The continuous need for education and the significant changes in European policies and regulations overseeing sports coaching and training require the adjustment of teaching models and methods to the needs and potential of teachers, students, and technology. In educational and training programmes for team sports coaching, it is common to use a group of athletes or video to demonstrate physical, technical, and tactical procedures. This requires significant human resources, both while developing the procedures and to reproduce them. Furthermore, both cases (live execution by athletes or video recording) are limited in visual perspective and detail. For this reason, specific software for demonstrating tactical procedures is sometimes used. But existing software presents significant limitations, for instance, when one cannot change procedures in real time nor can one interact with the audience. This article focus on the development of a new resource: a software system combining tri-dimensional automated avatars in the Second Life world, an external control server, and an helper desktop application. Using this system, coaches enrolled in education/training programs can more easily be involved, even taking a player’s role, and analyze movements from various points of view. This system aims to contribute to the improvement of the team handball coach education programs by supporting the understanding of the dynamics between defensive and offensive players in the organized phase of a handball game, using shared 3-D simulations with avatars.

Geographic Information Systems ( GIS abbreviated as Geographic Information System ) is a specialized information system that manages data having spatial information . Most to process data in the form of GIS data are still many who use desktop application or can only run on one computer while the more advanced development requires us to produce information more easily is to develop a GIS online ( via the Internet ) and can be accessed Anywhere You . This application is designed using DFD modeling and created using the programming language PHP with MySQL database as well as utilizing Google Map API . As well as to facilitate the collection of data by the field of local government development . Moreover , the existence of GIS aims to help local governments in the search for building plots parcels and ownership of data previously not been structured to be more structural and facilitate spatial data collection .

This paper presents on the implementation of spellchecker and corrector system in mobile phone devices, such as a smartphone for the low-resourced Tigrigna language. Designing and developing a spell checking for Tigrigna language is a challenging task. Tigrigna script has more than 32 base letters with seven vowels each. Every first letter has six suffixes. Word formation in Tigrigna depends mainly on root-and-pattern morphology and exhibits prefixes, suffixes, and infixes. A few project have been done on Tigrigna spellchecker on desktop application and the nature of Ethiopic characters. However, in this work we have proposed a systems modeling for Tigrigna language spellchecker, detecting and correction: a corpus of 430,379 Tigrigna words has been used. To indication the validity of the spellchecker and corrector model and algorithm designed, a prototype is developed. The experiment is tested and accuracy of the prototype for Tigrigna spellchecker and correction system for mobile phone devices achieved 92%. This experiment result shows clearly that the system model is efficient in spellchecking and correcting relevant suggested correct words and reduces the misspelled input words for writing Tigrigna words on mobile phone devices.

PT. Duta Astakona Girinda is a company in the field of geomatics and spatial information management. This company was founded in early 1987 to provide consulting services for spatial information management applications, hardware, software, implementation and communication. As the experience of PT. Duta Astakona Girinda as an information and communication technology management application consulting service provider, continues to innovate. Providing services such as mapping planning, thematic maps of various needs, cartography, digitizing services, scanning, plotting. This company also provides GIS market application development services, GIS and MIS integration. Other services include conducting training, seminars and creating a spatial database. The company needs a warehouse information system to make it easier for warehouse administrators to manage incoming and outgoing goods at PT Duta Astakona Girinda. The role of this Information System is also inseparable from the users of equipment that are able to overcome the inability of human labor. Kata kunci—framework, aplikasi desktop, aplikasi web    AbstractDesktop application is an application that runs locally in a desktop environment and can be accessed only by desktop users. It differs from web application which can be accessed from anywhere through networks. But unlike desktop applications, web applications cannot integrate nicely with desktop applications from where it is accessed. This research developes a prototype of framework which is named HAF (Hybrid Application Framework). HAF is used for developing and executing a new type of desktop application, named HyApp (Hybrid Application). Through HAF, HyApp is built using web technologies and can be accessed either locally or from networks. When accessed locally, even though it is built using web technologies, it still can communicate with other desktop applications. Also by using APIs provided by HAF, HyApp is capable to behave differently based on whether it is accessed locally or remotely. Keywords—framework, desktop applications, web applications

Information Technology does help people to get information promptly anytime and anywhere. Unfortunately, the information gathered from the Internet does not always come out positive. Some information can be destructive, such as porn images. To mitigate this problem, the study aims to create a desktop application that could detect parts of human body which can be expanded in the future to become an image filter application for pornography. The detection methodology in this study is Viola-Jones method which provides a complete framework for extracting and recognizing image features. A combination of Viola-Jones method with Haar-like features, integral image, boosting algorithm, and cascade classifier provide a robust detector for the application. First, several parts of the human body are chosen to be detected as the data training using the Viola-Jones method. Then, another set of images (similar body parts but different images) are run through the application to be recognized. The result shows 86.25% of successful detection. The failures are identified and show that the inputted data are completely different with the data training.
