New standards in the automotive industry highlighted the situation of the actual operation of the alternator and a variety of harsh environment simulation limit test. Using new standards in the automotive industry as a guide, this article presents a virtual instrument based on the durability of automobile generator integrated test system. The design adopt virtual instrument technology in designing the system, Graphic language, LabVIEW is applied in writing measure-control program. The system uses a lot of features on LABVIEW, including Data acquisition, control of serials port, etc. Test implementation uses the host computer via RS232 and RS485 communication port and the data acquisition card, NI PCI- 6221, to control the frequency hybrid motor, temperature control box, electronic loads and other intelligent devices, and to simulate a variety of automotive alternator working conditions and real-time monitoring to monitor the status of generators. Using this system, two separate automobile alternators can be tested in terms of high-speed vehicle impact and high temperature durability test and electrical performance test and other tests at the same time. As a result, the generator speed measurement error is within 1%, the control error is within 2%, voltage and current measurement errors were within 0.5% and 0.4%, which meets the requirements.

The rod presser foot and needle bar driving mechanism of the embroidery machine cannot achieve accurate parking time and position at high speed, which limits the development of high speed embroidery machine and make the quality of embroidery decline. Aiming at solving this bottleneck problem, the characteristics of the embroidery machine presser foot and needle bar driving mechanism based on analyzing the mechanism kinematics is developed. These characteristics and influences of each linkage parameters on the presser foot parking time and position are analyzed. Six main parameters are selected to optimize by using the complex method. Taking the parking position and linkage parameters as constraints, the parameters of the main linkages was optimized in order to obtain the maximum parking time of the presser foot mechanism. The results show that the optimized parameters is more reasonable and effective, the pause time of the presser foot mechanism is increased by 15.5%, and the parking position of the embroidery machine is at 100° ± 0.5° as required by the technological requirements, which satisfies the requirements of the coordinate movement of the needle bar-presser foot drive mechanism of the high-speed embroidery machine. The study also provides a method reference for the follow-up high-speed embroidery machine research and development.

The high speed machining (HSM) of gray cast iron for manufacture mold and dies involve many different cutting tool from deep hole drills to smallest ball nose end mills [. Due to the demand of fast and high productivity, high speed machining (HSM) has been increasingly used to produce mold and dies that are mostly used in automotive industry especially for stamping dies components. The process of HSM sometimes combined together with manual polishing to enhance the die surface into fine mirror finish. Although the manual polishing strongly depends by experience and skill of workers, this technique is the preferable option for polishing of moulds and dies. However, such extensive manual polishing will provide some drawback because of many human factors such as pressure and technique of polishing individual person uses. Therefore, the application high speed machining in manufacturing is still demanding as it can improve surface finishing by reducing manual polishing, reportedly account for up to 30% of the total time [2].

Linear Motors have been used more and more widely in high precision and high-speed linear motion for CNC machine tools, but uniform testing standards and methods for linear motor performance have not been established in China. Based on the virtual instrument software platform by means of computer technology, research and development of the test platform for synthetic performance parameters of linear motors can realize the rapid and accurate measurement, automatic storage and processing of linear-motor output, currents, positions, temperatures and other performance parameters. , Meanwhile, the platform can also provide the technical direction for design or improvement of linear motors, and technically support the formulation of related standards. Experiments showed that the test platform for synthetic performance parameters of linear motors can achieve high precision and automatic measurement to meet the testing requirements for synthetic performance of linear motors.

RESUMOO presente estudo foi desenvolvido com base nas estratégias adotadas por corporações da área automobilística que pretendem alcançar diferencial competitivo através do uso design e dos investimentos em centros de pesquisa e desenvolvimento (P&D). O propósito deste trabalho foi identificar os fundamentos da gestão do design na cultura empresarial automobilística, aliada aos processos de design que estreitam o relacionamento entre marca e consumidor. Bem como, a inovação tecnológica oriunda da intensidade de P&D para o desenvolvimento de novos produtos e serviços na criação de um portfólio sólido perante os concorrentes.
