Konsepsi Pengajaran Pensyarah dan Hubungannya dengan Persekitaran Pengajaran Pensyarah

Kualiti pengajaran telah menjadi salah satu agenda penting bagi universiti di dunia. Pengajaran yang baik dan berkualiti bukan hanya menjadi tanggungjawab pensyarah, malah ia menjadi kritikal dalam menentukan kredibiliti sesebuah universiti. Salah satu daripada konsep yang penting dalam proses dan aktiviti pengajaran ialah konsepsi pengajaran. Konsepsi pengajaran menjadi dasar dalam memotivasikan tindakan pensyarah semasa pengajaran dalam kelas dan juga di luar kelas. Konsepsi pengajaran seseorang pensyarah merupakan satu ‘model’ dalam mindanya berkenaan amalan, konteks dan tujuan mengajar yang mempengaruhi perancangan, membuat keputusan dan tindakan mereka. Persoalan yang dikaji dalam artikel ini ialah apakah konsepsi pengajaran dan persepsi persekitaran pengajaran pensyarah, serta bagaimanakah hubungan antara kedua–duanya. Seramai 313 orang pensyarah daripada Universiti Teknologi Malaysia terlibat dalam kajian ini. Data diperolehi menggunakan soal selidik Lecturer’s Conception of Teaching and Learning dan Perception of Teaching Environment. Keputusan menunjukkan kebanyakan pensyarah lebih cenderung kepada konsepsi pengajaran orientasi memudahkan pembelajaran berbanding orientasi pemindahan ilmu pengetahuan, serta mempunyai persepsi yang positif terhadap persekitaran pengajaran mereka. Kata kunci: Konsepsi pengajaran, persekitaran pengajaran The quality of teaching has become one of the important agenda for universities all over the world. Good and quality teaching are not only the responsibility of lecturers, but it is critical towards the quality of a university. One of the important concepts in the learning processes and activities is ‘teaching conceptions’. Teaching conceptions is fundamental in motivating lecturers’ actions during lectures and also outside class when interacting with students. Teaching conceptions is considered a ‘model’ in lecturers’ mind regarding their practise, contexts and motives in teaching that influence their actions, planning and decision making. This article discussed lecturers’ teaching conceptions, their perceptions towards their teaching environment and, the relationship between lecturers’ teaching conceptions and their teaching environment. A total of 313 Universiti Teknologi Malaysia lecturers were involved in the study. Data were collected using Lecturer’s Conception of Teaching and Learning and, Perception of Teaching Environment questionnaires. Result showed that majority of the lecturers are inclined towards the learning facilitation orientation compared to the knowledge transmission orientation of teaching conceptions and, have positive perceptions towards their teaching environment. The world faces an exceptional worldwide wellbeing and financial emergency set off by the COVID-19 pandemic. In Indonesia, the lives of a great many youngsters and their families have just been overturned. Lockdowns and school terminations are influencing their instruction, emotional well-being and admittance to fundamental wellbeing administrations. The world of education is one that has received a change in policy due to the pandemic. To solve this problem, a solution is needed to solve it. Online learning is a solution to solving problems at the same time so that education in children continues. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Google Classroom in English online learning in schools. The subjects of this research will be taken from eight-grade students at SMPN 16 Bogor. This data collection process will take place during online learning and is a descriptive study in which the researcher uses qualitative methods. This study concludes about the use of Google Classroom to simplify and improve the quality of teaching and learning activities in the midst of a pandemic.

Bilingualism in teaching is something to be done to make the quality of teaching more effective especially in the World Class University Like Islamic State Of University Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. This Article will be give information about implementation of Bilingulism in teaching. And also give information about the definition of bilingual and what kind of bilingual can be implemented especially in Arabic language teaching for the foreigner. Beside of information about the kind of the suitable bilingual in teaching language, This Article also inform how much of Arabic language acquisition when that language to be tought by bilingual method. And offcourse this give information about the relationship between the bilingual teaching language with the skills of language.

This research was motivated by a student organization requires students to be active and independent role in running the holding organization. Students are expected to be able to contribute through his thinking in a student organization. The problem of this research is "How does the activity of the HIMA Education Program PPKn and there a relationship activeness of students in HIMA Education Program PPKn with achievement index of PPKn students on campus UNIPA Surabaya ".The goal is to determine the activity of the HIMA Education Program PPKn students and to determine the relationship of the activity of the HIMA Education Program PPKn student with student achievement index PPKn on campus UNIPA Surabaya. Activeness in this research is the students who are active as a board and as a member of HIMA PPKn UNIPA Surabaya. Achievement index in this research is the unit of ultimate value that describes the quality of teaching and learning process of each semester. In this study to measure the activity of students and grade is done by using questionnaires and documentation. Analyzed Data Technique using product moment correlation, the sample in this study consisted of 95 PPKn students UNIPA Surabaya year period 2015, 2016 , 2017. The data were obtained by questionnaire and documentation which there is a student IPK. Based on data analysis that has been done to produce a correlation coefficient -0,292 to 0,004 significant, because the significance < 0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that there is a significant correlation between the activity of the HIMA Education Program PPKn with achievement index of PPKn students in UNIPA Surabaya.

