The cells which are described in this study surround the salivary nerve of the terrestrial mollusc, Limax maximus. The salivary system of Limax consists of bilateral glands, ducts, and nerves. The salivary nerves originate at the buccal ganglia, which are situated on the posterior face of the buccal mass, and run along the salivary duct to the gland. The salivary nerve branches several times near the gland, and eventually sends processes into the gland. The pore cells begin to appear at the first large branch point of the salivary nerve, near the gland (Figure 1). They follow the nerve distally and eventually accompany the nerve branches into the gland tissue. The cells are 20-50 microns in diameter and contain very small nuclei (1-5 microns) (Figure 2).The cytoplasm of the pore cells is segregated into a storage area of glycogen and an organelle region located in a band around the cell periphery (Figure 3).

ABSTRACT Hinduism has three basic frameworks, namely tattwa, ethics and ceremonies. All three do not stand alone, but a unity carried out by Hindus. If only the philosophy of religion is known without carrying out moral teachings and ceremonies, it is not perfect. In implementing the yadnya Hindus cannot escape the three basic frameworks. Yadnya which means worshiping, respecting, sacrificing sincerely, serving, doing good in the form of what is owned for the welfare and perfection of living together and the glory of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. By implementing yadnya, Hindus in Bali believe that they can get closer to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa as a belief in scales and also the existence of debt, namely Rna. There are three types of debts, namely the God of Rna, namely the debt of life to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, the pitra rna, which is service debt to the ancestors and the rna, namely the sacred debt to rsi. With this feeling of debt, it is only natural that the debt be paid, manifested in the yad ceremony. By implementing yad it can connect itself with Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Through these facilities can be embedded a sense of gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. The ceremony of Aci Penaung Bayu is included in the ceremony of Dewa Yadnya, especially the worship of the Almighty God in his manifestation as Lord Vishnu, the god who cares for the universe and all its contents. This research was conducted to answer the following problems: (1) how is the process of carrying out the ceremony of acu pening bayu ?, (2) what is the function of the ceremony of acu pening bayu ?, (3) what educational values are contained in the aci penung bayu ceremony ?. The theories used to solve this research problem are structural functional theory, religious theory, and value theory.  This research is in the form of a qualitative design with a phenomological approach. Data was collected using observation techniques, interview techniques, library techniques, and documentation techniques. After the data is collected, the data is analyzed by checking the validity of the data. Based on the analysis, conclusions were obtained as a result of the study, as follows: (1) the process of carrying out the aci penung bayu ceremony began with the nedunang ceremony of Ida Bhatara from the storage area (penataran agung), after which the ceremony of aci penung bayu, and finally the nyineb ceremony Ida Bhatara (stored to return storage) (2) Function of carrying out the Bayu Aci Penaung ceremony is a religious function, social integration function, energizing function. (3) The values of Hinduism education contained in the ceremony of Aci Penaung Bayu are the educational value of Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract As the structures of multiarm robots are serially arranged, the packaging and transportation of these robots are often inconvenient. The ability of these robots to operate objects must also be improved. Addressing this issue, this paper presents a type of multiarm robot that can be adequately folded into a designed area. The robot can achieve different operation modes by combining different arms and objects. First, deployable kinematic chains (DKCs) are designed, which can be folded into a designated area and be used as an arm structure in the multiarm robot mechanism. The strategy of a platform for storing DKCs is proposed. Based on the restrictions in the storage area and the characteristics of parallel mechanisms, a class of DKCs, called base assembly library, is obtained. Subsequently, an assembly method for the synthesis of the multiarm robot mechanism is proposed, which can be formed by the connection of a multiarm robot mechanism with an operation object based on a parallel mechanism structure. The formed parallel mechanism can achieve a reconfigurable characteristic when different DKCs connect to the operation object. Using this method, two types of multiarm robot mechanisms with four DKCs that can switch operation modes to perform different tasks through autonomous combination and release operation is proposed. The obtained mechanisms have observable advantages when compared with the traditional mechanisms, including optimizing the occupied volume during transportation and using parallel mechanism theory to analyze the switching of operation modes.

There are many ways to measure the efficiency of the storage area management in container terminals. These include minimising the need for container reshuffle especially at the yard level. In this paper, we consider the container reshuffle problem for stacking and retrieving containers. The problem was represented as a binary integer programming model and solved exactly. However, the exact method was not able to return results for large instances. We therefore considered a heuristic approach. A number of heuristics were implemented and compared on static and dynamic reshuffle problems including four new heuristics introduced here. Since heuristics are known to be instance dependent, we proposed a compatibility test to evaluate how well they work when combined to solve a reshuffle problem. Computational results of our methods on realistic instances are reported to be competitive and satisfactory.

The warehouse process, as one of many logistics processes, currently holds an irreplaceable position in logistics systems in companies and in the supply chain. The proper function of warehouse operations depends on, among other things, the type of the used technology and their utilization. The research in this article is focused on the design of a warehouse system. The selection of a suitable warehouse system is a current research topic as the warehouse system has an impact on warehouse capacity and utilization and on the speed of storage activities. The paper presents warehouse system design methodology that was designed applying the logistics principle-systematic (system) approach. The starting point for designing a warehouse system represents of the process of design logistics systems. The design process consists of several phases: project identification, design process paradigm selection, system analysis, synthesis, and project evaluation. This article’s contribution is the proposed methodology and design of the warehouse system for the specified conditions. The methodology was implemented for the design of a warehouse system in a cold box, which is a part of a distribution warehouse. The technology of pallet racking was chosen in the warehouse to store pallets. Pallets will be stored and removed by forklifts. For the specified conditions, the warehouse system was designed for two alternatives of racking assemblies, which are served by forklifts. Alternative 1—Standard pallet rack with wide aisles and Alternative 2—Pallet dynamic flow rack. The proposed systems were compared on the basis of selected indicators: Capacity—the number of pallet places in the system, Percentage ratio of storage area from the box area, Percentage ratio of handling aisles from the box area, Access to individual pallets by forklift, Investment costs for 1 pallet space in EUR. Based on the multicriteria evaluation, the Alternative 2 was chosen as the acceptable design of the warehouse system with storage capacity 720 pallet units. The system needs only two handling aisles. Loading and unloading processes are separate from each other, which means that there are no collisions with forklifts. The pallets with the goods are operated on the principle of FIFO (first in, first out), which will facilitate the control of the shelf life of batches or series of products. The methodology is a suitable tool for decision-making in selecting and designing a warehouse system.

AbstractBoth a low resistance state and a high resistance state which were written by the voltage application in a local region of NiO/Pt films by using conducting atomic force microscopy (C-AFM) were observed by using scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electron probe micro analysis (EPMA). The writing regions are distinguishable as dark areas in a secondary electron image and thus can be specified without using complicated sample fabrication process to narrow down the writing regions such as the photolithography technique. In addition, the writing regions were analyzed by using energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) mapping. No difference between the inside and outside of the writing regions is observed for all the mapped elements including C and Rh. Here, C and Rh are the most probable candidates for contamination which affect the secondary electron image. Therefore, our results suggested that the observed change in the contrast of the second electron image is related to the intrinsic change in the electronic state of the NiO film and a secondary electron yield is correlated to the physical properties of the film.
