Purpose Innovation networks provide an efficient mechanism for organizations to realize their potential for knowledge learning and innovation improvement. Firms situated within innovation networks require specific abilities to acquire the knowledge and the complementary assets that facilitate their innovation performance. Motivated by recent research studies in the area of social network and RBV, the purpose of this paper is to improve the understanding of the precise manner in which network capability affects a firm’s innovation performance. Design/methodology/approach Based on the data obtained from Chinese high-tech firms, the hypotheses are tested by using hierarchical multiple regressions. Findings This study identifies two types of network capabilities: network structural capability and network relational capability. The findings suggest that network structural capability has a greater positive impact on innovation performance than network relational capability does within an exploration-orientated network. However, network relational capability is more positively associated with innovation performance within an exploitation-orientated network. Practical implications A firm can enhance the value of its ego network by shaping and adjusting network configurations, rather than by passively reaping the benefits from existing relationships or ties with partners. Originality/value This paper contributes to strategic management theory and social network theory by illustrating how a networked firm can enable network value and appropriate this value according to its strategic purposes and by suggesting that a firm can improve its ego network’s value through exerting its network capabilities to shape and adjust network configurations. This paper also advances the contingent approach within social network research by offering a new complementary perspective and new evidence from a Chinese context.

In 1978, Esco was established in Singapore to provide clean air solutions for the high-tech and science industry website escoindonesia.com. From there, Esco is committed to providing the best solutions in technological capabilities to create a cleaner, healthier and safer world. In this study, which is used as an object of research that is in the system of borrowing and returning tools. In operational activities it still uses a manual and conventional system, unsupported by an integrated system. From the observations and research, the author finally built an Information System as solution. The information system is designed and built with a web-based platform using Notepad ++ as its programming editor, MYSQL front as a data base editor, XAMPP as a database server and PDF as a report viewer media. Apply the Squence Diagram method in software development. This new information system is expected to be able to assist in the company's activities, such as in making loan forms, return forms and loan and repayment reports, etc. The application of this Information System is expected to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the company PT Esco Bintan. After the existence of this Information System the company can operate this system more quickly and easily without requiring a very long time to operate the work. And the company is very easy to find the required documents and storage is very safe not easily lost

The author eexamines the policy initiated by French President Nicolas Sarkozy and aimed at the development of innovation. This policy is reflected by the support of high-tech industries, by the creation of scientific-industrial clusters, by the development of regional innovation networks, by upgrading of higher education and scientific research. Altogether it is to raise the France’s competitive force and to turn it into one of the leading powers of the world.

This paper presents a brief introduction to competition-driven digital transformation in the machining sector. On this basis, the creation of a digital twin for machining processes is approached firstly using a basic digital twin structure. The latter is sub-grouped into information and data models, specific calculation and process models, all seen from an application-oriented perspective. Moreover, digital shadow and digital twin are embedded in this framework, being discussed in the context of a state-of-the-art literature review. The main part of this paper addresses models for machine and path inaccuracies, material removal and tool engagement, cutting force, process stability, thermal behavior, workpiece and surface properties. Furthermore, these models are superimposed towards an integral digital twin. In addition, the overall context is expanded towards an integral software architecture of a digital twin providing information system. The information system, in turn, ties in with existing forward-oriented planning from operational practice, leading to a significant expansion of the initially presented basic structure for a digital twin. Consequently, a time-stratified data layer platform is introduced to prepare for the resulting shadow-twin transformation loop. Finally, subtasks are defined to assure functional interfaces, model integrability and feedback measures.

The article discusses the results of a study on the participation of research organizations, universities, small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine and the CIS countries in the framework programs of the EU to integrate into the European scientific space. Based on the research and development information system (CORDIS), data were collected, processed and analyzed on the participation of scientists, specialists and business representatives of Ukraine and the CIS countries in EU international projects. A comparative analysis of the participation of the CIS countries in the framework of programs has been made. Particular attention is paid to the participation of Ukraine in the program “Horizon 2020”. Examples of participation of Ukrainian organizations in it are given. In the course of the research, it was revealed that almost a third of the projects that Ukrainian participants are performing involved several organizations from Ukraine. Compared to previous programs, the peculiarity of the Horizon 2020 program in comparison with previous programs is the active participation of business, public organizations and associations, as well as other non-governmental institutions. These organizations make up 45% of the total number of Ukrainian organizations that received grants in the “Horizon 2020”. The study showed that Ukraine is also one of the active participants in the international projects of the Horizon 2020 program as a participant. Participation in the program allows you to attract high-tech industries of Ukraine for projects and receive orders for the creation of innovative products

Modern trends in the development of technology are based on the need for experimental studies of the equipment being developed in laboratory conditions with the maximum approximation of the operating modes to real ones. Such studies are impossible without the development of specialized stands with test automation systems. Automation of processes involves the organization of measuring channels as part of a stand using analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), digital-to-analog conversion (DAC), digital-todigital conversion (DDC) and the development of a hardware-software complex (HSC) based on high-speed computing devices. As part of the project to create new high-tech equipment, the specialists of FSBEI HE “KSPEU” and JSC “ChEAZ” developed and created an experimental stand designed to verify and confirm the correctness of the selected structural and circuit solutions used in the design of a synchronous valve electric motor (SVEM) and rod control station borehole pumping unit (RC SBPU). The object of experimental research was the prototype and prototype electric drives of oil pumping units, as well as their components: SVEM and RC SBPU. The article discusses the ways of organizing the measuring and control channels of the measuring and information system of the experimental bench, which allows to study samples of synchronous valve motors and control stations of the sucker rod pump unit in the regimes that are as close as possible to real field conditions simulating the operation of the oil pumping unit of the sucker rod pump unit. Thus, in the experimental stand, analog, discrete and digital control and control channels are implemented.
