To realize voltage sag source localization in distribution network, the paper proposes a function fitting method based on the least squares. Establish a voltage distance function in response to fault distance changes by the line voltage. According to the voltage distance function, combine with the bus voltage after fault to find out likely fault section and distance. Through the sorting algorithm to sort all possible results, weaken the effect of pseudo fault point on the judgment result. Finally the simulation verifies the effectiveness of the method.

This chapter considers the notion of parallel residues in a building. It begins with the assumption that Δ‎ is a building of type Π‎, which is arbitrary except in a few places where it is explicitly assumed to be spherical. Δ‎ is not assumed to be thick. The chapter then elaborates on a hypothesis which states that S is the vertex set of Π‎, (W, S) is the corresponding Coxeter system, d is the W-distance function on the set of ordered pairs of chambers of Δ‎, and ℓ is the length function on (W, S). It also presents a notation in which the type of a residue R is denoted by Typ(R) and concludes with the condition that residues R and T of a building will be called parallel if R = projR(T) and T = projT(R).

Abstract In this paper we discuss asymmetric length structures and asymmetric metric spaces. A length structure induces a (semi)distance function; by using the total variation formula, a (semi)distance function induces a length. In the first part we identify a topology in the set of paths that best describes when the above operations are idempotent. As a typical application, we consider the length of paths defined by a Finslerian functional in Calculus of Variations. In the second part we generalize the setting of General metric spaces of Busemann, and discuss the newly found aspects of the theory: we identify three interesting classes of paths, and compare them; we note that a geodesic segment (as defined by Busemann) is not necessarily continuous in our setting; hence we present three different notions of intrinsic metric space.

Using A Segmented Voltage Sweep Mode and A Gaussian Curve Fitting Method to Improve Heavy Metal Measurement System PerformanceThis paper presents a voltammetric segmented voltage sweep mode that can be used to identify and measure heavy metals' concentrations. The proposed sweep mode covers a set of voltage ranges that are centered around the redox potentials of the metals that are under analysis. The heavy metal measurement system can take advantage of the historical database of measurements to identify the metals with higher concentrations in a given geographical area, and perform a segmented sweep around predefined voltage ranges or, alternatively, the system can perform a fast linear voltage sweep to identify the voltammetric current peaks and then perform a segmented voltage sweep around the set of voltages that are associated with the voltammetric current peaks. The paper also includes the presentation of two auto-calibration modes that can be used to improve system's reliability and proposes the usage of a Gaussian curve fitting of voltammetric data to identify heavy metals and to evaluate their concentrations. Several simulation and experimental results, that validate the theoretical expectations, are also presented in the paper.
