the survey involved 235 male rescue firefighters aged 25 to 45 years with a service experience from 1 to 22 years. All subjects were divided into three groups depending on the length of service. To assess the functional state, we used a questionnaire with scales of well-being, activity and mood, and a method of heart rate variability. Results: the subjective assessment on the scale of the questionnaire was optimistic, homogeneous and quite rigid. Analysis of heart rate variability showed a more heterogeneous picture. When assessing the daily dynamics, a vagotonic shift was detected in most firefighter-rescuers. Correlation analysis revealed balanced adequate connections between the self-assessment of the functional state and the hardware diagnosis of heart rate variability only for firefighter-rescuers with 7–15 years of service experience, which corresponds to the stage of formed professionalism.

This article highlights the issues of using a hardware technique for assessing the functional state of patients by indicators of a short recording of heart rate variability. The aim of the study is to assess the clinical and diagnostic capabilities of a short recording of heart rate variability in displaying systemic informational energy processes of the human body to increase the effectiveness of measures for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases in Ukraine by introducing the latest science-based technologies into medical practice. An open-label, nonrandomized controlled trial was performed. We studied the wave characteristics of the heart rate in functionally healthy individuals (group 1, n=104) and patients with coronary heart disease including exertional angina, myocardial infarction (in the subacute period) and comorbid pathology (group 2, n=66) by the method of short recording of heart rate variability using spectral analysis and variational pulsometry. The study has demonstrated coronary heart disease is accompanied by a decrease in the overall activity of regulatory systems, inhibition of the energy level of the heart (TP=931.8±710.4 at a rate of 3466±1018 ms²), a low level of hormonal modulation of regulatory mechanisms (VLF=527.3±502.1 ms², which is <700 ms²), depletion of energy resources, a low level of recoverable (HF=205.7±261.8 ms², which is <300 ms²) and mobilization (LF=198.9±191.7 ms², which is <300 ms2) potentials, an imbalance of the mechanisms of neuro-humoral regulation of cardiac activity, a decrease in the resources of cardiac activity VLF=56% when normal values are within 30-50%; VLF>HF+LF), in a state of pronounced distress (SI=256.7±264.7; SI=325.2±297.7; PAPR=71.76±30.3). Using the method of short recording of heart rate variability can allow doctors to determine the current state of physiological circulatory mechanisms, adaptive responses, diagnose maladaptive disorders, stress, monitor the effectiveness of prevention of noncommunicable diseases in respondents.
