In contrast to many human organs, only the human liver can self-regenerate, to some degree. Some marine echinoderms are convenient objects for studying the processes of regenerations of organs and tissues. For example, sea cucumbers Eupentacta fraudatrix can completely restore within several weeks, the internal organs and the whole body after their division into two or three parts. Therefore, these cucumbers are a very convenient model for studying the general mechanisms of regeneration. However, there is no literature data yet on which biomolecules of these cucumbers can stimulate the regeneration of organs and the whole-body processes. Studying the mechanisms of restoration is very important for modern biology and medicine, since it can help researchers to understand which proteins, enzymes, hormones, or possible complexes can play an essential role in regeneration. This work is the first to analyze the possible content of very stable protein complexes in sea cucumbers Eupentacta fraudatrix. It has been shown that their organisms contain a very stable multiprotein complex of about 2000 kDa. This complex contains 15 proteins with molecular masses (MMs) >10 kDa and 21 small proteins and peptides with MMs 2.0–8.6 kDa. It is effectively destroyed only in the presence of 3.0 M MgCl2 and, to a lesser extent, 3.0 M NaCl, while the best dissociation occurs in the presence of 8.0 M urea + 0.1 M EDTA. Our data indicate that forming a very stable proteins complex occurs due to the combination of bridges formed by metal ions, electrostatic contacts, and hydrogen bonds.

Abstract The article presents an approach to modeling the internal membrane pressure wave inside a sealed structure. During an explosion near a vehicle when a pressure wave reaches a hull, a pressure wave inside arises due to the hull’s bottom and the deformation of sides. They act like the piston - membrane. This membrane transfers the pressure impulse into the vehicle’s interior. A pressure increase causes the damage of internal organs or even death of occupants. In case of an armor penetration the pressure increase may be even larger. One of basic methods to protect a crew is to open hatches. However, such a method cannot be used in a contaminated area.

The pharmacological mechanisms of the medicinal plants traditionally used for RA in Persian medicine are discussed in the current review. Further investigations are mandatory to focus on bioefficacy of these phytochemicals for finding novel natural drugs. Rheumatoid arthritis is chronic, progressive, disabling autoimmune disease characterized by systemic inflammation of joints, damaging cartilage and bone around the joints. It is a systemic disease which means that it can affect the whole body and internal organs such as lungs, heart and eyes. Although numbers of synthetic drugs are being used as standard treatment for rheumatoid arthritis but they have adverse effect that can compromise the therapeutic treatment. Unfortunately, there is still no effective known medicinal treatment that cures rheumatoid arthritis as the modern medicine can only treat the symptoms of this disease that means to relieve pain and inflammation of joints. It is possible to use the herbs and plants in various forms in order to relieve the pain and inflammation in the joints. There are so many medicinal plants that have shown anti rheumatoid arthritis properties. So the plants and plant product with significant advantages are used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. The present review is focused on the medicinal plants having anti rheumatoid arthritis activity

Relevance. Information about the cardiovascular diseases risk factors (CVD RF) for in men with chronic lung inflam-matory pathology (CLID) is contradictory and requires clarification. Aim. To evaluate the peculiarities of CVD RF in men under 60 years of age with CLID in myocardial infarction (MI) to improve prevention. Material and methods. The study included men aged 19-60 years old with type I myocardial infarction. Patients are divided into two age-comparable groups: I - the study group, with CLID - 142 patients; II - control, without it - 424 patients. A comparative analysis of the frequency of observation of the main and additional cardiovascular risk fac-tors in groups was performed. Results. In patients of the study group, more often than in the control group we observed: hereditary burden of is-chemic heart disease (40.8 and 31.6%, respectively; p = 0.0461) and arterial hypertension (54.2 and 44.6%; p = 0.0461), frequent colds (24.6 and 12.0%; p = 0.0003), a history of extrasystoles (19.7 and 12.7%; p = 0.04); chronic foci of infections of internal organs (75.4 and 29.5%; p˂0.0001), non-ulcer lesions of the digestive system (26.1 and 14.6%; p = 0.007), smoking (95.1 and 66.3%; p˂0.0001), MI in winter (40.8 and 25.9%; p = 0.006). Less commonly were observed: oral cavity infections (9.2 and 23.6%; p˂0.0001); hypodynamia (74.5 and 82.5%; p = 0.0358), over-weight (44.4 and 55.2%; p = 0.0136), a subjective relationship between the worsening of the course of coronary heart disease and the season of the year (43.7 and 55.2%; p = 0.0173) and MI - in the autumn (14.1 and 21.9%; p = 0.006) period. Conclusions. The structure of CVD RF in men under 60 years of age with CLID with MI is characterized by the pre-dominance of smoking, non-ulcer pathology of the digestive system, frequent pro-student diseases, meteorological dependence, a history of cardiac arrhythmias and foci of internal organ infections. It is advisable to use the listed factors when planning preventive measures in such patients.

Introduction. Primary hyperparathyroidism is an endocrine disease resulting from a primary pathology of the parathyroid gland, characterized by increased secretion of parathyroid hormone and increased blood calcium levels. Among the endocrine diseases, primary hyperparathyroidism is the third most common after diabetes mellitus and thyroid disease. In Russia, according to epidemiological studies, primary hyperparathyroidism is found in 1% of the population, women suffer 2-3 times more often than men do, and the average age of diagnosis is 54-59 years. In the absence of a timely diagnosis, primary hyperparathyroidism causes systemic damage to internal organs: renal impairment, nephrolithiasis, esophageal affection, cardiovascular and nervous system involvement, and it leads to a violation of bone tissue integrity. The aim is to demonstrate a clinical case of a patient with primary hyperparathyroidism and to analyze the stages of diagnosis of the disease and treatment. Material and methods. The review of medical literature on the problem of diagnostics and treatment of primary hyperparathyroidism was performed, as well as an analysis of the patient’s medical documentation with this pathology. Results and discussion. A variant of complicated course of primary hyperparathyroidism of bone and visceral form is considered. About 15 years passed from the moment of appearance of the first symptoms of the disease to the development of complications of renal and bone system. Despite the slow development of the disease and availability of screening methods, hyperparathyroidism was detected at the stage of complications. This article provides a detailed analysis of the primary hyperparathyroidism history, as well as analyzes the possibilities of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of this pathology. The efficacy of the therapy has been assessed, and ways of correction have been outlined. The analysis of the reasons that made it difficult to diagnose this pathology at an early stage, before the development of serious complications of internal organs, has been carried out. Conclusions: It can be assumed that the presented clinical case will increase the awareness of physicians, especially therapists, about the primary manifestations of this pathology and the peculiarities of its detection and routing the patient, which will allow avoiding many diagnostic errors.
