Mobile broadband utilizing Long-Term Evolution (LTE) has advanced the field of data transmission; with networks capable of providing broadband speeds to mobile broadband users. There has been a sporadic increase in the utilization of Long-Term Evolution (LTE) networks, but due to the rapid growth and utilization of network links and network services, certain issues begin to rise, such as the issue of poor Quality of Service (QoS) perceived by mobile users. Data network quality of service degrades over time when network cannot keep up with the growing demand for the network resources. The research reviewed various existing content delivery network models in order to understand the overall architecture and operations. An optimized model was developed and integrated into the existing Long-Term Evolution network models. The model was evaluated using the Network Simulator (NS-3) and Quality of Service (QoS) metrics, such as, Network Throughput, Round Trip Time, Bandwidth, Packet Loss, Jitter and Connection Ratio. The results obtained from the simulations showed that the optimized model performed better and more efficiently than previous solutions. And if implemented in Mobile Broadband, this will improve the Quality of Service, network throughput and overall performance of the network. This study concluded that cloud-based content delivery network provides a solution which would help improve the Quality of Service experience by Mobile Broadband subscribers. By actively redirecting network traffic to the nearest replica server on the network edge; thus, increasing efficiency and throughput.

One of the key elements in the networks LTE (Long Term Evolution) is the possibility of deploying multiple femtocells for the improvement of coverage and data rate. However, arbitrary overlapping coverage of these cells makes the handover mechanism complex and challenging. In this paper, simulations of deploying LTE femtocells in a scenario were evaluated. With this objective, measure impact and correlation of the use of femtocell parameters of QoS (Quality of Service) and handover. Possible limitations of this integration are discussed. Will be the integration of LTE femtocell a panacea? Despite this promising alternative estimates are fraught with uncertainty. The results show that the use of femtocell got worse on indicators of handover, impact on indicators of QoS.

The study aims to analyze the Quality of Service (QoS) of Long Term Evolution Frequency Division Duplexing (LTE FDD) telecommunication network in urban and sub-urban in Semarang city. This study observed the quality of the LTE FDD in terms of network responsiveness or ping, packet loss, delay, and throughput on upload and download from the user's experience based on eNodeB length variation. Quality observations were carried out on the QoS of the LTE FDD telecommunications network in the Semarang using the Axence NetTools and Oakla Speed Test applications during busy hours at each eNodeB. The results were presented based on variations in distance and showed the quality of packet loss and delay classified as very good based on ITU-T G.114, which is respectively less than 3% and 150 milliseconds. Ping testing was classified as good based on the LTE control plane, which is less than 50 milliseconds at each point. Service throughput was between 16.98-19.01 Mbps for uploads and 17.34 - 23.29 Mbps for uploads.
