<p class="2">The Kingdom of Tonga is an isolated least developing country located on the northeast of New Zealand with a population of 103,252 (2011 census) and with a gross domestic product per capita of USD $2,545.20.  Before educational systems in a least developing country like the Kingdom of Tonga begin employing e-learning, an assessment of the current situation of students and learning institutions may contribute to its success. Using an appropriate assessment tool is important for accurately measuring the degree of e-readiness. In this study, we administered a survey to 186 students randomly selected from five secondary schools in the Kingdom of Tonga to measure Facebook usage as an index of e-readiness for e-learning. We found that a large percentage (81%) of secondary students use Facebook, and most (74%) of these students have used Facebook for two or more years. All (100%) students use a computer to access Facebook, and most also access Facebook through mobile phones (62%) or tablets (46%). We also found correlations between duration of having a Facebook account and other indicators of e-readiness. Our findings suggest that secondary students in the Kingdom of Tonga have developed e-readiness for e-learning through their use of Facebook.</p>

The purpose of this research was the studied the educational learning model that were a personalized system and direct instruction as well as which was more appropriate given to secondary school students. The research method was experimental. The study population in SMA N 3 Ciamis Indonesia. The participants was 30 students in sports class. The research instrument was the observated of the amount of active learning time on the physical education learning subject matter by lay up shoot basketball in the form of a comparison between the time focus and students focus. How the personalization system learning model and direct instruction can be given at the high school assessment. In conclusion the learning model that can be given because it will provide student learning with different learning models.

Abstract A variety of programming languages are used to teach fundamentals of programming in secondary schools in Slovakia. Nowadays, we observe a new trend, the Python language gaining ground. In our paper we evaluate the interviews, in which we asked teachers with years of pedagogical experience, what the reasons for selecting a particular programming language where. By analysing the responses we learn about their experience with teaching programming and create a list of the important elements in the selection of the most suitable programming language for secondary school students. We will seek an answer for the question whether the Python programming language is appropriate for all secondary school students.

The study investigated the impact of generative learning model (GLM) on academic self-concept and achievement of secondary school students in Chemistry in Onitsha Education Zone, Nigeria. A quasi-experimental design was used involving a sample of 98 students, 67 males and 31 females from Onitsha education zone. The instruments known as chemistry self concept scale (CSCS) and chemistry achievement test (CAT) were used for data collection. The instruments were validated by three experts one from educational psychology and two from science education department all from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka-with reliability coefficient of 0.87 and 0.81 respectively were used for data collection. Four research questions and four hypotheses guided the study. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer research questions while analysis of Covalence (ANCOVA) was used to test the hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. The results revealed that academic self concept of experimental group (GLM) improved more than control group, also GLM enhance achievement more than conventional method in teaching chemistry. Finding implies there is need for chemistry teachers to use GLM in teaching chemistry. Recommendations were made on how chemistry teachers, educational and institutional bodies should adopt the use of GLM to improve teaching and performance of students in chemistry.