Regarding to the rapid development of technique and technology in all areas of life, also in the education field such developments have a great impact. The frequent use of technologies and their advancement influence on students for the main purpose to achieve faster the knowledge. For this reason teachers should be in trend with new technological developments and they should be familiar with the technology usage in schools. In order that teaching process to be attractive and at the same time to achieve the highest quality of education there is a need that teachers should know the usage and application of technology during the process of teaching. The effect and the progress of teaching labor are gained with usage improvement of teaching technology. The purpose of this research is related to the professional training of primary school teachers in Gjakova municipality for the use of learning technologies as computers, projectors, laptop, etc, and their application in teaching practices in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning facilitation.

<p>This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete <br />picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent. </p><p> </p>

The paper seeks to investigate the level of productive knowledge of ESL learners, the writing quality and the relationship between the vocabulary knowledge and the writing quality. 150 final year students of English language in a university in Nigeria were randomly selected as respondents. The respondents were asked to write an essay of 300 words within one hour. The essays were typed into Vocab Profiler of Cobb (2002) and analyzed the Lexical Frequency Profile of the respondents. The essays were also assessed by independent examiners using a standard rubric. The findings reveal that the level of productive vocabulary knowledge of the respondents is limited. The writing quality of the majority of the respondent is fair and there is a significant correlation between vocabulary and the witting quality of the subjects. The researchers posit that productive vocabulary is the predictor of writing quality and recommend various techniques through which teaching and learning of vocabulary can be improved.

In the era of education information and globalization, a new mode of teaching and micro class has emerged in the background of the Internet, which brings new challenges and opportunities to the teaching of the classroom. MOOCs has been piloted and applied in many universities in the form of SPOC. As a new form of curriculum, micro course has been applied to the teaching and learning process. The integration of Moor and micro class resources helps to turn the classroom into a mixed mode. This article will focus on this hot topic to analyse the characteristics of the class, the characteristics of the micro class and the influence on the students and teachers, to improve the quality of teaching and to realize the individualized and active study of the students. The article summarizes the results of blended teaching mode at home and abroad, and explores the development and application of MOOC and micro class resources.

Nowadays, globalization has given birth to various forms of non-traditional education. These forms of education are transcending borders and traversing boundaries of space and time. The evolution of information technology in the context of Industry 4.0 has transformed education rapidly and, at the same time, resulted in new problems. This paper discusses the role, the importance and the relationship between lecturers (in universities) and e-lecturers (in the virtual reality environment) when implementing cross-border education. In addition, the article also mentions the changes of universities, lecturers, curriculums and teaching methods when deploying distance e-learning programs in Industry 4.0. The article uses conceptual model, diagrams and interdisciplinary methods such as education, culture, science and technology to investigate e-lecturers’ concept and provide solutions for improving the capacity of lecturers and the quality of teaching cross-border training programs in universities.

A lecturer with a good performance has a positive impact on the quality of teaching and learning. The said quality  includes the delivery of teaching materials, learning methods, and ultimately the academic results of students. Performance of lecturers contributes significantly to the quality of research and community service which in turn improves the quality of teaching materials. It is desirable, therefore, to have a method to measure the performance of lecturers in carrying out the Tri Dharma (or the three responsibility) activities, which consist of teaching and learning process, research, and community service activities, including publications at both national and international level. This study seeks to measure the performance of lecturers and cluster them into three categories, namely "satisfactory", "good", and "poor". Data were taken from academic works of nursing study program lecturers in conducting academic activities. Clustering process is carried out using two machine learning approaches, which is K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms. Evaluation of the clustering results suggests that K-Medoids algorithm performs better compared to using K-Means. DBI score for clustering techniques using K-Means is -0.417 while the score for K-Medoids is -0.652. The significant difference in the score shows that K-Medoids algorithm works better in determining the performance of lecturers in carrying out Tri Dharma activities.

In the teaching and learning process, teachers are required to be able to carry out their role to the fullest as a motivator and initiator in an effort to maintain and at the same time increase the enthusiasm of students to learn. Especially in the Covid-19 pandemic situation which requires educational institutions to carry out online learning. This study aims to discuss the teacher's role as a motivator and the teacher's role as an initiator in improving the quality of student learning in online learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Condro Jember. This research uses qualitative research methods and the type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of this study indicate: 1) The teacher's role as a motivator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: providing opportunities for students to play an active role in learning, providing reinforcement, praise or verbal appreciation, teachers listening to students' concerns and wishes to bond. good relationship between teachers and students. 2) The role of the teacher as an initiator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: utilizing information and communication technology such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet and Google Form. Keywords: Teacher Role; Quality of Learning; Online Learning Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru dituntut untuk mampu melaksanakan perannya secara maksimal menjadi motivator dan inisiator dalam upaya menjaga dan sekaligus meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik. Terlebih dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara Daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang peran guru sebagai motivator dan peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatan kualitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran daring di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif Condro Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi/kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, memberikan penguatan, pujian atau apresiasi secara verbal, guru mendengarkan keresahan dan keinginan peserta didik agar terjalin ikatan yang baik antara guru dan peserta didik. 2) Peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet dan Google Form.
